Chapter- 20

Lavanya: That's all Khushi! You are doing great.
Khushi: Really?
Lavanya: yea!
Khushi: Thank you Lavanya ji, this all was possible because of you.
Lavanya: Arghhh I am done with you chamkili. You wouldn't listen to me ever, will you?
Khushi: What have I done now?
Lavanya: Dare you call me Lavanya ji again! I am your friend chamkili, not your aunt. Either you're going to call me Lavanya like ASR does or only La. Decide yourself or if you again called me lavanya ji, I wouldn't talk to you.

Khushi: ok ok! Sorry baba... ummm ... I'll call you La then. She winked at her and both laughed freely when Arnav entered there.

Arnav: What's up?
Lavanya: Nothing ASR, something between us friends.
Arnav: ok!
Khushi: Let me bring coffee for you! Arnav nodded and Khushi left.
Lavanya: umm ASR I wanted to talk with you.
Arnav: yea tell! Everything alright? Or it's about Khushi?
Lavanya: Relax! Don't need to worry too much but yea it's partially about Khushi and ... After a pause... Sheetal.
Arnav looked at her first confused but then nodded with a knowing look.

It's been a while they have returned back to Raizada Mansion and now having dinner with family. Everyone is chatting and having their dinner normally but Arnav can see Anjali and Mami taking extra care of Sheetal and Abhi whereas Mami making faces looking at Payal and Khushi. He sighed, this has to end now.

Arnav: Sheetal! What is happening about your accommodation? You said now you'll get flat after 1 month but's already been around 3 months?

Everyone looked at Arnav surprised and shocked as he suddenly started speaking about Sheetal's accommodation. Sheetal looked at him stumped and then tried to cover her shock with fake smile and looked at everyone. She was going to reply after making a quick excuse but Anjali intervened before her.

Anjali: Chotte! Why are you asking like that? We have discussed this earlier and it was decided that Sheetal and Abhi will stay here with us.
Arnav: Why not Di? She's out guest, though we don't have any problem with her staying here but she must be feeling embarrassed. That time we forced her to stay here with us because she was new in Delhi and didn't know anyone here but it's been long. Think about her Di! Just think if you go somewhere as guest and they force you to stay there, till how many days you'll feel comfortable in some other's house?

Anjali: but chotte...

Arnav: I know Di what you want to stay but don't worry I'll handle everything. Therefore I asked from herif she have looked for some place so I should check how it is or I should look myself.

Sheetal: ASR is right Anjali ji. In fact I was myself thinking how to talk about this with you, I didn't want you to feel bad when you're giving so much love to me and my son.

Arnav: Trust me Sheetal, We wouldn't feel bad. We understand it must be getting awkward for you. And also if anyone of us wants to meet we can meet anytime, we'll be in same city afterall. Right Nani?

Nani: I agree with you Chotte! She said smiling and Anjali also nodded halfheartedly.

Sheetal: Ok then let me call the broker of he can show me some accommodations otherwise I'll tell you ASR.

Arnav: Fine with me!
Khushi looked at everyone and listen to everything silently. She just smiled at Arnav when he turned towards her and again started having her dinner.

Arnav was completing his office work and Khushi was with family downstairs when his phone went off.

Arnav: Yes Lavanya?
Lavanya: What happened?
Arnav: Well taking care of Di, I indirectly told Sheetal to get out from my house.
Lavanya: Woah! I am glad you did that. But I hope you didn't mind what I told you?
Arnav: No Lavanya! In fact I was myself thinking about it but was unsure. In fact I should thank you, that little talk with you cleared my mind.
Lavanya: I am glad. Ok, good night then!
Arnav: Good night.

After keeping his phone back Arnav sighed thinking about his conversation with Lavanya.

Flashback

Lavanya: ASR I don't know if I should say this or you would believe me or not... she paused.
Arnav: What is it Lavanya?
Lavanya: ASR I can't keep quiet, I am really worried about chamkili.
Arnav: Khushi? What is it Lavanya? You're scaring me now.
Lavanya: I don't feel good about Sheetal, I don't think her intensions are good.
Lavanya: Look ASR I know she is your college friend but the way she looks at Khushi so enviously, I can see jealousy and disgust in her expressions. The way she indirectly tries to hurt khushi with her and make her feel low is makes me think only in one direction her motives are danger ASR.

Arnav (sighed): You don't need to feel sorry Lavanya. In fact I have this thing in my mind from a long time now therefore I shifted her to another branch and tried to keep as much as difference I can keep between them. I was not sure with whom should I talk about this as family is always busy with Sheetal and Abhi and Khushi, I don't want her to take tension when she is taking steps forward.

Lavanya: So what do you think now?
Arnav: I'll have to plan everything carefully taking care of not to hurt Di.
Lavanya: sounds good.
Arnav: first I have to send her away from RM.

Flashback ends.

Arnav: I need to know what Sheetal wants!
Khushi: Arnav ji? You're still awake?
Arnav: I was waiting for you. Come! Let's sleep.

Same time

Anjali was walking towards her room when she stopped hearing Sheetal's voice, she was talking with Abhi.

Sheetal: I know Abhi that you want to stay here with everyone but dear this is not our home. We have to leave if not today then tomorrow.
Abhi: But Mom I like here with everyone. If we'll live alone you'll again go to work leaving me alone.
Sheetal: I am sorry dear but I have to do this, otherwise how'll I take care of you.
Abhi: Why can't we stay with Dad? Why we have to? Every child stays with her mother and father both.

Sheetal: We can't Abhi, however much we wish but your father can never keep you with him. He have his own life now and he is very happy in it.
Abhi: But I'll miss him.
Sheetal: I know but we used to live alone before and we can do that in future also. In fact it's good we are leaving you wouldn't get attach to him more.

Anjali: What are you talking? Who is Abhi's father Sheetal ji? And how is he getting more attached to him by staying here?

Sheetal (pretending): Are Anjali ji you here? At this time?
Anjali: Yes I heard your voice and stopped, but what were you talking about?
Sheetal: Nothing Anjali ji. Actually I was just making Abhi understand that he can't stay with you guys forever, he'll really miss you.
Anjali: Doesn't matter we'll keep meeting and he can come here anytime. She said caressing Abhi's cheeks who smiled and then left when Sheetal told him to sleep.
Anjali: But Sheetal ji, you still didn't tell me about her father? And how your staying here connects you to him?

Sheetal (laughing fakely): Oh you heard that? Actually it was nothing, it was not about his father.
Anjali: Then?
Sheetal: ummm.. Actually Anjali ji you must have noticed how close Abhi feels to ASR, their likes, dislikes, habits etc. So after staying here with him he have started looking at ASR just like his father which he never had. Therefore I said it's good we are leaving, this way he wouldn't get attach to him more.

Anjali: Sheetal ji that's not a problem you know.
Sheetal: There is! You wouldn't understand Anjali ji and also I don't think Khushi likes us staying here and I have seen how she don't like Arnav and Abhi spending time together. I can't blame her she is his wife and she has all rights on ASR but Abhi is a child, he doesn't understand all this therefore I feel it's good that we leave soon.

Anjali leaves from there nodding at her lost in thoughts and Sheetal smirks wiping her fake tears "Trust me Anjali, I wouldn't go anywhere and you all will beg me to stay here."

Anjali thinks everything she heard and what Sheetal said, she is sure she heard Sheetal talking about Abhi's father then why she suddenly changed everything and told she was talking about Arnav? What has Sheetal's and Abhi staying here in RM or not connects it to Abhi's father?

She thinks about everything when suddenly all the similarities between Arnav and Abhi, the way Sheetal always looks at Arnav "Is that possible?"

She prayed to never prove this thought right. But till when she'll deny this when Sheetal is all set to strike and prove her every fear and doubt true. What'll happen to Arnav and Khushi's relaton? What decision will Khushi take?

Oh god, this Sheetal is getting on my nerves, Please kick her now. Wish her legs break and she is bedridden in the hospital for a few weeks at least.

I hope you dont plan to make Abhi as Arnav's real son. That would be too much to take.
