I started watching this serial recently and I don't know complete story I watched only few episodes.

I may be wrong but I just want to point this out.

It was mentioned that sona went to meet Dev after 6 months after soha was born.

Sona was not pregnant or may be was but no one knew at that time.

So when she got to know she was pregnant she didn't thought to share it with Dev. Even if they are separated first thing actually should be doing was inform the partner he deserves to know it.

For all the time she was carrying baby she never told him. She took further 6 months OK it can be considered acceptable.

But she could have at least called him or left a message.

When we are going to meet someone after long time we inform them prior going to at least know they will be available to meet.

Sona went unannounced and left immediately after she was told she can't meet.

I don't know but this looks more like half hearted attempts.

She never wanted Dev to know about suhana.

She just made an attempt so that no one blame her.

Now also she will be glad to keep Dev and sona apart with half attempts.

If not for soha's condition she will leave both of them if she has to be with only one of them.

Those are all half hearted attempts.

I don't know weather Dev deserve it or may be he doesn't .may be he deserved pain .

But sona never really attempted to Dev and soha together. She planned to keep them away forever.

They had a very bitter separation and may be this is the reason Sonakshi never tried to tell Dev about their child. Moreover she must be busy in getting her family a shelter as they were homeless too.

Yes but after Soha was born, she went to Dev ( keeping aside her ego, as she said) but was sent back. I agree the attempt was feeble and she could have called him or tried some other mode. Specially because it was for Suhana not for herself and she knew Dev will never turn Soha away.

I am sure she had planned return ticket along with ticket to Delhi then also.

If she really cared about soha getting her father she would have tried harder in her attempt.

It is more like when my father ask me to call someone I don't like and I don't want to I will just formally dial once and excuse and disconnect before it gets connected.

I just called according to my father wish and didn't speak on my terms.

Ash's would have forced her to go, their is no ego all but just she didn't want to let Dev know of her

I agree on this, her attempts were feeble and she could have either called him or waited for him for a straight talk.

Initially the CVs scripted it in a way that Sona never bothered to look back. Suddenly, due to some last minute script changes, they included the FB scene. She even mentions during the "bereham" confrontation that she left a message for him and asks him if he didn't get it. The breakup did not have a closure and the aftermath wasn't detailed.

hmmm... I think, she did more than enuff given the circumstances surrounding her being thrown out and the words Dev threw at her like.. that's why she could never be a mother, she will never be a mother, she will never be a good mother, she will never be able to repay her loan and whatnot. during the revelation and FB episode, she also said she left him a message. What did Dev do? Did he ever bother to look for Sonakshi and her family? if they lived or died? Whatever happened to that 7% chance and that forced sexual night they had right before he kicked his wife out?

Whatever said and done... there seems to be no hidden agenda from Sonakshi. Half hearted, as you say, effort nonetheless to tell Dev about the child. If she really wanted to keep them away, she wouldn't have moved to Delhi, wouldn't have told her dad off when he told her to keep Dev Dixit away, wouldn't have called him to discuss what Soha had decided. Wouldn't have asked him to come stay at her house.. if she wanted to keep them away from each other!

dude sona reached out to dev ish never allowed her to reach ...

dev was vanished romancing random girl in hotel and drinking ..

pls i advice pls watch the show again .

blame cvs who keep changing the script according to there needs and they ruined the character of dev even if he tries genuinely for us it looks fake .

totally ruined dev and ish now they ruining bijoy and sona to justify dev and ish to stretch the drama 1 yr long ..

no logic

how can dev ignore sona completely its unlike him he just went underground not even searching for bose family after what vicky did its unbelievable

Yes . it was a formality... she wanted to give Dev one last chance to be what he always wanted... She was even willing to forget everything that happened in S1 for the sake of the kid.

By end of S1, Sona was jobless and homeless and relocated to kolkatta with heavy debt. then she finds out she is pregnant - with chances of not being able to carry to term (due to her inhospitable uterus).. So even if she informed Dev at that time, he came and reconciled and the baby was miscarried then what ? that will be repeat of Season 1. as clearly by end of S1, she knew all Ishwari cares about is dixit baby and all dev cares about is ishwari...

So she waited for baby to be born and then it must have hit her ... what if the dixits being all rich and poweful snatch the baby and get the custody as sona is is homeless and dixits can provide the child with more than enough ?

Still i am sure she gathered the courage, fought with bijoy who may have been against this idea and came down wtih the baby as one last try ... wanted to meet Dev ... face to face... she was told to go away... and never return... She knows the gaurd did not tell about the baby to dixits... but it was cristal clear that she as herself is no longer needed at Dixit house ... they didnt even want to meet her... so if she forces and tells them that she has the baby... there is a very good chance that ishwari will make dev file custody case and get the full custody on the basis of being able to provide a better life and ofcourse some other second class tactics that dixits are very well accustomed to - twisting law, false witnesses etc.

So any sensible woman/mother would run away from there as far as possible and never return or tell them about the baby...

after 7 yrs .. sonakshi is rich and can handle any custody case incase dixits go that route. so she is confident and returned to delhi...

hope that clears the confusion... lot has happened in S1 to instill fear in sonakshi and bose family

Offcourse i would say it too as namesake formality especially atttimes when theres mobile,watsapp n mails ...such things can be reached in notime!...The thing amazed me she came to meet after 6 mnths of delivery but she dared not inform the guard to tell them she came up with a baby...The motive or intention is important here when u really wanted ur kid to have a father,you wouldnot hide it at first place standing infront of the gate...Whtr thy would have met her with the child or not,snatched it or not ... is the issue here but how Sona chose to inform without delving the details is really clapsworthy!..n thats y her attempts luk feeble to me atleast!
