Sona's and asha's marriage struggles are not comparable

It was educative to know that asha too did lot of adjustment and compromises as no marriage is easy. Yes now bijoy is loud, over reactive, short tempered and I can imagine that would have been many times higher when bijoy was in his youth. But her struggle in past and in present too to control bijoy and his anger is nowhere near sona's struggle to get accepted by an over possessive for his son mother in law, uncultured extended family of husband's which comprises of a gold digger mami and cheapo brother in law plus an always unsatisfied divorced sister in law with no or next to no public support from her husband.

It's unfair to say Asha life was easy compared to Sona .Asha had her shares of problem with Bijoy and the point Asha was making was if needed even she could have refused to put up with Bijoy's bitterness and could have called it quits .She had enough reasons just like Sona but she choose to focus on positives and had to compromise.

If the relation is perfect then it's only because of compromise and not letting ego come between their relationship.If Sona craves for such relationship then Asha asked her to work towards it instead of assuming everything will be perfect from day one .

How can Asha compare her married life with sona
Asha hubby bijoy might be hot headed like dev it's common all men are hot pans
But there is something called balancing which dev never tried
His robotic towards ishwari made the marriage break in to pieces
Not that sona try to adjust whole time she was doing was to adjust putting ishwari at front seat
But that's a limit
Dev never attended to sona at time when she needed the most when she was devastated to know she can't conceive that time a wife needs a hubby the most but what did dev do he just went on one track to please his mom


Dev like ppl don't deserve to marry a girl who is mammas boy
Nothing wrong being momma boy but balancing is necessary when u love some one
Dev treated sona as object .

Bijoy might be hot temper all the time but when it comes to balancing he rocked his mom is cool .

I remember when Asha started writing her book she mentioned how perfect her hubby and m-I-l and even complained of not playing games nor troubled her giving sorrows so that would inspire her to be writer

Seems writer forgot that episode that shows cvs of this show sucks

Asha didn't call it quits other than the fact that divorce was a taboo then was becoz her problems were not irreparable or unsolvable

Since not much have been shown to the viewers about Asha Bijoy initial life we viewers are only left to imagine based on the little information shown .Asha and Sonakshi's struggles were different, Asha had a understanding MIL and problems she had were mostly related to Bijoy whereas for Sona Dev was a good husband minus Ishwari so her struggles were mostly because of insecure MIL .

From what they have shown Bijoy is not a easy person to deal with and his non practical morals and ethics in life might have forced Asha to compromise on financial front ,his pessimistic nature might have caused problems for her and his constant mocking of their son might somewhere have forced Asha to bring the balance in their relationship. The above problems are no less than dealing with possessive MIL .

Asha in Sonakshi's shoes might have handled the whole situation differently...we never know what Asha did to gain her MIL's trust or how their initial relationship was .Agree dealing with possessive MIL is not easy but I do agree that Sona and Dev gave up on their relationship easily .RR and Vicky were not that important in their relationship.With little trust and understanding they could have easily handled the selfish duo

I also believe that apart from the external factors ego ,pride , sacrificing nature , trying to be best son /daughter and hypocrisy played a big role in their breakup.

The CVS have dug themselves into a deep hole. The only way out is to bring the Boses down and other than sabotaging the righteous characters they built they don't have a choice. Lets not try to justify everything they show :-)

I dunt think Asha was comparing her situations or problems with regards to Sona...the point she was referring to is the word PERFECT!..Nothing is perfect...Be it marraige,partner or life... The idea of Perfection is an illusion !.To strive for a balanced happy life one has to undergo lot of sacrifices n adjustments to make it happening n succesful...Thats what she meant...She was neither justifying Dev nor bitching about Bijoy...Nor was boasting about her struggles..but talking about the mindsets of many who deemed to be or that is perfectly ideal which is envisoned n dreamt but in reality such notions dont exist...One has to work for it to achieve it to be close to real n perfect...be it relationship or other important facets in life!

are you saying if we compromise a little bit in a relationship then we are losing our self respect ? If that was the case then no relationship would exist in this world .Itvwas Sonakshi's decision to be with Dev forgetting last 7yrs and Asha asked her to respect that and make it work by seeing from other person's perspective.Asha did not force Sona to stay with Dev or come up with this not so practical week to week shifting .

There is a thin line between ego and self respect .i justify what I believe in and what I have seen around me .I don't believe feminism is equal to prefencial treatment or refusing to accept my loved ones mistake .I believe feminism is equal rights and Same rules for men n women .I also believe compromise is needed in every relationship and one doesn't become small if they compromise .Again I know the difference betweeen compromise and abuse .I have the guts to accept my mistakes n my loved ones and that doesn't make me a weak person or doormat . I know my rights and won't abuse that .I believe in what I say here and follow the same
