JNDSD~ My take~ Tuesday 28.3.17~ Damned beyond redemption..
Yes as mere mortals we are likely to error and folly, for we are not deities who are perfection personifications,exempt of death. We commit sins against others and ourselves. We hurt others to avenge ourselves but forget in the process, we end up smarting ourselves. Our faiths and consciences for those who have any, prompts us to seek mercy and forgiveness from the divine that resides in us. Thus follows some deliverance and redemption for those souls who seek atonement. But then there are those of this world ,with hardened hearts that have gone so far ahead in sinning that their souls are beyond restoration. Today's episode makes me wonder is there any saving grace for Suman? or she is condemned beyond repair?
Have to admit that Vividha and Ravish's previous paired working relationship in problem solving situations comes out in this episode. Vividha exposes Chintu and gives reason of how she identified Maha Maya by his bracelet.. one we hope will eventually change into hand cuffs of the law!
Suman stands in the docks, professes strongly to save her skin. Vividha prosecutes her case against Suman with tangible evidence that reduces Suman to being nothing but a brazen liar. Maha Maya! Suman claims to receive her dictates from turns out to be Chintu dressed as a drag queen ! Suman's looks genuinely at a loss to grasp why Chintu poses the way he does? She is in a precarious situation. Her acts are so dark that Vividha for starters, finds it hard to accept that this again may be anything else, except one more of Suman's tricks to fumble her way out now that she has been caught! Suman stands exposed before like the boy who cried wolf..so many lies to her name that even the truth might be treated as an untruth! It begins to look like dark comedy but Suman's Freudian slip turns out to be her confession which she screams as self defense.. she wanted to push Madhav ,but this Chintu actually pushed him from the balcony! Blame palming! Suman's tries to wheedle herself by lying, Madhav cries stopped her! that actually Chintu is the guilty one! But her pleas go to no avail as Ravish coldly reminds her that she is equally at fault as the thought of pushing the child was premeditation on her part. Suman defends herself by giving all the justification of the curse story.. totally wooly in nature! People wonder who in their right mind would believe in superstitions and eerie baseless incredible imaginary nonsense about spirits from the underworld.
Suman banks on her own flesh and blood ,but finds Ravish cold and distant..unwillingly to give her a hand to get her out of the all engulfing quagmire of her crimes. Vividha takes a lead in challenging every reason that Suman uses as a justification to cover her act of conspiring to kill both Atharv and actually attempting to kill her son Madhav. Like Durga maa she is out to get Suman! But not without investigative ground work! She reveals the story behind the curse, the newspaper clipping which proves that Suman did commit Kajri's murder.. Suman insists about seeing Kajri's spirit , since years! Demanding for a blood sacrifice , to get rid of a curse upon her and her son Ravish! She pushed Madhav to free Kajri's tormented soul and free herself and Ravish from the curse of woe forever! Suman genuinely believes that others will understand that what she has done is due perhaps to some mental illness .. chances are she might be let off !! but not so when Vividha is about! She introduces the benign being.. Kajri's granddaughter .. a real woman not some wandering spirit !.. alas mute! But articulate enough to cascade her information through Vividha's help!
Whilst one by one the layers of Suman's offences are being peeled off. More defenseless and beaten she appears almost vulnerable in a odd way.. friend ,foe and family all pass silent judgments of condemnation upon her.. except one! Raghav Suman ?? mid way whilst the accusations and defenses are being put across the floor.. looks up with his big bold bewildered ,half quizzical eyes.. does all this mean that he does not have a mother? His own family? he is confused about who he is?.. he sounds lost ,vulnerable, exposed..alone. Sujata stops her sighs and gulps her pain.. her boy her Atharv! if only she could make him believe that it's she who is her mother and not Suman! The fear of his mind being susceptible still is the biggest fear of all those who Atharv really belongs too! Once again it falls upon Vividha to elucidate the whole truth about Suman before Atharv ! Vividha takes her chance and firstly challenges the identity reversal that Suman imposed on him.. she accuses Suman of conspiring against Atharv since the last four years, engineering his accident ,treating his memory loss as a boon and christened him anew from Atharv Sujata! to Raghav Suman! gives him a whole new family he could call his family! the idea was to gradually remove him out her way .. Vividha charges on with conviction she knows because Suman herself told her so verbatim!! .. Sujata's heart shatters in a million pieces.. she understands the woman's loathing towards her.. but to separate her boy from her for the last four years.. is cruel! coming from another mother. Ravish eyes swim with tears.. what a world of difference between Atharv's mother and his mother.. he has serious doubts if she ever loved him?? what can she hope to achieve after destroying so many lives?? Suman replies she did it for his and her happiness.! By now he knows his mother has gone so far ahead in her criminal mind that perhaps she is a right off damned soul who cannot be served redemption or make amends. Vividha exposes that Suman s modus operandi is to lead a dual life whereby she can chop and change from virtue to vice to feed her ulterior motives! As and when the need arises.. Ravish confesses his own shortfall before all that Vividha had alerted him Madhav kept saying he saw grandma in this house.. and he dismissed them both .. how wrong he was to doubt them .the ugly truth of his mother stands defiantly before him. Ravish towers above her , his eyes watch her lips move but her words bounce off him ..till one word pierces his heart.. criminal! his respect for her falls of like old skin.. and Ravish sighs and collects himself as he hears Vividha telling his mother..
Suman all this time was led into believing that Kajri's grand daughter was her grandmothers spirit come to haunt her.. remind her about the curse .. made to appear before her time and again. Suman still maintains it was maha maya who told her so.Since Suman's maha mayu saga has been busted! Ravish gets his lead that Chintu too is not the mastermind.. he gets his briefs from elsewhere! Ravish nearly gives Chintu the third degree treatment to find out who he takes his orders from?? But Chintu keeps mum. Vividha wonders who it can be.? Ravish points out its someone who knows about his mothers's past.. besideswho can benefit from Atharv and Madhav's death?? Someone is giving orders to Chintu.. looking at the deductions. Can Ravish and Vividha conclude that Suman is to be blamed entirely? It gets all to much for Atharv.. he gets a bout of dizzy spell and that gives the drag queen and his boss the master mind behind, into making a killer plus a demented loser out of Suman! The mistress mind Kalindi!! Ramkant's sister.. Chintu nods and she moves to an already losing touch with reality Atharv ! and makes away with him as her hostage in her car! Vividha is the first to note he is missing! Ravish notes hastily that so was his bau!.. they all rush to follow the car.. Ravish asks Vividha to accompany him in the car.. Ravish chooses to take Vividha , as firstly the pair work very well in a trauma situation. Secondly he respects that Vividha would be the one after Sujata who will be most anxious about Atharv! Vividha does worry.. if Atharv , Madhav and Suman are all disposed off than the assets would go to Ravish! Which puts his life at risk too!
Kalindi sounds off in the car.. with Atharv lying unconscious in the rear seat. We get to see the embittered daughter syndrome..in some cultures the fathers inheritance is passed on to the son. The daughter is denied a share in her father's property under the pretext that she will inherit her share of the property from her husband.It's this disparity in my opinion, that greedy Kalindi sets out to challenge. She clearly appears to have a bee in her bonnet against Suman ,her brother's wife, over property and assets. This goes to show that Suman and kalindi are not partners in crime .. in this episode.But tomorrow's precap shows that .. whether Kalindi kills Atharv for what ever reason? Suman surely will kill Atharv , not to reverse a curse..but to seek her revenge against Sujata and her son.. the ones who stole her happiness.. woe to Suman! most damned.. beyond redemption ,she makes a killer out of her own son!
