Yuhu... I am too happy because it's another OS from you plus I have commented first after so long for someone( a res though😆).
A PURE HINDI Title...Wow... interesting start.
The OS queen must deserve a pat first for bringing up a very commonly found issue when two people from divergent backgrounds and status marry each other. The one to struggle more is always the woman under such circumstances. Hence, naive and simpleton Aarti is no exception. Marrying the YASH SINDHIA is such a giant leap for her and adjust to that style and standard of living wouldn't have been a smooth sail, given the lifestyle and the society that she was accustomed to.
Her inferiority complex is obvious and natural, no matter how intelligent and talented she is.This realism in the characterization and their reactions is what makes this os so endearing and undoubtedly is the soul of the story.
Being Yash means to always choose the wrong way of solving things and this man never fails to disappoint me in that regard. His frustration is very much valid that his wife couldn't even brave up to answer such a silly question about her saree, but one can't ignore the fact he had been unwittingly been a significant factor for the way she is. I just don't see what did it gain him by hiding his feelings for her since the start and what would he lose if he atleast gives some indication of his love to her. His intent was to wait until she grows up enough to open up to him and face the world as Mrs.Yash with pride, only for his wife to misconstrue his apparent aloofness to be his regret for having married her, thus deepening her complex and causing her to take a drastic step of deciding to divorce him for his own good.
That was his wake up call and needless to say, he staked his claim on what is rightfully his and made sure her brain has well absorbed his love for her.
But how will this bond reach its destination when the husband has promoted her only as his wife on grounds of physical intimacy? His acceptance of her real self- a woman who has everything- beauty, talent, intellect and immense love and care is yet to happen as the very factor that could resurface it all- her SELF CONFIDENCE is still pending to be re-instilled into her.
He, therefore resorts to provoking her, only to pay up bad for it by being devoid of her closeness, her touch, her taste until his birthday. Not even a birthday wish on grounds of punishment?? She now perhaps has mastered the art of punishing him too well that nothing made sense without her by his side and he chose to walk out of his own birthday party after the confession.
What best way to show what she is capable of than her designing of her in-laws attires, venue decoration,etc.?? Hence, MISSION CONFIDENT AARTI ACCOMPLISHED finally!!!!!!
A small glimpse of our like thinking yet again. Leaving whether their baby(ies) are boys or girls upto the readers imagination just like how Nikki Di and I did in TNTCE and Rhythm respectively.
Woahh... I hope I have almost covered everything and I must, for this realistic story deserves a big comment to love and comment upon every line of the story.
