It's been explained fairly by everyone else and I agree that a lot of these "star kids" who have sugar daddies i.e. daddies that are already established in this industry and to be fair Karan did help Alia out, I'm not denying she's done well but I honestly don't rate her as an actress and Varun to be honest with you he's too big headed they both have the nerve to comment on nepotism because they didn't have to struggle the way Kangana, Priyanka, Shahrukh - I think SRK struggled a bit I think so anyway he had to work hard to get at the top. These star kids don't know the definition of working and earning because your job is acting but at the same time to work towards getting a role you have to audition, you go through scenes and go through tests it's like an exam, they are able to pass straight away because they have the big daddy aka Karan Johar who just has to help them. I know I always say Katrina had Salman Khan to help her out a lot but she struggled as well she didn't exactly have a big director helping her out. And there is favoritism as well too much overly-promoting "the Alia Bhatt" you know there are MANY ACTRESSES that are also in the industry.
