unfortunately for Ishwari, Soha already picked the "strictness" vibes. Golu was right, Bigcha manages it all

Thanks DQ for that comments... It's not that i am a Bijoy basher...i can't bash him because i find traces of my father in him. And same like Asha, my mother is the practical person when it comes to deal with kid's lives...Same like Bijoy, my father gets impulsive; but thanks that he hear to our advices to assess the situation and think of its after effects, before jumping into it.

I am just waiting for Ronita's entry into Bose house. In the restaurant incident Saurabh managed to impress Ronita by giving a befitting reply to those who mocked at him. But how will he be managing the situation when Baba calls him football infront of Ronita, is something we need to wait & watch.

Having said about Baba this much and today being Women's day, i feel it would not be fair if i don't mention a few incidents related to Asha, my favourite in KRPKAB, which made me fall in awe for her.

1. Once when Saurabh had asked her to become a model for his business, Bijoy happens to hear that Asha had a desire to be a model and gets upset with it. Later while Asha is in the kitchen, Baba comes there on the bahana to drink water, still angry with Asha. However Asha starts a conversation and her answer to Baba's question whether she had any ill feelings in not satisfying her wishes, the answer Asha gives is really cute...Mein roz subah 2-3 saree pahenke ek model ki tharah aapke saamne khada hoke aapka raay puchtha hun, na; vo mere liye kaafi hein...what a lovely and diplomatic answer.😛. (Such subtle moments are missing in the current track)

2. Asha convincing Sona on what situation Dev had done the first break-up and whether Sona would have accepted Dev, if he left his mother for her. And this showed a compassionate side of Asha.

3. Next is a gesture which made me go crazy with Ishwari (though i sympathise with her due to her mental condition), when she agreed with dev calling Asha aunty. During the welcoming ceremony of Dev at the entrance of the marriage hall, when Bua dadi didn't allow to put garland on Ishwari stating that she is a widow, it was Asha who hugged Ishwari and helped her out of that insult. That showed how much she cared for other's sentiments. .

3. Final one is after the leap when they meet at the vegetable vendor, Asha seeing her dull face asks Ishwari what's troubling her, inspite of what all Sona had to suffer in the past... that shows how tolerant a person Asha is.

Because of all these, Many times i have felt if it was Asha in Sona's place, the marriage with Dev would have reached a different level.

Beautiful post Grace! I totally agree, and have also said that of Asha on another blog. I believe Asha is the most well-balanced character on the show, and that if she were in Sona's place (Bold from your post), the marriage may have survived.

A 6 year old girl going to meet her father's side of the family for the first time just tried to impress them with her knowledge of etiquette. She herself ate from ishwari's hand the halwa made by her when she came first. So it was not like she was against it. Just like Ishwari tries to make everything about her for attention she did that to feel that acceptance from her new family.

That's a very good observation. But, is eating with a fork - spoon a dining etiquette? Does that mean that sandwiches and pizzas also need a fork-spoon? Dining table etiquettes is also about eating slowly, no burping, talking less and never with your mouth full etc etc etc. Suhana had the halwa from a spoon. So, this was definitely about being independent. Just like Sonakshi wanted Dev to manage his clothes by folding them himself and keeping it in the closet. I didnt feel that Suhana was showing off. Nope. She doesn't even know the family to do that. With Golu, that could have been a possibility. But, with Ishwari, I don't know. Suhana fed Dev a sandwich - with her hands. So, why was she indifferent here? Did she hear anything in the Bose home about Ishwari? Something was amiss, or shall I say Suhana's behaviour didn't fit in. Just my take.

@DQ

While Mami and vicky are flapping about the money, Soha goes and sits on that one piece of furniture that her mother bought using her own money!

👏👏
