Tum Hi Ho
Part-1

For some people, there is no other heaven as earth, cause they have their love beside them..
And for some, there is no other hell as earth, cause they Have No One Beside Them

No one to look at, no one to care, no one to hear..
All they have is themselves..
A Scarying Loneliness,
Which consumes you second by seconds..

And u dont want to live..
Still u are living..
No, not living..
Just breathing..

And..
Drinking..!!
Consuming yourself !!

His mind clouded with dark thoughts as he sat in one of the pub, with glass of liquor in his hands, his face hidden with the help of woollen skimpy cap, and black shades over his expressive sculpted eyes. His head downcast, as he kept on gulping one after another shot, evasive to his surrounding, yet he is on his senses.
Its been years, he tried to drowned himself in alcohol, but lest he didnt want to lose himself. He wanted to find some solace in alcohol, cause he has no one, absolutely no one.. Oh, no, he has his father who never spare a look at him. He remembers the day, when his father hold him responsible for his mother's death.

"I dont want to see his face, take him away" Mohan kundra roared at Bittuji. 10 years old Rishab, was holding bittuji's hand tightly, with tears streaming down his boyish cheeks, his lips pouted, loud sobs coming out of his lips, as his eyes are fixed on his Mother's lifeless body in hospital bed. That was the first time when someone left him, his mother left him.

"Papa.." He dared to utter, but in return he got a hard push from mohan, as mohan's eyes is blazing with fire.
"Dont call me that. Ur father is dead with ur mother. Didnt i warn u to not play with ur mother, to not hurt her.." Mohan shouted holding Rishab by his shoulders, kneeling before him, inflicting pain on the innocent boy, as rishab cried uncontrollably.
His father is money maker, he dont find time to spare with his family, though he loved his wife, Radha dearly, and Radha was 8 month pregnant. Kid Rishab used to play with Radha, as he is the only child in the home, but that day by mistake Radha slip off the stairs, and lost her unborn baby along with her life. Rishab watch everything in front of his eyes yet he could do nothing.

And the worst part is, his father, pulled himself away from him, when he needed his father the most. That day not only his mother, he lost his father too.

"Sir, its time to close the pub.." A bartender said breaking his reverie.
"Hun ? What time is it ?" Rk asked, straightening himself.
"11:30"
"So soon, u will close the pub ?" Rk asked pouring himself a drink. He usually go to his father's night club, but again, recently something happened which opened his old wound, so he came to this new Low profile Pub, where no one knows him.
"Yes sir.."
"Hmm.. Let me finish this off" rk dispersed the guy.

The incident affected 10 years Rishab, badly, he became quite & snobbish, but somewhere deep down he still wanted his father's love. With time, his father's music company grew, & he remarried a woman Meera, who was widow & he had a son with her, named Sultan. Now, RK got a half brother too, but still in that huge mansion he was alone, he used to cooped up in a room while his father, half brother, and step mother, live in their own so called elite class family.

Things changed, he grew up, with no friends, only bittuji by his side but bittuji couldnot provide him with anything much as he himself, work under Mohan Kundra. But yet, Rk couldnot bring himself to hate his father. Mohan, like a business man offered Rk to join business. Rk starts venturing out too, but nothing seem to eraser that sour spot in his mind, and thus even at the age of 24, he remained Mohan Kundra's son only.
He has no separate identify of his own, and he feels he dont need it either. What the use of it, when no one is there, for whom will he earn money, for whom will he live for ??

Then, something happened, a ray of light touched him. But lest he knew, that light would push him more into darkness.

Rk, lips curved up into a pityful smirk for himself. He pity himself. He pity his life. He drank the whole content, emptying the bottle. He eyes were hard, but still the pain is visible.

Some months ago, Mohan brought an alliance for Rk's marriage, Dipali Bhatia, daughter of one of his age old friend. For the first time Rk got involved with a girl, he found company in her. She is exactly like what a girl should be, or that is what he think of her. He placed her in his good books, he begin to dream his future with her. His loneliness started to left him, But She Slapped The loneliness Again On His Face.

"How can u even think, i will marry u ?" She asked vehemently, as Rk stands broken in front of her.
"I like u Depali, after my mother, u are the first person, whose company i like.. Dipali i.." He starts to convince her, holding her hand when dipali shoved off his hand.
"Am not here to forward charity Rk" she spat "I dont care, what u feel. U know what, u are emotional fool, day & night u kept drowning in pain & grief.
U ARE NOTHING.. simply nothing, then why will i marry a person like u ?"
"Dont say like that Dipali, just Be with me, i promise, i will build myself the way u want" Rk again pleaded her.
"Just shut up ur pleas RK, u are a Failure. U & Sultan Both are Mohan uncle's son, yet, Mohan uncle has his love inclination to Sultan not You. I dont find any reason to be with u, when i can see my future fully secure with Sultan. U will soon be disposed off, and Sultan will became the new heir of the Kundra Music Life"

Those were her last words, she left him for his half brother cause his half brother has everything which he dont.
Sultan, has that Good Luck, a father, a family, which he never had. Now, he dont have anything left to savour, till the day he live, he will breath in this dry life of his, and then one day he will die, and with that his miseries will end too.

Standing up from the rolling tool, he forwarded a decent tip to the bartender, and pulled out the car keys from his Denim's pocket. As he turn around, to go, he stumbled on his step. He frowned at himself & stands straight, there from the corner of his eyes, he saw a lady hurrying out of the pub. By the time he adjust his eyes she has already gone out.
"Ladies too started drinking in pub" he mocked, and starts walking out of the pub.
He reached his car, and got inside it. Removing his shades, and woollen head cap, he started driving the car. He is son of rich businessman Mohan Kundra, who is owner of chains of music companies. Though not many of people knows Rk, but Still some can identify him, and that would create a problem for his father, so generally he mask himself in public places.

As he was driving through the deserted road, he saw some men surrounding a lady ahead, he slowed down his car's speed to have a look at them. In the middle of 4-5 well built men he saw her, her face having the requesting looks as she seems to plead the men in front of her, her soft brown orbs worried, her face has the shade of innocence, her colour is bright, she is glowing even in the middle of the dark night. He feels like they were eve teasing her.
Then he saw, one of the man snatched her bag & dig out for something, as she request them to leave her.
"Please.." She said, trying to take her bag.
"Stand there.." One of the man said as he pulled out some money from her bag.
"I need it, bhaiya..." She said again pleading.
"Our commission.. It is.." They stopped talking to her, as they spot rk's car, and the light from his car's head light fell over them.
"Keep this" one of them thrust 100 rupees in her palm along with her bag, and taking the rest money, they walk away. Rk watch from inside his car, as the lady with sad eyes, turns around & walks to a dark lane. He watch her retreating back, he felt like he has seen her somewhere, but where ?

From back what he can see is that, she is wearing a long skirt, and sleeveless simple upper which hugs her curvy form reaching her waist, her long curvy hairs falling over her shoulders.
Yes, he has seen her in pub, as she hurried out. He hasnt seen her face back then but now, from her back structure he can say that its her only.
Then his eyes caught the sight of, 100 rupees note fallen on the road, where they were standing few minutes ago.
Something in his mind said, he should return it back to her. And quickly getting out from his car, locking it, he pick up the note & took quick stride to the lane following her.

Madhu, was walking clutching her bag, thinking of some ways to ask some money from her boss, she needs it for her mother & they too took the commission, now she is left with very less of money. She stops as she hears foot step behind her, she lightly turns her head & saw a man walking to her, no stalking her. Now this is only left to deal with, she curse mentally & starts taking quick steps.
"Hey.." Rk calls her, as he saw her half walking & more running. Madhu's heart came in her throat as she hears him calling her. Clutching her bag tightly to her chest, she quickened her pace.
"Sunno.."
"Hello.. Miss, slow down.." He spoke to her, as he tried to match her steps.
"Oh god, no please.." She silently prayed as her eyes fill up with tears. What will she do alone, what will he do with her.. Her chawl is still away from where she is standing.
"Hey.. Grey top & black long skirt, am talking to u.." He calls her as he is near to reach her. Madhu stops, and quickly brush off the sparkling tears, she took deep breath, and took a hold of pocket knife inside her bag, then she turns around, and at the same time Rk stops before her, breathing heavily. They look at each other, as they eyes met.
"U left it in road there.." He said, and forward her the money even before she could say anything. She blink her eyes twice to make herself believe that he meant no harm.
"Thanks.." She mumbled in low kittenish voice, taking the money from his hand she turn around & walk away alarmed. Rk ponder at her weird behaviour, and then shrugging his shoulders he walk away.

"Sikky bhaiyaa.." Madhu spoke to the man, who is arranging beer bottles.
"Haan madhu." He replied.
"I need money for maa's blood test." Madhu said softly.
"How much ?"
"800.."
"I have 200 only, and u know our boss dont give advances, what about the tips u collected ?" Sikky enquired.
"Mukkund bhaiyaa took it as commission, last night" she replied.
"Dont worry madhu, i will get the money back from him. And u dont have to pay commission on ur tips, i will take care of that" sikky assured.
"Thankyou bhaiyaa.." Madhu smiled.
"Now go, the speaker is set.." Sikky said & madhu nodded.

As usual, its another evening as Rk sat & starts drinking in the pub, disguising himself. This pub has now became a new habit for him, cause the high class people dont come here, and there are less risk of his exposure.

"yaaraaa...
Mazile ruswa hai, Khoya hai raasta
(The destinations are upset, The road is lost)

Kaash tu aise aaye jaise koi dua
(May You come like a blessing )

Rk, stops sipping on his drinks, with the glass still touching his lips, as the melodious heart filled voice touch his ears. For a moment he felt like he is hearing the voice of his own heart. Keeping the glass on the counter, he rotate himself, on the rotating tool, towards the source of the sound which seems to come from the stage, he never noticed the stage before as most of time he kept himself occupied in alcohol.

"Mujhko iraade de
(Give me resolutions)

Kasamein de, vaade de
(Give me promises and vows)

Meri duaaon ke ishaaron ko sahaare de
(Give support to the signs of my prayers)"

Madhu, holds onto to the mike, as she sing. If she found solace in anything then its music, she lost herself in music. She had aspire to became singer, which she has left long back, but still whenever she sing, her heart & her mind came in sync.

"Dil ko thikaane de
(Give the heart a place to live)

Naye bahaane de
(Give me new reason)

Khaabon ki baarishon ko mausam ke paimaane de
(Give the rainfall of my dreams, a goblet of the season)"

Rk looks at the lady like figure standing in the middle of the small stage singing to herself. He can tell it from her face, she worship music, and he dont know what is it that pulls his senses to her. She is the same girl, from the other night, whom he met.

"Apne karam ki kara adaayein
(Show me Your benevolent deeds)

Kar de idhar bhi tu nigaahein
(Throw a gaze in this direction also)"

As madhu spoke the lyrics, she raise her eyes. Rk feels his eyes caught hers, but after a moment she looked away. He realised that he recognise her, but she couldnot cause he is in disguise.

"Sunn raha hai na tu
(Are You listening or not?)

Ro rahi hoon main
(I am crying)

Sun raha hai na tu
(Are You listening or not?)

Kyun ro rahi hoon main
(Why am I crying?)

Yaraaa ... Aa"

He dont know what made him so spellbound. Whether it is the lyrics of song, or it is her gifted soul touching voice, or it is are innocent pretty face, or it is her soulful eyes !!
He belongs to musical background, his father is a music director, he has seen people practising, and he has knowledge about voices, and he can say for sure hers is the best voice he has ever heard.

Madhu finishes her song, and move around, collecting tips, which some of the people are offering. She performs in pubs as part time job.
Rk watch her turning around to go back, she didnt came where he is sitting, so he called her.

"Sunno.." He said, as he straighten himself. Madhu stops in tracks, as she hears the familiar voice, she turn around to see a man, in woollen head cover & black shade over his eyes. Madhu looks on, as he removed his glasses from his eyes. She looks at him & her expression told him that she has recognised him. Holding her gaze he took out some money from his wallet & forwarded her. Madhu hesitantly took it, as her fingers got brushed against his.
Rk watch on with a frown as she rub her fingers on her long skirt, where it got brushed against his fingers, but soon his frown changed into a smile looking at her antics.
Madhu glance at him once again as she turn away from him, and walk back stage.

Rk was leaning against his car, waiting outside the pub, he dont why he is waiting for her. He has no where to go, except for that mansion where his so called family live, among whom he has no place, so may that's why he is spending his time on roads.

Madhu counted the sum of money, which she collected & also as promised sikky gave her the money which mukund took from her. She has sufficient to manage her needs. Keeping the money in her bag, she walks outside the pub. She didnt saw Rk waiting outside, and she walk past him.

"Suno.." Rk called her as he stops her, walking to her. Madhu's eyes rounded in shock seeing him there. She turn on her heels to flee away, when he blocks her way standing in front of her.
"Relax, i means no harm.." He told her gently.
"U are following me ?" She questions him timidly, clutching her bag close to her chest.
"No.. I met u coincidently" rk replied.
"I dont talk to strangers, please let me go" she plead, to which he chuckled softly, Imagining, her saying the same line to the stranger who in any way means to harm her. Would the stranger leave her, if she request him.. Ha !!
"But strangers can talk to u right !" Rk's lips curved into smirk.
"See, i have nothing to give u... Please leave me" she said softly, and scared. This strange man who met her last night is now time passing with her. What he wants.
"I didnt held u yet, and i haven't asked anything from u yet" he clarify calmly.
"What do u want then ?" She looks at him.
"Nothing.. Just wanted to tell u that, u sings real well.. Beautiful.. Soul touching" he spoke, as madhu gawks at him.
"Ohh.." Thats what she replied "can i go ?"
Rk couldnt hide the smile flash on his face "yes"
Nodding her head, she begins to walks, when he offers.
"Can i drop u ?"
"No.." She instantly replied turning at him & then walk away as he kept looking at her.

(How did this happen)"

Madhu sings the lyrics, as usual standing on stage, like every other day. She raised her eyes, ahead to look at the usual spot where every other day she found him in hoodie, sitting on tool, with drinks, staring at her. After that day, he didnt bother her, he just silently kept staring at her, or some times talks to her casually, just hey, hello, but between all these, she stopped feeling the threat from him. She realised that he meant no harm to her.
But, tonight his place is vacant, he didnt came tonight. She wonder why ?
As she continue singing !

"Aaye le jaaye itni si iltajaa
(May it come and take this small request of mine)

Yeh meri zamaanat hai
(This shall be my release)

Tu meri amaanat hai... Aaa...
(You are my fidelity)"

She ended & then looks up, this time her eyes caught his. She finds him in his usual place, but with blood strains on his forehead, his dress with creases. She frowns at him, while he break the eye contact & ordered a drink for himself.

"Blood.." Rk took the glass to his lips, but before he could sip on, he hears her soft voice next to him. He turn his head sideways, to find her nervously standing before him. He raised her eyebrows at her.
"Ur forehead.. Its bleeding" she points at his forehead. Listening to her, he touched his forehead & find the sticky blood on his finger.
"Oh, i didnt realise" he said as he shrugged it off.
"We have first aid box, can..i.. Can i bring it ?" She asked fidgeting with her fingers.
"I have one in my car" he said looking at her.
"Okk" madhu said. Rk thought she would go away but she kept standing. Oh, he remembers as he draws out his wallet for money.
"Noo.." She instantly said before he could tip her.
"Then ?" He furrowed his eye brows in confusion.
"Blood is still oozing out, u will get infection" she spoke, and that when he realised she was waiting for him to treat his wound. His stares at her, as someone after ages noticed his wound. He climbs down the tool & was going to walk when he stumbled, feeling pain on his leg. His ankle got twisted, and he came limping here.
But before he could lose his balance, he feels a soft frame balancing him, her one hand on her chest, and other on backside of his shoulder. He looks at her in daze. Feeling his gaze on her, madhu looks at him, her eyes were soft.
"Sorry.." She starts backing away as she feel the contact between their bodies. Rk didnt said anything, and limping he step ahead as she followed him.

He opened His car, and draws out the first aid box. There are bruise on his hands too, as he looks confused on where to apply medicine first.
"If u say.. Can i.." She point at the box in his hand. He nodded his head, and they sat on an old bench a lil away from the pub's entrance.
Madhu took the cotton ball & starts dabbing it on his forehead ever so lightly.
"Is it paining much ?" She asked while blowing air on his wound. He looks at her, as she nurse his wound.
"No, it used to hurt but now no more.." He replied dispassionately. His inner self is so wounded that these external wounds dont matter. Madhu looks at him, not getting his meaning.
"Ur headlight is broken !" Madhu commented after dressing his wound.
"My headlight ?" Rk chuckled softly.
""I mean ur car's headlight" she corrected herself, & rk spares a look at his car.
"Oh, yeah.. It got banged on a tree"
"How ?" She probes.
"A dog came in middle of road, and i wasn't paying attention..soo.."
"Soo, u killed it ?" Madhu gasped taking a step back from him.
"No.." He frowned "to save it, i turned the steering & it got banged against a tress"
"Ohh" she uttered as she again came near him & took his hand on hers, putting medicines on his hand.
"Leave it, it dont pain" he took his hand back.
"Unhealed wound hurts" she said to which rk laugh sarcastically.
"There is nothing left. My life is a failure"
"Unless one accept defeat, one cant be a failure, falling & standing up again is sign of one's being alive.
And till the day one is breathing, life is worth living." She spoke, as rk looks at her.
"Can u see that watchman bhaiya" madhu points at the middle age watchman of the pub.
"He used to drink & smoke, then few months ago, he was detected with lungs deviation, he has a small boy & a wife. His life is at threat, yet he is collecting his life, though he has nothing, yet he is starting from scratch.. And u have eveything, yet u are pitying urself." She stands, as rk process her words. By his apppearance she can guess that he belongs to wealthy family.
"I have nothing.. Am nothing.. I have no one to call myself as my own" he sternly looks at her.
"Noone has everything which they desire for, but it depends on them to find happiness in whatever lil the life offers. One just need to process it & live in it. Life is for living, not for mourning." She said while keeping the contents back in box.
"And, no one is born perfect. If u work on, then only u will be something from nothing. Just crying over fate wont give u anything.
Darkness cant drive away darkness, only light can !
Same way pushing urself more into darkness, wont reduce ur pain. Step out once, look out in light, u will find the reason to live" she smiled as him as she turns to go, while he looks at her speechless.
"But there again, u have to fight for it. Unless u take a stand for urself, no one else can help u. Unless u love ur life & wants to live, no one else can make it worth living for u"
She lowers her eyes, as she walk away from there, while he kept thinking about what she said.

Is anything worth preserving ? Worth looking for ? Living for ?
But, unless he came out in open how will he know, whats around him. He is ready to fight, but is there anything to fight for ??

With lots of questions & no answers, for first time without touching the drinks, he made his way back to his mansion.

Except, the musical theme, this concept is different, though it is inspired from Ashiqui2 movie :)

Congrats aani for new story. .
superb start. .
rk is broken, alone man. .no one care him. .
for reducing for pain he come pub and drink. .
rk lost his mother when he was 10. ..and mohan think radha died because of rk. .
poor rk he lost both mother and father. ..
dipali. ..hate her..also she betrayed rk also and choose sultan. .
no one care rk ..
he have so much inner pain ..the outer wound didn't give him pain. ..
madhu is singer. ..she do part time job for her mother treatment. .
madhu nurse his wound ..
after listening madhu words. .rk went his mansion with out drinking. ..

Omg! New story.So RK wud b a singer here orlaunch his own music company and madhu too as a singer.Thank god!Its nothing like aashiqui 2.

poor rk lost his mother when he was only 10 😭

madhu is such a nice girl 😊..

& the way he nursed him..loved it..

as u told that this story is inspired from film aashiqui 2 i have a request plz dont kill rishab or madhu at last & plz give a happy ending to this story dont give a heart broking ending dear aan..

Congrats for new story,
Superb part,
poor Rk feeling bad for him,,
his father blamed him for his mother's death,
he not only lost his mother but he lost his father too,
Dipali left him becoz he is not successful person and chosen Sultan,
Mohan loves Sultan more than Rk,
Madhu is a singer,she works in pub as a part time job,
loving Madhu and loved what Madhu said,
loved the last part hope he quits drinking,
hope he fights for living and become more successful,
