He's better than the likes of fakes like Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra who have their set of favourites they are extremely biased about

Rangan is my favorite too, but it's slim pickings out of the terrible BW critics & he can kind of get fixated.

He's also the only critic who understands SLB (probably better than SLB himself bc SLB is still pretending Mastani was a good performance)

Yes he is one objective critic. Doesnt criticize or praise a movie just based on a star or director. Usually he gives a neutral opinion. Anupama and Masand are total sell out. Especially Masand for most big films.

Yea he's one excellent critic. You can see he understands films & vision.

This. No human can be completely objective. Every critic has their fav directors/actors.

For Rangan they are Bhansali and Imtiaz 😆

I love reading his reviews, whether I share his POV or not. Particularly when he gets mad and rips a movie apart😆
