Any of you, who thinks my recommendation matter, watch today's episode. It had a tight script and excellent nuances (my favourite kind). I can go over each and every scene in detail. But it was an exciting episode to watch.
There is a saying that, "You see the world with the glasses you wear."
That means, if someone is dishonest, they will think everyone else is cheater.
If one is hypocrite, they will think everyone else is out to deceive them.
If one is a criminal, they always fear that everyone else is the same.
That is proven in today's episode.
Dev asks Vicky to investigate who is doing illegal trade in his office. Vicky blames Sonakshi for implanting those papers.
Me: Oh that makes sense. The man who once stole from you is now the CEO of your company and you are asking him to investigate fraud. Why don't you just hand over the keys to your home and company now since you handed over your brain? You could not investigate the fraud yourself? Even this much work is too much for you and you have to delegate? I thought only household chores were beneath a busy man's honour to do.
At school Soha goes to the principal complaining about Golu. The principal says she is lying. Why? Well, vanishing ink. The famous trick.
Me: Golu is smart Soha. He is using tricks. You tried to use your mother's honest approach. Now copy Golu and use his tricks. Tricksters can't be defeated by honesty. You have to handle them with their own medicine. Ask your mother how she handled her personal bully.
Ishwari meets Asha in the market. Asha being the person who always have to be goody two shoes, even to the women who treated her daughter like crap, tries to be friendly with her and asks her what's wrong.
Ishwari gets her opening that she was looking for and tells her that Sona did wrong by bringing IT raid in her son's company.
Asha tells that she didn't know. Ishwari tells Asha that it seems they don't know anything.
Asha finally realises that Ishwari is taunting her. Then she stood up for her daughter and replied her back with the same taunt.
Asha tells her that she doesn't interfere in her daughter's matter. Ishwari tells her that Sonakshi is trying to re-enter Dev's life and she regrets ever being their relative and expecting support from Asha. They have no relationship between them.
Me: Funny Asha. You got taunted and then you realised how it feels to be insulted and replied back. Until now you were trying to be best buddies with Ishwari who you very well know how she treated your daughter. Tell me Asha, how did it feel to be taunted very mildly? Now imagine what she suffered and to what extent at that home for which you still have no sympathy at all. Even Ishwari came to fight with you for her son and you tried to be buddies with her. I don't know what kind of mother you are, Asha. But even an animal attacks when someone tries to harm their offspring.
And Ishwari, nooo... Please say it isn't so. I mean Bose family is DYING to re-enter Dixit hellhole. Please give them another chance to be victim of you and your family's insults, taunts and torture. They missed it sooo much... You know like Ranveer is queuing up outside your home begging for another chance? Sonakshi must be right behind him... *SNORT*
Sonakshi gives an explanation to Asha on why she doesn't want to move. Asha supports Sonakshi and wants to tell Sonakshi what Ishwari has told her. But Sonakshi told her not to pay attention to what others say.
Me: Yes, Asha. Now show loyalty. After your insult, then you recalled that your daughter was treated badly. That's exactly why you don't deserve your fiercely loyal family who can fight the world if they dare to upset you.
Sonakshi goes to Dev's house and tells him that he is still hiding behind his mother and sent his mother to speak for him again.
Dev gets angry and confronts Ishwari. He tells her to stay out of his life and to not interfere.
Mamaji tells him to talk to his mother with respect, Dev tells him that he has shown enough respect in 28 years.
Me: Woh kya kaha tha apne Ishwari ji? Insaan apni izzat khud kamata hain aur khud gawata bhi hain. Yep. Just a reminder.
Dev leaves and Mamaji tries to console Ishwari and she says that Asha didn't understand the duty of a mother and that Bose family has ruined her family's happiness.
Me: *SNORT* Asha doesn't know the duty of a mother. You know the duty of a mother. That's why everyone of your children have mental and emotional issues and hang ups they can't get over it. Your son is suffering and taking solace in alcohol and blames you for ruining his life. Yes, I know. Kuch Rang Delusions ke Aise Bhi...
Sonakshi is working late. Dev hears on the news that there is an earthquake alert. He calls his office and asks if his employees evacuated the building. They tell him that they have (I thought his office was sealed. What was his employees doing there?). Dev hesitatingly asks about Sona's office. They tell him that everyone left except Sonakshi.
Dev rushes there and tells Sonakshi to leave. Sonakshi doesn't believe him at first and tells him to leave her office. But, Sonakshi still believes him later without much persuasion and says that she has to make a call. Dev gets impatient.
Then earthquake strikes and Dev forcefully carries Sonakshi out (the spoiler). But of course there is an eyelock (gotta be) and Sonakshi's shocked face looking at Dev's melting in a puddle face and background music plays.
Me: Haila. There's the Dev 1.0. I thought he went on a permanant vacation. Hallelujah!!!
I am happy to know that despite being betrayed, she has not lost her trust completely. Sonakshi, no wonder Dev can't get over you.
Sonakshi pushes Dev away. Male ego jaag utha.
Dev says that he didn't save her because he cares for her. Only he will hurt her. Not God, not earthquake. It's only his right.
Me: Aaannnddd, the Dev 2.0 is back... Lasted about two seconds... Yaar, itna mat uro, ki zameen pe giro to haddiya toot jaaye. Baad mein naa yeh sab attitude nigalne mein bahut problem hogi.
Dev walks away in anger. Sonakshi glares at his back.
Precap: Dev is beaten up and he calls Sonakshi for help. She hesitantly takes his call and thinks if that's a trick.
Me: Bhaiya ji. Aap ko Sonakshi ko hurt karna hain. Lekin doobte waqt aapko wohi yaad aati hain. Aapke pyaari family yaad nehin aati. Speed dial pe uska no. daalke rakhha hain kya like an emergency contact?
Akshay Kumar ne kahan tha naa, dard hone par insaan maa maa hi chillata hain? Aapko dard hone par aap Sona Sona chillate ho. Phir bhi aapki akal mein yeh baat nehin aati ki agar Sona darling ek ishaara kare, aap apne boriya bistar bandh ke uske ghar mein shift ho jaoge?
