Hello all, welcome to the prep thread for Sriti's 31st birthday coming up on Feb 26th!

Suggestions and contributions of all kinds are welcome.

Messages for Sriti can be posted on this thread and will be collected for the first page of her birthday thread.

All submissions are needed by Feb 25th at the latest!

GIFTS FOR SRITI

If you want to send a gift item to Sriti, India Forums has made an arrangement! Here are the details:

Last date to send in is 20th February - gifts must arrive by Feb 20th to be included.

Another option: as we all know, Sriti believes in doing good for the world. If you want to celebrate her by making a donation to a worthwhile cause, you can still contribute to last year's project, OR you can make a donation anywhere of your choice. PM -mina- with the details and we will make a message to share with Sriti about everyone's charitable efforts inspired by her.

BIRTHDAY THREAD SIGN UPS & STRUCTURE

Here is a guide to what we need for the thread - feel free to make different suggestions or volunteer for something else! If you would like to take care of one or more of the following, please post on this thread and I will add your name 😊

WRITING

*can be any style - paragraphs, bullet points, creative script, etc*

Intro - why do we have a bday thread for Sriti (300 words or less)
Bio - short (200-400 words) description of Sriti's life and career
Character Sketches - Short descriptions of each of Sriti's roles (2-6 sentences each)

Due date for all writing pieces: Feb 24th

GRAPHICS & VIDEO

Banner maker - making up to 8 different header graphics (approx 500px by 180 px but the size can be different if the graphiccer wishes); can be animated or non-animated =SOWMII
Edits makers - making beautiful or funny bday edits featuring pictures of Sriti (we need MANY/variety of edit makers so feel free to volunteer no matter your skill level!) =SOWMII; MAHI;
VM makers - would be amazing to have ANY bday VMs for Sriti, your creativity is the limit 😊 =SONYA & Russian Group; NIVE; SAM; SOWMII
Gif header maker - would be amazing to have an animated header for the thread. Open to suggestions for content and size. =SARA; MAHI
Any additional graphics, video or drawing contribution you would like to make! =MAGGIE (Sketches)

COLLECTING & RESEARCH

Praises for Sriti - a list of minimum 8 quotes from costars, friends, etc who have said nice things about Sriti as a person or as an actor; can also collect related images if you wish =SONYA
Sriti's favourite things - collecting or creating images of minimum 6 favourite things that Sriti likes, eg travel destinations, fav foods, etc. The idea is to summarize what things are special for Sriti as we hope she gets to have lots more of these positive experiences in her life for her birthday and beyond. =SONYA
GIFs or Clips collector - find or make minimum 12 gifs or clips (can be a mix of both) of our favourite Sriti moments, including any highlights from her current or past shows =NAINA; SOWMII
Message collector - copy all of the messages posted on this thread and PM in one to three PMs to mina, arranged by alphabetical order of names (special deadline: Feb 25th) =NAINA
Any additional task or category you may want to do!

Due date for all research contributions: Feb 22nd

FORMATTING & PINCHHITTERS/ANGELS
It would be amazing to have a few names of anyone who could help at the last minute if needed - either with formatting the front page or with doing any miscellaneous task. If you are able to do this, you can post on the thread or PM me - you may or may not have anything to do but it would be greatly helpful to know you're there to help if needed!!

Mina, thanks😊 I already think I can help with some things as me and my friends did that last year for her birthday for her Russina fan group, I mean this:

1. Praises for Sriti - a list of minimum 8 quotes from costars, friends, etc who have said nice things about Sriti as a person or as an actor; can also collect related images if you wish

2. Sriti's favourite things - collecting or creating images of minimum 6 favourite things that Sriti likes, eg travel destinations, fav foods, etc. The idea is to summarize what things are special for Sriti as we hope she gets to have lots more of these positive experiences in her life for her birthday and beyond.

I will make searches in my files and I wll let you know what we have.

At this point it would help most to sign up for one or more specific tasks. For the whatever is needed spirit, I won't be able to tell you until like Feb 20th. Thank you for activating the stalker skills 😆

Thank you Sonya! I was remembering that the Russian fan group made a video last year, I think? It would be amazing to have anything like that, or any contributions from any of Sriti's Russian fans. Thanks for looking into the two items, you can PM me what you have or post it on the thread whenever you wish 😃
