For me more than morals of a hero, the integrity of the way the makers tell me the story matters.
And their intentions when they trade it off.
In ZKM, I'm pissed with two things presently,
1) Shauire as a shrewd business man never bothered to strike a deal with Mehak for her book&skills.
That takes off the sheen of his character as a self made businessman.He chose to cheat without ever trying.🤢

2)Their attempt to show that Shaurie is unaware of the depth of his feelings for her.Why show his tears& monologues, if they wanted me to guess?

I have no problem in accepting the hero as a ruthless & cunning businessman if that's how he had been shown from beginning.
They kept stringing him as someone true to his craft, and then showing him stoop this low is silly.

as I've been saying in my other post as well, their intention seems to make it more entertaining and I do appreciate their creativity. I've not seen a FL stake her claim based on an ancient tradition.😆

There's no rule in my book that says good people should marry only good people, it doesn't happen in real life and i don't expect it in reel life.
If Mehak chooses to fight and try to reform a man who cheated her it's her choice, I don't see anything regressive in it.She is trying to mold him to her value system which worked for her and Shaurie has a system that works for him.
I think, we form our values based on our exposure & seeing the kind of role models Sha had while growing up,I'm not surprised he turned out as he did.
He is like his Dad in business and his Mamoo in his eccentricity and has Karuna's people skills.If they want, they make the real Shaurie now by making him come of his own,out of the shadows of all these people.

@patsy I am ok with your theory.. infacttill last Thursday.. I too held exactly the same opinion but my problem is like Sims says why would you not let the viewers in the game why confusing and contradictory monologues.. if I have to believe that it is the latest epi which holds value then they have negated everything they made us believe about Shaurya
And how will SK help Mehak's future if she as per his advice gets married believing that her recipe book is now owned by SK
Why would not he let her in the plan.. he is leaving her vulnerable to negative influences
What if Mehak did not react the way she did.. what if like any other person she would have wowed vengeance against SK?
If he believes Mehak
Understands him the best why not
Make her a a partner in his plan
How is he protecting her ?? his enemies are still his enemies.. right if they kill him today.. and no one is wiser about the right owner ship of recipies / restaurant..
Let us say he told the lawyers to tell at some later date .. again Mehak may be a sitting duck if she does not know about it and the enemies do..
So do not even get me started about the logic of his plan of any.. I can

The most logical answer to all our questions is the crew was happily shooting in Delhi .. shaping up
A beautiful show.. and then ST comes down from Mumbai with his trademark twist.. keeping all
Logic aside .. butchers the hero who was BTW shaping into a landmark ML
On ITV and bam ...

After watching Shauire last night, am beginning
to feel it'll be good for my peace of mind to let go of the idea that he had

about Shaurie is coming true.! Well done! 👏Watch the way he turns away
from Mehak's hawk eyes while talking about relationships breaking as a norm.

I have to alter the image of Shaurie being a
decisive and honest business man and buy that he's a cheat with serious
unresolved trust issues. Since the intention of the Cvs seems to
entertain me, I'm cool to do that. Just practice more present moment awareness.

I loved the face-off between Mom & son. I always
thought his relationship with his Mom was the only honest one he had in his
life and he would never drag her to the dirt with him, but seems he just did. If
there was any other reason he's not giving away.

Anyway, I don't care; I've deleted the images of a
crying Shaurie who locked himself in the room. If you're able to do, you might enjoy
the coming episodes.

cute in red and with those diamond studs and KV looks like a BW villain talking
about SR!

P.S-In an unconnected incident, I bought a skirt
with animal prints and in the shop the figure looked like a horse and now when
I'm wearing, it looks like a donkey. Still comfy tho'😆

Yea the Gandharav vivah thing is absolutely a nice touch. Its different from all other shows. I am hoping it turns out for a good cause. If they portray Mehek to be super smart and can beat SK at his own game, it will be sheer entertainment.

I don't want a subservient Mehek at any cost...don't ruin her CV..please don't... 😆
