revive
verb
past tense: revived; past participle: revived
  1. restore to life or consciousness.

Out of all the things she knew to be true, she knew that she was not at fault and that she was going to make Rishi realize this very fact. She had never wanted anything more than to see Rishi happy and as an extension, his family too. Why would she ever want to hurt him and his family? She only had the most purest of thoughts for them but was misundetstood and misinterpreted. Unfortunately for her she was tied to some evil people by birth and she had no way around it -- but she made sure that day to show those people their places.

Now that Rishi had yet again been forced to remove her from his life, this time over something more serious than ever before, she made her decision to leave. She wrote him a letter which exposed her deepest feelings and hoped that he would read it and understand her. She took with her all the memories that she had made, some good some bad, and took her final steps outside of the one place she was able to call her home.

Rishi was trying to be strong in front of his family, but Manpreet and Ahana knew that there was immense pain brewing inside him by the second. They knew they had to convince him otherwise because they did not want to see him spiralling into the abyss one more time. Yuvraj informed that they could all go home and so they did.

They all returned and before Rishi could make his way in, Ahana stopped him.

"What if Tanuja is inside, what will you say to her?"

"I won't say much to her. I'll tell her to leave us and go far away without meeting Mom."

"How long will you keep up the facade?" She asked him. "You are going through pain and we know it."

"Pain? Pain has been a part of my life forever. It has been my companion in the darkest and loneliest of times. When Tanu wasn't here, pain was by my side. I'm used to it. But look at Mom and her condition. That's a pain I cannot take. I will do anything but I won't leave my family. I love all of you and for you I will sacrifice my love if I have to. You know that Mom hated Tanu but I believed that if I married her, I could one day convince my mom of how nice she is. But with Tanuja, there has always been immense hate. It's a lost cause even trying to make her believe in Tanuja." He lamented.

Tanuja felt like she had to prove to Rishi and the family that she meant no harm. She did not orchestrate any of what transpired the previous day. She could not even think of doing anything like that to them let alone succeed. As she started to make her way, tears rolling from her face, she came into contact with a truck and was flung back into the air.

She was hit hard, but as her body descended onto the ground, it was as if there was a major change happening inside her. A big haystack broke her fall, preventing her from badly injuring herself. The impact, however, affected her soul.

Rishi went to his room and noticed the letter placed beneath his photo frame. He picked it up and began to read.

Rishi,

I write you this letter as I am about to leave this home for good. With a heavy heart I say that I did not do any wrong and I hope that you can forgive me. I never meant to harm any of you. But I know you are hurt and I hope you can understand me. I know what family means to you. I lost mine but you have your mom and I would never want to tear that relationship apart. Your mom means so much to you and I respect that. I just hope you know that I have only ever truly loved you. You are and will forever be in my heart and my soul. The times that we spent together were precious and timeless. I am yours and always will be. I hope that you will not forget about me. You won't forget me right? I hope that you will one day gain true happiness and know that that's all I've ever wanted for you.

Yours forever,

Tanu

Her inner Tanu was awakened. Flashes, sparks, bright lights, visions of the past.

She saw it all. The children, the kundli, the temple, running in the field after Rishi, calling out to him, the locket, saving him from his death, being bound together for life, the hugs, the emotions, Rishi's intense love, that meeting under the flickering lamp, the marriage, the union, the gunshot, the blood, the letting go of the hand, the agony and pain of Rishi's face. She saw it all. Her brain was lit up. Her soul sent high voltage shocks to her body. She was coming back to life from the depths of the body she was residing in. What was all this? Why is all this so clear? Why am I being shown all these images? Am I really who I'm being told I am? Could it be...?

Tanu woke from her long slunber. Her spirits rose from the body and she turned to see the still body laying in the temple. She did a double take as she saw her face plastered onto someone else's body. "How!?!" She thought. Am I dreaming or have I finally woken up? Have I finally been able to take over?

She walked a few steps and saw her marriage with Rishi happening before her eyes. She remembers that sweet yet tragic union like it was yesterday. She walked a few more steps to see that tragedy play out before her again. The running away, the panic, the misunderstanding, and the impulsive decision someone made to shoot her to death. Rishi's blood curdling scream rang through her ears again. The temple bells started chiming louder and louder till she could take it no more. She covered her ears to block the noise.

Rishi was going through the same dilemma. He lay on the couch in his room, a routine he was too used to by now. Temple bells rang in his ears despite no temple being nearby. He tossed and turned and tried to block the noise out.

"Where are these temple bells ringing!? We don't even have a temple nearby. Tanuja check the --" he stopped speaking to realize Tanuja was gone. He got up to close the window that brought in a lot of breeze. He heard a small crash and looked back to see a picture of Tanu had crashed onto the ground. He picked up the frame, which now had a lot of broken glass with it. He put his hand on it only for it to get cut. The lights started to flicker.

Why is this happening? What could be the meaning of this?

Tanuja woke up startled. Tanu's soul had been through so much and now, she finally resurrected herself from the shackles of her body. She realized she was in the Kaali Maa temple. She looked at her and walked right up to her and spoke with fervour.

"All that, all of what I saw -- was it all real? Was it all true? It was as if I was reliving all those moments right before my own eyes. It was as if I am--"

"TANU." Katiyani Bai finished her sentence. "Yes, you are Tanu. Your love stood the test of time and proved to be truthful and strong and determined. You have finally returned as Tanu!!" She said to Tanuja.

"I am Tanu! I could see all of it before my eyes! I relived every moment. Every single one of them! I could see everyone, Rishi and everyone else." She turned towards the temple, "This is all true. All of my memories, from my previous life, they've all come to the fore! I saw it all! I know now that I have come back into this world only for Rishi!! That R birthmark I have on my back shoulder is also a sign I took on from my previous life because Rishi is the one attached to me. I remember it all Maa! I remember it all!" She said as she shed happy tears and showered her Maa with flowers. "I am Tanu! I AM TANU!"

Katiyani Bai looked on. She had a smile that was happy to see Tanu back again. But that smile was quickly fading because she had some news that was not going to make anyone delighted.

She said to Tanuja, "You have surely come back for Rishi. To protect Rishi, to be the sole protector and to be there for him. But unfortunately, that is all that you are there for. While you were unconscious I delved deep into your kundli. And I found something that noone bothered to look into. You may have been brought back for Rishi and you may be the one he needs. But you will be there for him to protect him but you will never be able to be with him. Your kundli prevents you from being able to live your life with him. You are meant to be there to be his shield but as soon as you associate yourself with him, there will be chaos in his life. You are meant for each other but you are not meant to be together. Such is the twisted game fate and destiny has in store for you!!!" 😭

-------------------------

Firstly, can I just say wow!!! This week has been just amazing! To see the ultimate story being played out is just super exciting! This is what Kasam is all about! Rishi and Tanu's eternal love story that is forbidden but so magical. We can only imagine what kind of a roller coaster ride these two have been on and the ride keeps giving us the anxious climb and the thrilling drops.

The acting, screenplay, dialogues, and direction of the Tanu Revival sequence were done par excellence. The team really put their effort in and it showed. All the details were cared for and I appreciate that. Especially the minor ones like the R birthmark being mentioned. I'm glad people are paying attention to that. The truck hit and the way she descended into the haystack was amazingly shot. It showed her almost at peace, foreshadowing that Tanu was about to be revived. The editing of all the memories being revived and the added effects really sent all kinds of goosebumps up my arms. Amazing!!!

Sharad and Kratika need to take a bow for their marvellous performances. I don't know how but they keep getting better by the day. 👏

I am so glad we are on the right track with the show and are focusing on the main theme and story. I am liking the interesting revelation of Tanu's kundli dosh and it all makes sense now as to why Tanu had to die the moment she got married to Rishi. And now that Rishi and Tanuja had become intimate, yet again their life has turned upside down. But there has to be a way for them to eliminate this dosh and the process of them figuring this out will be fun to watch!!

Yh true tht TanShi are soulmates but nw acc. KB's words they can't be together,nt meant to be together.. So that's why evn Tanu also had to die saving Rishi.. To Tanu all these kundali dosh were not revealed earlier but nw to Tanuja all are revealed.. 😕And am I right Tanu is Rishi's death saviour.. her kundali has only the power to eliminate marakdosh.. I think that's what you mean to say???

PS: thanks a bunch for thinking beyond the box nd coming up with deeper explanation.. Rose you r truly awesome my dear girl!!! Will drop a comment later coz am completely intrigued by the epi plus confised by KB's words😆

wonderful writeup rose...👏 I really appreciate writers and creative team for such a wonderful episode.. the way each and every small thing was shown with proper explanation...hats off to them...even kraSha as usual nailed it...and thank god the fbs were in colourful manner...all old and sweet memories tanuja got in fb was superb...!!! when rishi read letter he was totally broken from inside as well outside... he could do nothing but just to stand taking pillar's support and cry for the fate he has been given by the god...that is pain of losing your love...not for the first time but for the second time and it broked rishi to the core...!!! while walking towards the bed he recalled how tanuja and him shared sweet and cute moments...her fighting wid him..her teasing him...and the way her dupatta flows over his face...loved it totally... when bell rang he was unable to sleep on couch not in senses that tanuja left and now he can sleep on bed...he asked himself from where this sound is coming and forgetig the reality he turned back to ask tanuja...then noticed she already left...!!! felt really bad... more than anything kb's words irked me...she said last night rishi and tanuja can't be together as husband wife...tanuja is only to save rishi...?? then why firstly she said rishi will born to earn tanu's love...rishi is only one who can touch tanu...??? what those words meant then..?? well I just hope there will be any solution to remove this course...hopefully...!!!!

Heyy all .. thanks so much for the responses!!! I am totally intrigued by the new revelation in Tanu's kundli as well. We always thought about why Tanu was under fire every time and always became Rishi's saviour and why she ultimately had to give up her life to save him. Well now we know the reason!
But the question arises, whose kundli has dosh? Tanu or Tanuja? And the answer is Tanu. Bare with me as I try to dissect this. I think ... in order to eliminate the dosh, TanShi might have to do one of the following:

1) let Tanu go; by this I mean they might have to let her soul be free. I know we may all say well Tanu's soul is Tanuja's soul but not completely. Tanu's soul is only now coming to the fore. Her memories have overlapped and now Tanuja's has been pushed back. Do I make any sense? Maybe they will have to do some prayers or try and set her free so that the dosh is gone.

2) They can eliminate the dosh by doing some sort of prayer that KB tells them to (but I know that's too easy lol)

3) They may have to spend time apart to eliminate the dosh. Which I feel will already happen because Tanu being Tanu will not want Rishi's life to be in danger and will stay away from him. But just as before she will have to keep coming in front of him to save him. Destiny and fate has really played a game with them!!

This is so interesting guys... I'm so glad we're going crazy over this lol!!! It'll be so exciting to watch just how they eliminate this dosh to be together at last!

O Rose... Am really sorry I'm into so many questions! One more stupid question hun..😆😕
btw as you pointed out about letting go about Tanu's soul, ie. freeing her soul ... so will it make Tanuja is only Tanuja? no Tanu in her? So all of her memories about Tanu that she has regained will fade away? Mmm Tanu's soul along with the kundali dosh will affect their way? Am confused.. What you said as solutions for the elimination of the dosh can be possible with the upcoming twists! I predict 3rd option together with 2nd one might be the one they will come up with! 😉😆 The first one, actually I've no idea about it..😕( coz I personally prefer Tanu than Tanuja.. so letting go of her soul I don't like though.. o don't kill me yaar😆) but if the story requires it as a solution, never mind about it too!😛

Anyway Let's see what will be the ultimate remedy for her kundali dosh! It'll will be surely way too exciting to see everything will unfold in future! Till then suspense will kill me!😆

Anyways, once again thanks a lot for the well written clarification! Am eagerly waiting to read your reviews in the coming episodes as usual! You always entwine each episode with things related to the show's actual concept, which makes em worth reading for sure!! Thanks so much for it!😊

Needless to say, your magical review is beyond extraordinary!! 👏Loved every bit of it, so did I with the epi! The epi was literally intriguing till the last minute! A Beautifully scripted, finely executed one! & each scene was well portrayed by both KS n SM !👏👏 Kudos to one & all who made it to be such a visual treat, from CVs, to screenplay writers, to cinematographers, to director, to actors..👏⭐️

Of course, all excited to see what will Tanu-Rishi's fate have in store for them! Can't wait for more!!

PS : Am sorry if I've bothered you asking a lot of questions though!😆
