Shaurya's rushing into the burning house for Mehak's family & Mehak running after him does signify the depth of their feelings for one another,clay becomes stronger once it goes through(baking)fire,they both are facing the ordeal together,their relation will strengthen further.

Mehak already has all that matters to her,(despite her house burnt down) her family, her treasure box of memories and her man by her side..the real wealth is really in things that money can't buy.

As you mentioned...he has already done his "agneepariksha"...and he no more needs to prove himself...! He truly loves and heartedly wants Mehek to become his soulmate...! As for promo...it's not necessary, that he's shown drowning and his life is at stake...! Cvs can still take another route to show him in danger...like they did with the apologizing and break-up wedding promos...! ⭐️
