Journey with CID

Hi friends,

I have been a regular viewer of the show since 2007... I was in class VII at that time...Eventually I became a huge fan of Daya Sir.. I had a Facebook profile long ago but it is deactivated now...I had kept the cover pic of my fb a/c of daya sir...My Mobile's wallpaper has been daya sir sometimes... I don't know but he has some kind of uniqueness which made me his fan...Nonetheless I am also a fan of the full CID team, Aditya Sir, Shivaji Sir, Dr.Salunkhe, Tarika, etc..I also used to like Sachin Sir I mean Rishikesh but he left the show abruptly.. I wish Sony still gives the show a chance and it runs on air... Fingers crossed for it 😊

I would love to... but these days I am not finding any time for myself.

Still... my journey... though I have mentioned it on this forum so many times, I think many of you weren't here back then, so repeating.

Started watching in 1998 when I was channel surfing and suddenly saw Ashutosh Gowarikar and I am generally fond of crime based stuff, i started watching cid.

I became a fan of Daya after Missing Bullet and got further hooked to it after stolen dynamite and became crazy about Abhi and his brooding, fiery personality.

From 2004-07, i missed it for various reasons and when I started watching it again, it was Poison in the air... the one with vivek inhaling carbon pentoxide. I used to watch it on and off from then. then came behrupiya... and my entry into India forums as part of my work. I found it fun to be a silent member and read the posts.

After that they started the grand CID rerun period and i got to see the golden era episodes again and also the ones I had missed in between. I couldn't remain a silent member, so I registered started speaking out. I made some friends here , got inspired by some members and started writing stories and even some vms. Discovered the creative side of myself which I never knew existed😳


Now I am very busy with work and just find time to catch up on what's happening on the show and say hi to my fellow CID crazy fans, who understand my craze for CID and trio... something no one from my real world understands 😆

All good things end. even we will leave this world one day but we don't keep saying farewell or brood over it everyday.

When the show ends, let it... till then why think about it? honestly the episodes are much better than last couple of years. no OTT these days. let's watch them and enjoy while it's there.

Well, I am just a fan started loving CID blindly, after watching Abhijeet speaking in Tamil 😆

When I watched AKAKR in Tamil, I really wanted to know about it and started visiting IF for written updates...

At one point, in my vacation I really got bored and just peeped in to say Hi...

Now I spend most of my time here since eight months... Even more than my real life...

I missed a long journey of 18 years, but now I just have a glimpse of it...

But now I'm really sad to know the current situation...

Coincidentally, I came here after CID started facing struggle in regular airing and it continues...

I'm badly missing few members here... I don't want to mention their name... I am still in search of my passion... Once I get it, I will be happy no matter what happens... Just wish me...

I am four days older than CID but I'm in no mood to celebrate it...

I have to leave the forum with a heavy heart...

Coincidently I have a similar story, the only difference being I saw Abhijeet speaking in Telegu on MAA tv. AKAKR seemed interesting and my curiosity about what was going on lead me to discover IF in early 2012. I started watching CID in late 2011. I was never a regular viewer, but love watching just any episode with good Abhijeet scenes. I am not leaving the forum till each and every person gets permanently inactive. 😊

All CID fans, the episodes these days are really very very good. Shridhar sir is back and we are getting good quality cases. He has also himself mentioned on Twitter that the telecast issues will be resolved soon and they are some good stories already lined up. So I don't think it is the end yet. Also lots of fans are tweeting to Sony daily for CID. Shridhar sir and shivaaji sir have also liked and re tweeted many of our tweets. So we still have many more episodes and good ones for sure..
