One thing missing in BB from earlier season is

Authority
Rule of Law
BB absolute power
Fear of BB

I noticed earlier there was some sort of discipline ..people feared BB. BB could evict people. Was more involved...was more in the game. There was a fear among participants. There was sense of fairness

With passing time BB is losing its that charm and becoming a delinquent show where tasks are all over the place, no reprimand, no one gets evicted..if anything many come back, the captain is just in name...

And now I am reading Salman has thrown out one..fine..she was bad and all but again why was she brought in? why was she promoted? thru which law was she thrown out

I know this is not some government ..though governments are not much to talk about also in this part of the world but still..rules niyam asool make things interesting

Its free for all..its WWE..where anything can happen as long as its suits trp.

BB from next season should uphold to their serious format as that in itself generates fun and keeps it interesting

This approach can give you satisfaction in some cases but overall aint good.

I was just thinking about this hippo. It's good that priyanka has been evicted/thrown out but who gave Salman Khan the authority to throw her out? What happened to "only public decides who stays and who*gets evicted rule'? Also on what basis was she brought back in the first place if she'd been evicted when voting lines were open? Is this the value of public votes? There is no order. No clear set of rules. Every captain has different powers. One captain has power to punish another can directly nominate.
This season is such a mess.

I agree this season has been messy and dirty. And I also agree that the fear of BB has gone, even the scoldings from Salman was getting predictable. So what was different this year? Were the contestants at fault? The answer is NO. The one who is responsible is Bigg Boss himself or rather the creative team. Right from the show the trouble makers were encouraged, infact called the biggest entertainers. Can't blame the contestants if they start feeling indispensible, The biggest fault was BB's impotency to take strict actions, I also feel no one should be allowed get back in the show, thru wild cards or even family emergencies, it changes the entire dynamics of the games.

I agree. BB has become a jungle raj. No fear of law or punishment. Even the punishment awarded is too little, too late.
And Pri was definitely the most disgusting thing to be ever brought on the show but who gave Salman Khan the authority to kick her out? And why bring her back in the first place if she had been already evicted based on public voting? 🤬

No rules nothing. BB is openly doing what it wants - favouritism for a particular contestant, kicking out contestants according to his will and bringing them back on his own whims and fantasies. 👎🏼

on point observation 👏 i used to enjoy a certain predictability in earlier seasons like
1. Captain's power in nomination: should be towards end of captaincy so people have a reason to listen to the captain
2. nominations in confession room.. tasks for nominations just dont capture the politics and personal dynamics
3. Big bomb by evicted contestant
4. Clear cut evictions, not this bus stand where people come and go frequently
5. more hms and less promotions/random BS in WKW.

BB saved her despite getting the least votes. But now the makers brushed off all responsibilities. The season definitely looks like there are no rules at all.

This is a very astute observation and I completely agree Hippo. In the earlier seasons, there was a real fear of BB and hence, rules were strictly followed. Like in the Tanna season, they all harped on and on about 'hinsa/ violence' b/c it was against the rules and they all believed that going against the rules =automatic dismissal.

I think last year's group really cemented the powerlessness/ disrespect to BB. Mandana especially comes to mind. Not only did she get away scott-free with violence, but she'd also take off her mike and the minutest things and get away with it with no repercussions from BB. The same is happening this year with Priyanka and Om. The two get away with tons of shit, all in the name of entertainment.

I agree with you, the authority/ fear of BB needs to come back. In general, the show needs to go back to being more fair than it is now. The scales are heavily tipped in the favour of some HMs and its so unfair. BB needs to lay down the law and kick out/ severely punish those who do not comply.
