Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are almost done with their shooting schedules for Imtiaz Ali's next. The film will be wrapped up in January with a few days patchwork left.

Yet another love story from Imtiaz, this was tentatively titled The Ring. Now, the makers have decided to change the name. There was a lot of hullabaloo about the film's name on Twitter as well.

Finally the film has got its title. And it's called Rahnuma. This also goes with the story since Rahnuma means a guide in Hindi and SRK plays a guide in the film.

A couple of weeks back, Salman Khan surprised us by revealing the first look of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's upcoming movie on his Twitter timeline, in what we label as a friendly gesture by Bhai towards his mooh-bola bhai. In the same tweet, he revealed the release date to be the Independence Day Weekend next year, i.e. 11th August, while also saying that it was his choice of date. But he also said that the title is still not decided and the fans should decide the name for the same. So started a huge furore on social networking sites as to what the name of the movie should be, including the stars themselves like Shah Rukh Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Anushka Sharma and even Alia Bhatt joining in. Many suggested titles were thrown in like Jab They Met or Safarnama, but it looks like they have finally pencilled on a name...

Rahnuma...

In an exclusive report carried by entertainment portal Pop Diaries, the title was revealed to be this Urdu word. Now we have heard about the word Rahnuma in a few Hindi songs. The word actually means to guide, and since Shah Rukh Khan plays a European guide in the movie, the title is actually apt for the movie. What say?

Actress Anushka Sharma says working on her upcoming film, tentatively titled 'The Ring', with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali was an extremely enjoyable experience for her.

This is the third time that the 28-year-old actress is sharing screen space with Shah Rukh after 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', while she is collaborating with Imtiaz for the first time.

Anushka Sharma has recently wrapped up shooting for Imtiaz Ali's next opposite Shah Rukh Khan and has obviously had the time of her life working with the two talented men. According to a leading daily, when asked about her experience, the actress said, "It was a divine experience as they both are incredible at what they do. I share a very good rapport with Shah Rukh so, I was at ease working with him and Imtiaz is a dream director for any actor. I really enjoyed myself."
