Parallel universe A Mehrya FF last chapter and epilogue updated 15/04

so these two made me do the unthinkable ..write something on them.. I have never done this though I have been on the forum for so many years ...( well ok may be years ago I wrote a measly OS on the show I was watching then )

So it shows how much of my mind space , my brain cells and above all my time 😡 😡 these two are occupying .. I tell you ..not fair..
I named it Parallel Universe ..for two reasons
1) I could not think of a better name..if at some time, you guys have a suggestion give it to me
2) it is indeed parallel universe on two fronts..this story sits in my head and will probably be parallel to the show from now on ..secondly it might show what life path could it take if Shaurya does not follow through the supposed revenge...

anyway it is vague at the moment and I am not sure whether I would write it as a series or just this OS..
I have written in English..as I am comfortable in both the languages .but I believe a lot of forum members find it easier in English..
However being a hindi belt girl and the characters based in Delhi ..if you guys find me lapsing into hindi ..just kick me ..oh all right. (just in case anyone of you took it a little bit too seriously.).. ..just poke me... 😉 😉

The mini earthquake entered their room just as the two men were in deep deliberation., lines of worry etching their forehead.
It was late in the night , and Rajeev and Shaurya were still in latter's office deliberating their next step , to overcome the crisis that had arisen because, KD , their toughest and not always fair , rival had stolen a march on them.
Well to be precise he had stolen their concept and their most talented Chef who would have helped them execute that concept.
Shaurya Khanna looked up , with irritation writ in his eyes,. His ill-famous anger was just about to break through , when he saw the source of disturbance .
Banging the door behind her , Mehak Sharma had walked in , displacing two artifacts that were kept close to the door.
Well ...she said ..
Well what . Ms Sharma..,
The anger had been replaced by a smirk . he always found it amusing and cute when in anger , Mehak's face became a little bit more round and her big roshogulla eyes rounder.
Where is my appointment letter ? She asked pouting...
Appointment letter?? ..Rajeev questioned in confusion...
Yes my appointment letter sir, did not you tell me yesterday that you were looking to offer me a job ...
Yes ..but you were supposed to start with KD today .. .. Rajeev reminded her , the sense of betrayal still evident in his tone.
I left that job ..Mehak said impetuously ...
Why ? Shaurya looked smug , but he still could not resist asking
Because ... because ... ummm...I do not think they can handle a talented Chef like me..They give me no creative freedom .. I am supposed to just obey orders of seniors there and not experiment .. I cannot function in such an environment
And here ?? Shaurya's voice had turned low and husky ..
Well here ..Rajeev Sir and ...You ...she could not help but blush as she said that, allow me a lot of freedom and I think I would . LLo..I mean llike working for you ... I mean you both ...
Mehak was a deep shade of crimson , by the time she finished her monologue.
Rajeev was beaming and Shaurya was just staring at her with a deepest sense of affection..oh what nonsense ..no affection ..just satisfaction ...his bet had fallen in the right place.
Well..she said after a few seconds as both men had failed to respond to her ..
"Are you giving me the letter or should I go back to Rattan Chacha..."??
Shaurya snapped back from his reverie..Yes she does look pretty and those lips ..those lips ..but now was not the time to get lost in that pretty face ..
He had so much to plan for , work for ..
This restaurant was one of his biggest dreams, and with a talent like Mehak joining it ,,no one could stop it from being a success..
He quickly dialed in his HR manager...
