Poor Naira. She finally believes and trusts Kartik. But the ironic thing is that Kartik has lost his belief and trust in Kaira.
In yesterday's episode, Kaira were standing on opposite sides of the road. While Naira tells Kartik that she believes he is completely innocent, that she will do anything to get him out of jail, that she won't let anything happen to him, Kartik doesn't want to know. He is hurt and devastated that the one person who he needed to believe him when it mattered most let him down. He doesn't care that now she does believe him. As far as he is concerned, it is too late. Life can do whatever it wants with him because he has given up.
But Naira hasn't. She knows she's messed up. She knows she's hurt Kartik. But she won't give up. She's determined to prove his innocence no matter what she has to do.
I'm really loving Suvarna. What a lovely woman with a big heart. She knows Kartik hates her, but her concern for him is wonderful to see. And no matter how hard Manish shows himself to be on the outside, his weakness is his son. He will do anything to get him back home.
We were introduced to Daadi yesterday. A strong woman who loves her grandson but seems to dislike Suvarna. How easily she blamed Suvarna for keeping the fact that Kartik is in jail, yet didn't blame either of her sons. I'm really looking forward to the back story of the Goenkha's and the complicity of all their relationships within the household.
It's nice to see some of the Singhania's beginning to feel guilty about doubting Kartik but Naitik still seems to be unrelenting. The two fathers are going to be big obstacles in Kaira eventually reuniting.
