What if this track is not about Dev and Sona but Ishwari

We have all racked our brains to decipher why this track was introduced.

Post Dev's fever we have seen Dev be a little more aware of this surroundings and how his family is treating Sona.

What if the Vicky-Eli track is for Dev to understand the root cause of Ishwari's insecurities.

What we have here is another girl... someone who doesn't know their past.

1. Love marriage

2. A Bengali Girl

3. More over she comes from the same family

So far Dev didn't have a benchmark to compare his life to. He also thought Ish didn't like Sona. GKB had an issue with Bangalan... So when all other factors remain the same how two people are treated differently will be the crux of this track.

It will become very evident to Dev that it is not a question of if Sona is an outsider but Dev's wife forever will be.

But what if the entire Saas Bahu relationship is presented in a new light in front of Dev for him to realize that after all this for GKB to accept Elina , Ish can't hold on to the excuse that you guys didn't inform me or give me time to accept.

In that sense GKB got no time to accept. The Bahu just walked in.

With Vicky no one has anything to lose but all their insecurities will come to the forefront when it is the question of Dev and his wife.

Neha will not feel insecure in front of Elina ( She has not yet completed her education is not financially independent)

GKB is insecure only fiancially. Vicky has no money so she doesn't really worry. She will be more worried that Dev will throw her out than Vikcy.

Ish will accept Elina and not see her as competition..

In that case brace yourself. We will see Sona getting upset a number of times till the realization actually hits them.

Wonderful post Divya. Yes the situation is like a mirror image of the first one. But the outcome will be completely different. If I put aside the fact that I don't trust Vicky even a miniscule amount and think that he actually loves Elena ( Leopard and its spots) then I have to agree with you. It will be an eye opener to Dev. You remember a previous conversation between Nikki, GKB and Ishwari? Nikki expected her mother to be the best MIL where as she was teasing GKB regarding her sharp tongue. Here GKB might be more accepting of her DIL and will prove better at it than Ishu.😛

That's exactly the conversation I had in mind Geena.

I always wondered why the comparison as MILs. We all expect GKB to be a bad MIL. as she was a bad mother. But what if irrespective of good or bad Vicky, Elina and GKB share a good rapport.

We have seen GKB with Neha. She genuinely worries about the girl. Her ways may be questionable but she does care.

Nikki mentioned that Ish would be the world's best MIL but we know Ish has miles to go even before she can contest.

We were all looking at what Dev can learn but I think we have already seen the angry avatar of Dev. He will stand up for Sona for sure. He doesn't need to learn from Vicky.

But how to accept someone else's child is something GKB has already done in Neha's case...

This track could be to highlight Ishwari's shortcomings.

oMG ! Ishwari is very competitive ! It will be so much fun to watch her against GKB for the best MIl in the world title. 😆

She is still is lesser evil than Self obsessed, two faced matajee! She had concern for Neha when she suggested her to think more carefully about RV's rishta but Ishwari wanted to get rid of Neha as soon as possible. Although mamijee is a very crass person and comes off as really obnoxious but she is still a better human than Ishwari . Her first reaction at Diwali injury on Sona was to provide first aid unlike Ishwari who started sulking about delay in her program and kept doing it throughout. Insecurity is one thing but if someone gets injured, the first reaction of other humans is to help them. Even animals have more compassion for others than Ishwari's behavior that day.

The Dixit family is going to see a vast difference now as Elena may have respect but she is not Sona so she will answer back at every taunt thrown her way

Ishwari will be much more acceptable to Elena and this will be visable before Dev's eyes he'll start noticing how the two bahu's are treated differently

I do think a lot of realizations will come to open before the eyes of the family members now that Elena is there

GKB is mean but I always feel with her what you see is what you get.
