Just managed to catch up on the episode...I see the forum is in major depression over Shivaay's "taandav"😆😆.

Me, as usual I'm probably laughing at things that the makers weren't intending as comedy😆.

1) Anika telling herself not to get involved in the mess created by Billu but her dil pighloing when that RIcha girl contemplates killing herself...uske baad comes standard TRP good girl waali spiel of shaadi being such a pyara rishta and peeps not valuing ek chutki sindoor anymore😆😆...the constant terrified expression on Richa's face was really cracking me up😆.

2) Shivaay's rant at Anika over why she always messes up his plans😆...the contrast of him bursting out at her like a petulant child saying, "Why do you always have to interfere" and her trying to calmly reason with him over his nonsensical ideas😆...like an adult trying to reason with a tantrumy kid...clearly wasn't sitting well with Shivaay who isn't used to people questioning his "business" logic😆...I found it a weirdly amusing exchange to watch😆

3) The SLAP😆...kya SAHI maaara Anika ne...mazaa aa gaya😆...and the contempt in her eyes afterwards...SC enacted it really well👏...and the subsequent FLIP that happened in Shivaay...as indicated by the way he raises his eyes and they've gone cold at that point...Nakul did that well and props to the direction too...it was the figurative embodiment of Shivaay losing his mind😆.

4) All the subsequent manhandling😆😆😆...this must be the only character jiski manhandling bhi mujhe comedy lagti hai😆😆...cuz sorry but he's just not imposing with his body language...just can't be...and I kinda lost it laughing in the bit when he plops his foot next to her head on the bed🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The VISUAL of that🤣...and then when he leans over trying to be all menacing🤣🤣🤣...telling her she hasn't seen the real SSO...uhh ok right🤣...as expected, he tells her she messed this up for him, so she has to pay by doing one day ki shaadi with him😆...

I liked the fact that Anika resisted assertively, refused to bow down.

Shivaay telling her that if she doesn't wear the dulhan outfit on her own, he will MAKE her wear it?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...and Anika even believed him? She should know by now what a phenku + phattu he is😆.

Precap...Saahil ko udaa diyaaa?😲🤣...so much for all the peeps in the forum thinking that Shivaay would never threaten Sahil's life to blackmail Anika😆😆...clearly all bets are off cuz "real" SSO is here..."ruthless" wala🤣🤣...he's almost hilariously desperate at this point...using Sahil like this proves it😆...Anika ko daraa raha hai and I guess he has to succeed...for TRP waali shaadi😆

Very well written all points are well noted.
watching the episode I was thinking he's just seizing the occasion as an excuse to marry Anika because he was really dying for her.
His jealousy made him preponed the wedding.
He may be shivaay Sing Oberoi but as Anika also will be able to run away(though he will catch , threaten her etc etc) she's going to be the third brides who will runaway in one day.

I have not seen the episode yet...from the pictures it seems the most manhandling in any gul show ever...but may be it really was comical...ek toh I look at anika and then I look at shivaay and I am like 'she could SO handle him physically too'...if shivaay too was always supposed to have this manhandling streak in him then nakuul's physique kind of plays a hindrance.

Everybody is bashing shivaay...disgusted by him...I think you are the first who is actually amused by all of this😆

I think they left room for interpretation in terms of Shivaay...he definitely pre-poned the wedding cuz he was upset over Daksh telling him that Anika spent the night with him...he did it as a retaliatory thing...

And today, he started off as being furious with Anika for interfering with his plans but he totally lost it when she slapped him...it was already obvious that he was super desperate to get the shaadi done since he felt the pressure of losing face in society...when Anika slapped him, he totally flipped...after that it was not his mind working...he's done the whole thing on some twisted impulse...and yes, on some level that does include his need for her...but it's all subverted so he is not conscious of it.

Anika is standing up to him well for now😆

Exactly the reason for my amusement😆...but the makers still insist on making Shivaay do this manhandling stuff so I can only laugh😆. Poor Nakul tries his hardest, to his credit...but he will never be convincingly menacing to me😆.

This is the most amusing hate shaadi ever😆

Ab mujhe pata chala why I was never that bothered by SSO's manhandling much, and not even in this episode until they played O Jaana in the background, woh bhi female version. Nakuul just doesn't have the imposing body language (which I guess is cuz of his petite frame) at all. So it doesn't look convincing. I was only truly disgusted by the precap 🤢 😆

As for him asserting he'll make her wear the bridal outfit if she doesn't, I had the same reaction as you 🤣 Phattu Singh Oberoi ko Annika ke haath chune se 440 ka volt lagjati hai (reference that scene when he walked into a cupboard in Annika's house. 🤣 Woh usse kya kapde pehnata. 😆

Everything else was a haze for me really lol...until the precap happened. And his casual way of saying boom and that blast 🥱

I don't even need to try hard...the show is a readymade GOLDMINE of unintentional comedy😛😆

Yes, Nakul is just not built for typical Gul ML type manhandling...instead of recognizing that as a USP to make Shivaay stand out from the lame herd of Gul MLs, they insist on trying to stuff him into that category...the result is only unintentional comedy😆.

LOL the precap bothered you? The boom?🤣 Areyy come now...Shivaay is almost CUTE trying to be so "terrifying"🤣...matlab I feel like patting his head and saying kya kar rahe ho, Billu?😆 Tumse na hoga😆...phir bhi try maar rahe ho?😆

Only thing that terrified me in the precap was Anika ka horribly loud MAKEUP😳😆...got deja vu of that scene from Sridevi waali Chaalbaaz when she does the crazy makeup on that lady😆

Firstly.. On a serious note, I'm soo disappointed with writers right now.. Mera Shivaay jo last week se ICU mein tha, aaj RIP to him.. That manhandling and 180 degree turn from Shivaay to SSO is just too much for me...

Was this supposed to show that the head won over his heart? I did not understand the figurative meaning of this OJaana(btw please no OJaana for any manhandling scenes)...

Did he actually hesitate for even a second before he started attacking her? I might need to watch this scene again..

What I expected was a heart vs mind conflict(Maybe for goobar ganesh(Dumb)viewers like me - they should have shown some past scene ka montage 😛), and then the Shivaay ke eyes to show that head won and then Shivaay losing it(no manhandling)..😭

After that Thapaad, the only thing I saw was the laal-laal gal 🤣 and then I lost it when he started man-handling her 😡

I was in a dilemma during this scene.. I wanted to laugh because I saw his funky socks 🤣 but I was furious because the writers have destroyed SSO ka character to give Anika chances to be Mahaan and force a redemption wala track..

Yeah bas daara raha hai.. And Frankly, this I expected.. But after that manhandling yeh bhi digest karna mushkil ho raha hai.. 😭

Question to people who have seen many hindi series:

Till when do I need to tolerate this manhandling because that is SSO ka character? 🤢

What does redemption mean? What does SSO need to do to redeem his character? 😕

Acting toh is top-top notch and that is why I'm even more disappointed.. Lost opportunities.. NarBhi are fantastic.. Nakul surprised me actually.. Dialogue bhi dang se bola.. 😆 Both have such expressive eyes.. 😊 Agar Nakul nahi hota toh mein aur bhi overact and extra react karti.. 😆

Btw yeh Gul and writer ke comments aur gussa dila rahe hain.. Apparently.. SSO was always a baddie and that is the new in thing - Gul ke exact words are "Bad is the new good"🤢 [Sherlock ke epic dialogues ko akela chod de Gul ma]

Also, They had warned us about this storm, so we just need to reboot.. 🥱

Problem yeh hai ki tumhein abhi bhi Shivaay se kuch ummeed thi😆...sab tyaag do, baalike...no point only😆...jab already last week hi samajh aa gaya tha how this wedding is going to go down toh there was nothing surprising in today's epi.

To your point re: manhandling...yes, this is staple fare in most of these hate shaadis on TV...and most of these so called "brooding" Gul heroes...

In some ways, they tried to make it more menacing today with the way Shivaay tossed her on the bed, grabbed her head to pull her up and loom over her...but again, as I said...perhaps thank goodness for Nakul that none of this ends up looking horrible😆...he has a natural talent for softening it all up😆...any other actor, any other show, this probably would have ended up looking far worse...but yahaan in true IB-style, unintentional comedy took center stage...lol

LMAO he surprised me today too ki bilkul bhi nahin atkaa dialogue bolte waqt😲😆 Props to him for that, haan...haha

Re: Flip...no brain, no heart...all that won in that moment was Shivaay's EGO...he saw RED after that slap...I didn't see any hesitation...he was acting purely driven by rage there...and rage doesn't come from the brain or the heart...it's mindless.

Re: Redemption...LOL this is a Gul show, man...kya expect kar rahi ho? In a few days, Shivaay will magically go back to fumbling, awkward Billu...that is the only "redemption" that happens in GK shows😆

The other thing that pleasantly surprised me today was the way they more or less kept Shivika in character in the early part of their argument atleast...Shivaay ranting about his business logic and Anika so calmly retorting back pointing out the flaws in his logic which don't account for a girl's life...Surbhi and Nakul did do quite well today...didn't make it the typical screechy/loud argument b/w the leads in such a dramatic situation...Anika especially has this ability to talk so sortedly many times...I've always liked that...even later on when he was tossing her around the room, she looked shocked by his rage, even disconcerted but she wasn't being a typical abla naari either.
