The film was a comeback film for Salman. I think he was coming off the back of numerous flops when it came out.

It was followed by Andaz Apna Apna which failed and Karan Arjun which was a massive hit as well.

So I guess you can say it was Madhuri at the time.

Salman and Madhuri were the leads in the movie but after the movie released,Madhuri got more praises and accolades for her role than Salman.In most of the scenes,she even overshadowed Salman.

So even though HAHK is a Madhuri-Salman movie but Madhuri became bigger star than Salman due to this movie.

Btw,why are salman fans egos getting hurt?Isn't it enough for them that this movie is one of the successful movies of salman's career and has earned more money than even DDLJ?😆

Why are they feeling bad if Madhuri got more praises than Salman?

Whenever people talk about HAHK,the first person that comes in mind is Madhuri.
