Hello everyone,

So finally we have come to d end of 1st phase of our OS competition i mean to say that the participants have successfully submitted their Oses and m v glad to inform that dis yr d entries were more compared to d last year...😳so avi and me we both of us like to thank all the participants/writers who gave their valuable time inspite of d fest buzz going on...and managed to send in der entries...😳👏👏ok so now its time for d readers to work 😆as dey will have to read all d 17 entries been posted and give der valuable votes 😃

Last yr only 3 days were given fr voting since d forum was highly active and we dint have lazy readers like we do now😡😆so dis yr we decided going by d present status of our lovely forum dis time d voting session will b on fr 1 week so dat our lazy buzy readers can go thru all d entries and finally give der votes...😉

So the voting commences from 2dy i.e. 2nd Nov 2016 and ends on 10th Nov 2016 at 11.59 d voting session will b closed aftr which if any votes are posted it wont b considered...😛so d voting rules are v simple ppl can vote fr any 3 entries by mentioning d names of d OSes and also d entry nos for eg..

the writers can vote but dey r not allowed to vote fr der own OSes...dey can vote for other participants...😛 and c to dat d compe remains healthy so d writers should avoid sending pms to ur frnds asking fr votes no campaigning business🤣

Frnds, Avi has finally written a closing Os as she had promised to dani so she has penned down a lovely and cute Os for all of us...😳😉

|| Vengeful kiss ||

Love ...a mere four lettered word ,with an unexplainable meaning which differs from person to person .For some love is life ...for few love is a wonderful place to be...for few , it means world and for some ...its just a time pass but...for people like me its a total waste of time .

Ohk ...now dont look at me like that ... I mean common ...Born and brought up in New york i have actually seen a differnt shade of love altogether .

I have been grown up between people who often tag ther wishful desires under the pretext "love" and then starts the melodrama of girls .

Thankfully...im safe ...for...i always made myself clear ...that i dont want any kind of strings attached ...so my relationships strictly restricts to one night stands ... like a girl ...get her into ur bed and morning... chuck her out of ur life .

Thats how my life has been till yesterday ...yes , till yesterday i was very clear about what i want in my life ...but today ...*sigh*

On hearing my dadi's deteriorating health condition ,Dad asked me to visit her once thinking ,it probably might be her last few days on earth and so i took the immediate flight and reached her house only to see her all fit and fine .

Like seriously she faked about her health and im sure u will laugh out loud when u will hear the reason behind this lie .

Being a most eligible Bachelor...thats what my dadi thinks ..she wants me to settle in my life asap ...that too with an Indian girl .

She decided to shoulder this responsibility of searching a perfect girl for me on herself ...for ..she thinks...if it was given to my mom she would definetly get a ...ummm what does she says ...ummm...let me think...yes ...'Vilayti mem' with kind of green eyes ...short bolnde hair , heavy makeup ...tiny winy clothes and all...and she personally hated these kind of girls , reason well known to herself .

Till now it was atleast bearable ...but what irked me was , she actually selected a girl for me and now wanted me to meet her too .

And wait ...the main reason for her showing so much interest in this accuaintance was "Mr Priyatham Chadda" .

Now u must be wondering who this Chadda is ...well he is my Dadi's first crush infact first love to be precise .

Anyways ...im sure ,u dont want to get deep into their love story right ...becoz ...for god sake remember ...its my story , not their's .

Whatever...But the main point is ,im not a puppet who will dance on her finger tips...Im Jalal Mohammad ...yes thats me ...girls go gaga over my one look and here my Dadi was trying to hook me up with a village girl ...like really . God!!!!!

But again ...i cant say no to my Dadi ...im not heartless...i love her so much right ...so i made up my mind .

I will obediently follow my Dadi's orders , go to meet the girl and then polietly reject her ...sounds as simple as it is ,right ??.

And thats how i landed up in sitapur ...yes thats where that Chadda lives with his family and today it was his older grand daugter's wedding and the girl i was supposed to meet is , his younger grand daughter.

My car slowed and halted in front of a huge gate ... Giving the car keys to vallet ...me and Dadi went inside in awe.

The arrangements were so sumptous and imperial like i never expected ...atleast not here in a small village like sitapur.

Mr Chadda himself welcomed us inside and ushered her to the room alloted for us . I was quite impressed and liked it very much the moment i stepped in . It was spacious with all luxury materials placed in its right palce .

The cool breeze simpered in through the opened big french window...while the satin curtains blew slighty fetching an instant smile from me .

Dadi hovered on the bed to take some rest and i decided to breath in the fresh air coming from the window .

The bunglow was surrounded by meadows , the whole ambiance was serene and peaceful .

The ongoing commotion in the lawn disturbed my thoughts ...i gazed down to see a girl claded in a bright yellow saree with beautiful henna patterns on her hand ...was surrounded by few other ladies , she was being teased by the folks and few of the women were applying kind of musk yellowish thing on her face .

May be she is the bride ...i assumed ,but why do i feel she wasnt happy , like a newly bride was supposed to be .

Anyways , im not concerned about her ...Infact i was waiting to meet the girl for whom i came . I seriously cant take this headache anymore .

My ongoing thoughts halted when my eyes fell on a lean figure dressed in a green coloured lehenga .

Now if u dont know ,let me tell u ,green is my favourite colour and trust me the bright green colour of lehenga completented her fair skin so much as if it was springed for her only.

I could,nt see her face yet but somewhere i felt she definetly was a beautiful girl. There was something in her personality that attaracted me .

I darted my eyes from here to there to get a glimpse of her face but damn these girls ,were blocking my view.

Sighing i turned around on my heels ...determinant to her face once ,thence i trekked downstairs ,walking through the corridor which was beautifully decorated by satin drapes and flowers .

I almost reached the garden area ...only a few centimeters of walk and i would catch the girl .

I paced up my steps with my eyes everywhere around except the track and thats when someone bumped hardly into my chest .

Gooddd!!!!! I yelped closing my eyes ...not so soon later i realised something like wet absorbing into my white kurta ...

Ewww...that was really yucky...i frowned and looked down to see what that substance was ...and to my astonishment it was the same turmeric mixture used by the ladies in the garden .

Shucks...my kurta was ruined miserably , My eyes were spitting fire ,ready to burn the person who caused this . I snapped my eyes infront and ...'WOW' .

Yes ...that was the first word came from my mouth when i saw her . She was the same Green lehenga girl ,i remember the dress and wallaah ...she looked heavenly gorgeous ...no doubt .

My heart beats accelerated and i felt something strange in the pit of my stomach .

I came out of my stupor when her soft voice brushed across my ears...' Im sorry ' , she cutely held her ears and i felt my heart skipping few beats .

'Hmmm' ,i heard myself saying ...But hey ...what is this "HMMM"????

I mean dude ,she spoiled ur kurta just now and u dont even have a spare attire ...which means u have to roam in the whole house with the same kurta ?? Like really ??

Darn !!! I opened my mouth to show my anger but the girl seemed in hurry as she dashed across me and vanished in a gif .

Pressing my lips in utter annoyance ...i walked back to my dadi .

She was done with her mini nap and was now sitting in the hall for further ceremonies .

The groom was sitting in the Mandap ...thats what it is called ,isnt it ?? . The bride was yet to come ...the preist started reciting few mantras ...which totally went over my head .

By the way ...didnt they had that Turmeric wala ritual ...umm what is it called...god ...my poor memory...umm...yesss... Haldi ki rasam ...and then immediately wedding ceremonies ??

Being a muslim ...i dont know much about hindu rituals but i somewhere read , celebrations may extend from few days to several depending upon the budget in hindu weddings... ...and here there was no such problem ,right .

To clarify the same ,i scratched my Dadi's hand and woah , she was shocked looking at my coloured dress.

She raised her brow while i just shrugged nonchalabtly ...and straightly asked the reason behind this whizz .

Then i was informed ,the groom got a job in New Jercy and has to leave India the very next morning ,thus all this haste .

I then lazily roamed my eyes around when the same green coloured fabric caught my attention ,she was the same girl ...i was pretty sure and woah she was stealthy entering the last corner room of the floor .

Allah ...don't tell me she is a theif ?? My lips twitched into a devilish smile ...i was kind of bored sitting here and catching a theif redhanded would be so much fun ...isnt it ?? That too a beautiful theif like her 😉.

I got up from my seat making an excuse of washroom and then i went behind that girl.

On reaching the same room ,i heard some kind of muffled sounds ,i peeped in through the slightly opened door ...

Yeah yeah...i know its a very bad thing ,but who cares ...im not like those goody goody guys ,Remember ??

What the... i couldnt beleive my eyes ...the girl actually turned out to be a theif ...she was stuffing few bundle of notes , jwellery and wait clothes too ??

Poor girl ...dont she have even clothes to wear ? I wondered , but then brushed off that thought as that green shimmering cloth flashed in front of his eyes ... probably she was a Hi-Fi burgular ...😕

Whatever it is i was mustering myself to get into action when i saw the girl zipping the bag and was ready to throw it out of the window .

I rushed inside and caught her hand on time before she could get her way .

'Hey', I screamed

'Leave my hand u idiot...otherwise ',.. i heard her muttering .

Wow ...i never knew ,Indian theives carried so much attitude ... ok i agree im an Indian too but i was grown in foreign , so i actually didnt know how far the development had been .

She wriggled her hand under my grip but i was strong enough not to budge .

She glared and i glared her back ... and our glaring session would have continued if i didnt heard a small whimper coming from somewhere .

Yes ..somewhere...becoz i could not point out where the voice was coming from .

The girl jerked my hand with full force freeing herself from my grip.

'Diii' , she screamed and looked down the window .

I too followed her actions...and my my the bride was hanging to pipe .

Was she practicing feats just before her wedding ?? That too with that heavy bridal lehenga and all ??

Ohk...just kidding ...i understand she was going to elope from her own wedding ,but why ??

Must say ...Indians r actually developing .

Jokes apart ... the bride was going down with the help of pipeline ,but to her bad luck, her leg slipped otherwise she would have succeeded in her plan by now .

I need to help the bride ...i decided ,but i cant help her in going down...so i pulled her up with the help of green lehenga girl .

I explained them it wasnt a great idea to use the pipe , inturn risking her life and then I demanded to know everything .

I dont know why , but i urged to solve the pretty girls problem .

The bride was in tears ...awww ...no matter how bad im ...and chant the mantra of being foreigner ...still i m desi boy at heart .

I could'nt see tears in her eyes ... the bride then narrated her whole story and hugged me tightly .

And i was like... ummm...blank...i mean i am very bad at consoling others ...i knew ...thus couldn't say anything but caressed her back a little .

Believe me ...i wasnt taking advantage of the situation...and may be the green lehenga girl knew i was trustworthy...i could read her eyes .

Amidst all this i also came to know about an interesting fact ... The green lehenga girl ...her name was Jodha ...the same Jodha my nani wanted me to meet .

What a blissful coincidence,isnt it ??? ...i felt my heart doing a tiny flip flop.

Thereafter...i took the girls with me and reached the hall .

Yeh shadi nahi ho sakti ( This marriage wont happen) ,i shouted in a typical bollywood style... oh wait...this wasnt copied from a bollywood movie ...i mean i hardly watch them ...the dialogue came out of my mouth spontaneously .

My words grabbed everyone's attention...including the bride and groom's family.

Dadi too came and stood besides me confused .

'The bride ,doesnt want to get married to him', ...pointing towards the groom i announced at the pitch of my voice .

'And who r u to say this ?? '... Chadda's voice echoed in the whole room making everyone silent on spot .

'Thats not important ', becoz bride loves someone else ...and wants to spend her life with the same person...not him ... i said aloud .

I could see Chadda's eyes burning with rage , and its quite obvious right ...after all what he did to make this wedding grand and successful he finally gets to hear ,his grand daughter loves someone else ??

His reputation his pride everything was at stake .

Shehnaaz begum... he took my gradma's name loudly...'I didn't expect ur grandson to behave like this ...i know my grand daughter very well and i arranged the wedding only after getting her concent ... so pls ask him to leave the venue right now and yeah...forget about Jodha and Jalal's alliance too.

My Jaws stiffened ,my hands clenched , i wanted to shut that chadda's mouth but Dadi stopped me at the right moment .

My eyes momentarily fell on Jodha's face ...well i know her name now right ...so i can call her by her name ...

She seemed pretty shocked... could this be becoz that Chadda didnt tell her anything about the proposal ??

My Dadi's voice brought me back from my reverie...'Jalal ,come ..lets Go', .

Ohk...i need to settle some scores with this oldie ...before i go .

Mr chadda...i roared like a lion... 'I remember my dadi saying ,first crush and first love always holds a special place in our heart...and that is the reason why my dadi is here standing in front of u '.

Secondly ,i have no interest in marrying ur granddaughter ...keep her to urself ...i give a damn about this Rishta ...i clearly lied ...as i felt my heart cringed while saying so .

And lastly ... u and ur stupid old philosophies... which first destroyed my Dadi's life and now going to destroy ur grand daughters too.

U loved my Dadi very much...but then ur family and so called reputation made u cheat on an innocent girl like her .

I know its all over and there is no point in digging the old drills now ...but still i want to know a truth .

Did u ever loved Mrs Chadda wholeheartedly ?? Wasnt ur marriage just a compromise ,just like my Dadi's ?? Didnt u ever feel alone despite of having everyone around u ??

Im sure the answer for these questions is 'Yes' .

Whatever happened ,has happened...u people made ur decisions ...and moved on in ur life , but know whats the need to repeat the history again... i mean common ... history is already very boring , topping it if u repeat ,then...u better know the consequences.

Mr Chadda ...what i want to say is ...why do u want ur grand daughter to go through all the pain through which u went years ago.

Ture love is hard to find ...and when we actually find ,why do we prefer to miss it instead of grabbing it and saving it till eternity...

God!! I cant believe ...i m talking about love ... i wanted to check my temperature to ensure everything was alright with me...but cant ...not atleast now...with the whole crowd around me .

" Dadu.., .finally she broke her silence...'he is right ...i only agreed to marry him becoz i didnt want to hurt u people ...but at the same time i knew ...i could have never ever lived happily with this man . I cant live adjusting my whole life .

I wanted to run away from all this ...but Jalal made mr understand and encouraged me to tell u the truth.

Meanwhile the groom too stood up...'Yes Dadaji...even i dont love sukanya , i was marrying her under my parents pressure ,i love someone else dadaji and she is standing right between the crowd with poison in her hands .

Wow the nerve of this man...his girlfriend was ready to kill herself for him and here he was ready to marry another girl that too infront of her , like seriously...if he had showed a little courage before itself then the whole thing should have sorted out by now, isnt it ?

Great ...Chadda's voice boomed in the room 'What else we parents can do when u people already made ur choices... woh kya kehte hai shehnaaz ...Jab miyan biwi Razi ...toh kya karega qazi ...everyone bursted into bout of laughter.

The decision was appreciated with a loud applause . Padit again started the mantras ,the once to be married bride and groom were now marrying their respected loves .

My Dadi chirped "All is well that ends well" blessing the couples thereon...me and Dadi decided to leave after bidding good byes.

Marriage was completed and there was nothing much left for us now ...i mean it might had if the proposal was still in the air but after my announcement , that was near to impossible .

Me and Dadi padded towards the parking lot when Dadi asked sorry for forcing me into this proposal ...but my heart only knew how badly i wanted the girl selected my her in my life ,anyways ...whats the point in lamenting over spilled milk...the damage was done beyond repair ...

We reached the car ,i tucked my hands inside the pocket to get out the car keys , i remember the vallet giving it back to me ...but it wasnt there now .

Asking my Dadi to stay besides the car , i rushed inside searching for the keys , only to find it nowhere .

Grunting , i decided to take a cab and turned around to leave when someone bumped into me again .

Ouchhh , was it a worlds bumping day today ,that everyone kept bumping into him all the time ... I groaned and looked straight.

Surprisingly ...it was she again...Jodha .

Hey ...i heard her saying .

Hi...i reciprocated casually , keeping my unexplained feelings shut inside my heart .

Your keys...i saw my car keys dangling in the air with the support of her finger .

Oh thanks ...i gladly smiled and was about to take them from her hand when she pulled back her hand all of the sudden.

Puzzled...i looked on...while she inched closer .

Her eyes flashed a mysterious twinkle, what is this girl upto...my heart prodded.

She leaned in more ..almost zeroing the gap between us .

My heart throbbed badly , no girl ,i repeat ,no girl till date had such an effect on me . I could feel a warm sensation ran up my cheeks ...it was embarrassing ...trust me ...i was really behaving like a girl .

I arced my body more ...only to loose my balance and was about to fall when she caught hold of me .

Me ?? Allah ...wasnt she tiny , compared to me ? And hell she saved me instead of the other way round .

The next few minutes went in a blur ...as i could only feel her soft tender lips against my hard ones .

My eyes popped out of my sockets , did she really do that?? i wondered untill her voice chimed in my ears .

' Its a no from my side too Mr Mohammad, no one has ever dared to reject me...it's been always me breaking boys hearts ...dont try to change sitapur's history .

She whispered in my years and pushed me away from her . Her lavender perfume stirred several emotions in my heart .

'Allaah,what kind of sweet rejection was that ??', i wondered while my hands automatically reached the spot where she signed with her lips ,making me hers forever .

Someone rightly said ...

" Love is just a word ,untill someone gives the true meaning of it " .
