Of course! I was just wondering who wrote such insightful, amazing, well written and realistic post.

And then (yes, I started reading just because I liked the heading of the post), I saw the name of the person who posted it.

Napstermonster! :-D Now, why am I not surprised.

On a different note, does it bother anyone else that so many women seem to find it is acceptable (and some of them find it even desirable) that abuse in done by these heroes in the name of love?

For the past few days, I've been wondering what direction Gul was going to take the show, since both Shivaay and Annika have started to bluntly accept that there is something "in between them". But you've and a lot of the commenters nicely pointed out what the future tracks can be.

I agree with the crux of the main post: Shivaay will definitely lash out at Annika. His ego won't let him accept that he could fall for a girl with "no name" and without her trying to "catch" him. There have been hints left, right, and center about this now. Shivaay even realizes this himself as he is actively trying to stay away from her.

What I hope once the main climax occurs in the story, I want to see a strong independent Annika who can have the strength to walk away from him and still hold her head high (aka does not accept the "bechaari" character). I want her to move ahead in life, whether it's the restaurant catering service or her wedding planning stint. And possibly put the focus back on finding her lost sister.

Shivaay, on the other hand, needs to see people as for the individuals as they are, rather than continually lumping people in all the same groups. He does this for those who are "lower class" than him as well as women in general. He has a lot of preconceived notions, and he has to rid himself of those before he can have a relationship with anyone, let alone Annika.

And when the time comes, Annika herself also needs to mellow somewhat in regards to "throwing caution to the wind" with society. I also really cringed when she was willing to throw her honor down the drain to protect Shivaay from the ACP...especially less than 24 hours after he ruthlessly kicked her out of his house. If not herself, she should have thought about Sahil at least...she already is trying so hard to make enough to get his adoption through. A stain on her izzat like that would definitely make her case much harder.

Wonderful post napstermonster. I've been reading your ff's from the past few years (i think in IPKKND?) and you've always written such wonderful topics. This one is no exception👍🏼
