Beautiful thread dear...Happy Choti Diwali...actually I knew both the stories but didn't knew that they both were associated with this day...this was great dear...just a small sa another legend bout the death of Narakasur from my side:
It is also said that Narakasur was told ( Maybe a boon) that only his Mother could kill him , and his mother was bhoodevi...but no mother will kill her child so he was sure that he won't die but Satyabhama(Lord Krishna 's wife) Was an incarnation of bhoodevi and so she was able to kill him...
