I think this new Amma is not suitable.she looks arrogant and does not have the same presence as the former one, who was tough but had some humility, I really liked her portrayal. I dont even feel like watching anymore, the essence of Amma has gone, with this new Actress
Also, is it 15 years later? Amma looks too old for someone in late 40s or early 50s...no offence to the Actress, as I think this is an error on the casting crew's part

Shabana Azmi is just perfect for Amma. In fact I believe she's doing a much better job than Urvashi Sharma. She did not look tough from any angle. Shabana looks rough and tough which is what we need because the real life Amma was rough and tough and did not have a cute and innocent face like Urvashi. The makers brought Shabana on board to make it look more realistic. I dont think there's any error on the casting crew's part.

Well she looks too old for a woman in her fifties and thisc actress looks too arrogant
I did not know this was based on a true character , I thought it was made up
But I guess we will just have to agree to disagree
