Vrushika out of Ishqbaaz [VB Note:pg 24]

We were the first ones to report about the creatives at 4 Lions (production house) and the channel (Star Plus) deciding to put Ishaana's character on a hiatus. Ishaana is played by the very popular Vrushika Mehta.

Paired opposite Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh), Ishaana's role did not take a strong shape, much to the chagrin of the maker, and rubbing salt to wounds was legions of Vrushika's social media fans, who harrowed the creative team and writers via distasteful mentions and comments.

Well, now we have learnt that a decision has been reached and Vrushika's association with Ishqbaaaz has ended permanently.

Confirming the development, Producer Gul Khan shares, "Yes, it's true that Vrushika is not coming back. There's nothing personal, it's an absolute creative call."

Indeed, sad news for her admirers.

Vrushika on her part tells, "I will not be seen in the show. I have been informed about it. It's not the end of the world. I take it stride and hope to grab something new soon."

Well, given Vrushika's acting acumen, we are sure she will soon make a splendid comeback on small screen.
