Then reports appeared, saying that Roshan did not have dates for the project. The role was then tossed around from Ranbir Kapoor and Siddharth (Rang de Basanti) to Imran Khan, Aamir Khan's nephew.

Bachchan Jr and Mehra were supposed to do a film titled Samjhauta Express, earlier, that would have touched on Indo-Pak relationships. The project was scrapped. An SMS to Mehra for his reaction to the M-scene remained unanswered.

It is widely believed that Delhi 6 is autobiographical in nature. Mehra, who spent his formative years in old Delhi, wants to pay tribute to his town through the movie.

Mehra began the first phase of the film's shooting in October by capturing the Eid celebrations in Chandni Chowk.

yaar that red part is the main problem...may be abhi will be related with that or may be some other character in the film...or may be rakesh mehra has cut that from the script(see the bold part of the following article)...so we have to wait i think...

Hrithik back in 'Delhi 6'!

Hrithik Roshan finally lost his resistance to director Rakeysh Mehra and gave his nod for Mehra's next 'Delhi 6'. The 'Rang De Basanti' director had first approached Abhishek Bachchan for the role, but thing didn't work out, and Mehra then, keen to cast one of the top actors in the role, approached Hrithik Roshan. But Hrithik had some issues with the script and Rakeysh then went to Akshay Kumar, and unfortunately Akshay also refused the role. So with no option left for him, Rakeysh Mehra again approached Hrithik and agreed to change some portion of the script according to Hrithik's suggestion. As per latest, Hrithik after getting the assurance from Mehra has signed the film. However who will play he heroine's role, has not been finalized yet. 'Delhi 6' is reportedly based on director Rakeysh Mehra's biography.

i think we need not to fear as thats an m-scene so there is no way sona is related to that scene....but it will be disappointing for me if the movie has an m-scene...i like clean movies like rang de basanti or guru or bunti-babli or bluff master

he needs a shave and a weight loss regime cause hes so over weight

with sona..hrithik would look good, so would akshay, coz remember we need to think height here too- lol slb "nutan aur tabu ke baad yeh teesri hai jo itni lambi hain"- he said something similar to that in the making..

i would say..akshay, hrithik, abhishek, john, ...but obviously nothing at all like our Bir, they are made for each other 😆
