It has been a week when you changed status as updating tonight.

Part 22:

Geet's eyes were red due to anger and her face showed pure disgust.

Geet: What are you doing here?

Girl: what do you mean? Who are you?

Geet pointed towards the guy..

The girl got confused as what was Geet referring to...

Girl: Who are you? I can't recognise you...

Geet's cheeks were on fire now and she wanted to slap the girl right now...

Geet: I am Geet...

Right that instant the girl's eyes gleamed with happiness and she hugged her with so enthusiasm

Girl: I am so happy to meet you in person... Oh where is Maan...?

Geet: Maan?

Girl: Yeah..

Geet: Yeah after spending time with you how will he be with me...

The girl got confused for sure now...

Girl: What are you saying... I am not understanding...

Geet: Yeah... Yeah now you will say like that...

Girl: Like what...

Their talk was interupped when the guy whom the girl was dancing came and hugged her from back

Girl: Oh meet him, this is Sanjay and Sanjay this is Geet.

Sanjay: Oh Bhabhi, Maan says a lot about you.

Geet frowned now...

Geet: Bhabhi... If you don't know we both are not together now...

The girl and Sanjay were shocked to hear that...

Sanjay: But how is that possible...

Geet: Only because of you

And Geet pointed towards the girl

Sanjay: How is Laila involved in this?

Geet: Oh so u don't remember... Don't you remember 6 months before you crying over his shoulder, him hugging you, consoling you... You saying I love you... etc and Maan reciprocating it... that too in his hotel room.

Laila: Wait... Wait... Geet...Looks like there is some misunderstanding...What did you exactly see...

Geet got a bit confused on hearing the misunderstanding part and therefore she uttered reluctantly.

Geet:Wo... 6 months before I came in without knocking the door and I saw you leaning on Maan and I think you were crying...

Laila: Oh God Geet... Maan is like my brother... I can never look at him like that... I am his one other best friend after Yash... Actually the thing is I used to love Yash and then I came to know that Yash likes some other girl. I came to him to discuss things... And I said I love you out of brother sister love... not like you are thinking...

Geet was awestruck after hearing that... Her mind had stopped working...and she could barely hear the later part

Laila: Then I met Sanjay, though I did not love him but he liked me at first instinct.. like love at first sight. And as people say that you should marry the person who loves you not the person you are in love with. And after spending time with him, I realised that Yash was only an infatuation and I actually realised what love is with him... With Sanjay.

And Laila turned her head and smiled at Sanjay

Geet: Par maine... I ...

Sanjay: We are really sorry that we were the reason for your misunderstanding... But Geet go before it's too late... Maan only loves you.

Laila: Yeah Geet, you are the only one in his life...

Geet's eyes misted and soon pearls were dropping from her eyes...

Geet (selfthought): Oh God... what did I do... I thought he was wrong... he was betraying me... how could I even think like this... Everytime Maan had made me realised that he loved me and I... meri yeh bachkani harkatey... Always taking decisions without thinking... Mai to hu hi bewakoof, duffer...and I even told him not to talk to me... he being Maan... Unhone ne meri baat rakhi and in 6 months he didn't even come in front of me... Kyun Maan hamesha to app apni man mani karte hai... is baar kyun nahi... I have hurt him a lot... I have to talk to him... yeah hmm.. I will talk... I will go to his house...Yeah Khurana guest house... I remember him saying that he will shift there after renovation and it has been 7 months... yeah may be... Par mujhe to address bhi nahi pata... but if he is not there then... if he had left... oh God I don't even know where he is ... But papa was asking me about him then may be he is here...there were days when I used to know what he last ate and now I don't even know about his whereabouts... should I ask them...No...

On the other hand. When the person following her told Maan that she has come to a club. Maan grabbed his keys and went after her... It took him one hour to reach. He didn't want to leave her on her own and on the hands of her bodyguard, so he went there...

Maan(Selfthought): Yeh Geet bhi na... bilkul bachi hai.. If some one spikes her drink or she drinks something wrong... then who will take care of her... and that Diana I know about her as well... Usko koi larka mil jai to wo bhi nahi dekhti kay uskey sath mai koi aya tha... Hopefully I reach there...this traffic...damn

Maan reached there...

Geet grabbed her bag and moved out of the club. Crying over what she had done... A misunderstanding, not listening to him inspite of him calling to talk to her costed her a separation of 6 months, pain misery, anguish... not only in her life but his as well.

Geet: I am sorry Maan... I am so Sorry.. I should have listened to you...

Geet said that out loud and people strated staring at her... She looked like a mess. She walked back home. But she didn't know that the person she was saying sorry was right behind her, following her so that she reaches home safely...

Maan (self thought): Thank God you reached safely back home... You don't know the fear I have when you are not near me...

Maan already got a call from Sanjay and Laila... for apologising for the misunderstanding that was created because of them. And Maan knew that Geet had already got to know everything.

Right when he was returning he got a call from Mohinder.

Appologies for delay. Actually I have started working, so don't get time to pen down parts. Anyways will be updating agin in the morning. A long one... till then, shower me with your love. :)

Superb update. Geet's misunderstanding is cleared by Sanjay and Laila. Now Geet is repenting whatever she has done. Now she even don't know where Maan is. On the other hand Maan got to know from Geet's BG that she has gone to a club. He is worried for Geet. He immediately went to club. Geet came out of the club and was crying and apologising Maan. She went to her home and Maan followed her. He is happy that she reached home safely.
