Is there any Sangeet ceremony in the Bengali weddings?

I was just wondering if we would get a Sangeet ceremony in Devakshi wedding...

So I thought, when we have so many bengalis on our forum, why not ask their help?

So all you dear buddies, can you help me with my query?

Do we have Sangeet ceremony in our Bengali wedding ceremonies?

I think since this is an inter-cultural wedding... they will have ceremonies that are important for both side... so we may get to see ashirwad from bengali side and sangeet from Dixits side ??

There's generally no sangeet ceremony among Bengalis. But then to ring ceremony is also not there. Still they showed. So they can show sangeet too. In fact, its better. They can show sangeet happening from Dev's side at Dev's house.

Wedding take place with bengali rituals or with the dixits.
Whether all the ceremonies fit according to them or not, but I want all the ceremonies to incorporate in devakshi wedding. From ring exchanging to ring searching, haldi, sangeet, everything.
So much excited for the wedding.

Hahaha... I know... We are dying to have one Devakshi romantic dance... Ritwik ke saath do baar dance karte dekh liya Sonakshi ko... Ab jab tak Dev ki baahon mein ek romantic dance nahi ho jaata, tab tak kaleje ko thandak nahi padegi... 😆
Even if there happens no ceremony in that way, the show people, they exaggerate it also...
There used to be a show on Zee TV, as Qubool Hai.. It was set up as an Islamic set in Bhopal... [The place and culture, I am born and brought up in, and still living ]
For Asad and Zoya's wedding, God knows what all ceremonies they showed... Jashn -e- Baahar ie. Sangeet kind of ; Jasn -e- Saugaat, in which the groom has to gift the bride something before the marriage...
And what not...
Even the Nikaah they showed, in that Asad was asked Qubool Hai first and Zoya later on ; which ideally is that the girl should be asked first coz she shouldn't be felt pressurized coz of the groom's yes...
But they did all kinds of stuff...
Ultimately, there was so much chaos in the forum about what is authentic and what is not that I finally had written an Ff there telling how actually an Islamic wedding happens in Bhopal... Straight and simple...

So if those people could show so much bloopers, our show can definitely take some creative liberty.. 😆
