Hi girls, what's up???
The forum has been buzzing with the birthday of our shravan and Namik
I have not been able to write some thing from quite some time but this thought just came to my mind and I wrote this. Hope you guys will like it.

Everyone was here except her. His gaze was stuck on the entry gate, waiting for her. He knew that she was coming here as he just talked to pushkar and he informed him that Preeti and suman have left for the party venue. Still he was feeling restless as if something was not right he can sense it but was unable to pinpoint what it was. The party was thrown for him, it was his 27th birthday and first as a married man.
Everyone who knew him had already wished him except her. He knew that she remembered it was his birthday. Pushkar has eaten his ears off explaining how he, sumo and Preeti have planned for this party behind his back. But she has not wished him even once. It has been 6 months since they have gotten married. The relationship between him and his wife was still not good but they have started behaving more civil towards each other for the sake of their families. But the biggest surprise of his life came when he visited Tiwari Killa in the afternoon to take the blessings of Nanu wherein he also got to know that they were going to America in 15 days' time. Daboo was excitedly telling him in about his trip and showing the new clothes he bought for himself which he kept in the Almirah of Suman's room when a cardboard box fell from the lower rack spilling it's contents on the floor. His world turned on its axis when he examined the contents of the box. It was Sumo's and contained each of their precious memories from childhood from photographs to small trinkets which he had gifted her. From the movie tickets which they have gone to watch together to silly portraits of her which he has made and given to her. It was as if all of their childhood was contained in that small box.
The box also contained a neatly kept and rubbered bunch of papers which looked like letters but he could not recognise it. So he removed the rubber from the stack and started reading those papers one by one when he completed reading the stack of papers he got the biggest gift of his life. He could not have asked for anything else. He felt the weight lifted from his heart because his Sumo Loved Him. All these letters were written to him, never delivered to him they contained her anguish, her pain, her guilt, her loneliness, her hope and her love.
Since then he has been waiting for the moment when he can see her, look into her eyes and confess his love to her. He has planned the moment and now he was waiting for her. He wanted it to be perfect. Yes, there were a lot of problems between them but they can together work it out. He was sure, he was thinking about the moment when he will confess to her when she came into his view. A vision in red stealing his breath away but the emotions in her eyes were different. It showed a steely resolve, he was not sure why it was there but he was not feeling good about it.
She came straight to him handed him some papers rolled to hide what it contains she hugged him tightly went on her tippy toes Nd whispered in his right ear. 'happy birthday shravan, I hope you like your gift'. She smiled with water in her eyes took a deep breath and moved away from him giving him the space to see his gift. He opened the papers excited to see what his Sumo has got him when his world again rotated on its axis. He could not believe his eyes. 'Mutual Divorce Petition' he murmured reading what the paper was, already signed by his wife Mrs. Suman Malhotra.
