The families usually are jumping in excitement, the bride and groom have butterflies in their stomachs . .The world around is praising the jodi.
Here, the family is jumping because they don't even know whether the engagement is happening or not, The bride has butterflies because her alliance just broke because of her ex, the groom is anxious because his father declared that he needs to think once more and the world around is talking about the Jodi, but of Devakshi.
The episode was confusing.
I could not decode Dev's blank state. Like a Machine. Similarly, I could not decode Sona.
Nor Ritwik.
The journalist fiasco would have felt so relatable for ShaRica, just like that TOI article, the news spreads like fire for Devakshi too. Before you register, the news is everywhere.
Sonakshi calls Dev, he is honest this time but she doesn't believe him. Or was she disappointed with his reaction?

Though Dev looked blank and went back to Ishwari with the ideal bachcha face, I believe this is causing a storm inside him that no one, be it R or Sonakshi, or even Ishwari for that matter could believe that he did not want to break the marriage, or that he wanted good for Sonakshi, and that he was trying to keep his promise.
All this is welling up as his anger maybe? That when he is not doing anything, Everyone believes

So, this is infact a subtle buildup only, seeming like a filler right? Dev was sarcastic and angry in the promo because no one believes in him, expecting him to be all wrong, so he will just make sure he is present there for the engagement. To answer them all. ?? but there will be something to add the anger element, for sure.
