Thanks. I am extremely impressed by Sona's character. She is an extremely strong woman. And yes, you are right. Unlike Dixit oblivious family where one might be dying and no one even bothered checking unless it's Ishwari, Bose family pays attention to each other's happiness.
Even if one person in Bose family shed tears, the rest of the family gets affected. No one's pain is more important than other, no one's emotions are more of a priority than others. That is how a family should be, not a priority system.
Sona has seen what her heartbreak did to her family. They were the innocent one who only wanted their child to be happy. Yet every tear she sheds impacts their happiness. She is bearing her pain, Dev's pain and her family's pain. And for what reason? For someone who is no one to her.
Dev can tell himself that he did it for his mom and be content at the glory of sacrifice. What does Sona have? She had to live with the knowledge that she is responsible for her family's worries.
So she locked away her pain, pasted a smile on her face and tried to make the people happy who never let her down.
That takes courage, that takes love and that takes nerve of steel.
