I am reading all three stories of yours and in all you have the kept the original IPKKND story alive... be it in the basic storyline or the characterization of the main leads. But IPKKND is just the strawman... you have added colors or layers to Arnav and Khushi so they remain true to the original vision of these two characters. Coming to the update... the kiss has shaken him up. He has an escort on his payroll... and uses her only as a necessity ! Fits very well with the Arnav in the first few episodes of IPKKND. What I am surprised that he does not plan to see her again ( even before her big revelation)... it is because he is sure about his feelings for Khushi? Seems not . Or he truly does intend to marry Khushi to teach her a lesson? Either way doing away with escort does not make sense. So will wait for you to reveal in the next few episodes .

In the first episode Khushi's description of him is of a megalomaniac... here the escort take on his personality is of a cold, calculated and fully in control, who does not give an inch man. There is room for error in Khushi's Arnav not in the escort. Who is correct?

Brilliant update Maya. The finesse with which you handled this sensitive, awkward episode is commendable. I was completely bowled over this episode when I first read Jalebi. In this episode we will come to know how emotionally detached Arnav can be.
There is so much in this chapter. You gave us a peek at how the thoughts of a high society escort could be, how good she can be at reading and judging her clients.
She did a grave professional mistake by mentioning Khushi, pitied his love interest thinking that he is incapable of emotional attachment. He will never comeback to her again.
