I feel nimmi took cowardly route when she didn't even let Somu study... she wanted her to belong to this society...then she would have atleast made her self sufficient to get a job or such since she can't marry and depend on her husband .
What would nimmi have done in a future where she is dead but somu still alive not knowing what to do where to go and all...
She should not have made somu so much helpless

agree hari soumya should not depend on someone in future she should be able to handle herself. but without gd education how can she stand for herself. nimmi should tell the truth to soumya before itself but she didnt

@red...that is the burning question...I can understand that Nimmi was fearful for

Saumya's life...but there was no way she made her economically self reliant in

any field...let aside education...no home crafts or anything..How did she not

think that what would happen to Saumya after her death???

nimmi taught her at home not too much n taught her all house hold work stitching embroidery etc

she has not given her high education but somya is educated at home itself

remember somya read that saya letter before going to temple

Secondly, what if soumya 's hubby was some xyz person. Everyone will not be so,considerate like Harman. What would have happened then. Was Nimmi right in getting her married without revealing the truth to Harman? What did she know about Harman to let the marriage take place. Nothing! How can she marry her daughter to some unknown person given the situation. Height of stupidity!

Thirdly, what did the Singh family ever do to Nimmi n her family. Why should they be made to suffer?

It's like I took care of soumya for 21 years now it's harman's turn. Is she trying to wash her hands off soumya?

whatever explanation she may give I can't accept it. For me, there is no redemption for this character. Period.

Children always learn from their parents esp the mother. We try to follow our mom in what ever we do. Sometimes we even think like them. Nimmi never taught somu the realities of life. She made her dependent on others. She ignored surbhi for somu. I don't know if any mother will be like this.

I have nothing to say except that Nimmi is the most pathetic mother I have ever seen, even in fiction space. She does whatever the hell she likes without thinking about consequences or the destruction she is lying down on someone else's path.

After all these, she had the gall to remind Harman of his promise & blackmail im to let Saumya stay with him for next 2 weeks. 😳 She's not just cowardly, she's shameless as well 🤢
