10 years later

A young girl excitedly look out the balcony smiling before running down the stairs excited " CHAND!" She screams loud enough for everyone to hear.

One of the people passing by says " their she goes again"

" I still can't believe this is the same girl that was living in the temple before CHAND found her dad."

The girl seeing ashok, almost jump on him. She hugs him out of happyness and start blabbering about what she saw. Ashok, hesitate, " you can let go now Devi, people are watching"

" let them watch, I'm just happy that you save those people. I knew you we're good." She says

Ashok, says in head. I told her many time to stop doing this, but she doesn't listen. He sigh before smiling a little and pat her head. " by the way, how did you know, that I save those people. Were you following me?" He says

Devi blush " n-no, I have my sources. Besides I was worried about you" she blurted

" theirs nothing to worry about, people wouldn't dare to touch me" he says

Devi pulls away smirking " what's this, ashok... your head is getting big again" she says , ashok touch his head confuse, he says my head is still the same" , this made Devi giggle.

One lady says " get a room"

" yeah, why don't you get married already" another says

An old lady laughs " let the two love birds show their affection for one another" she says making them blush out of embarrassment. To make it worse, ashok brother came out, saying ashok has a lover. He even tease Devi by calling her sister in law. Devi squeeze his cheeks and call him name.

While this was going on Dharma came out smiling. She remember like it was yesterday when ashok brought a girl, wearing all white. Her clothes we're covered in blood. She was scared, and didn't speak to anyone except her father dhaniram.

It wasn't until one night when ashok came from a fight, that she tried to help him. She had raced downstairs calling his name. She caught him and starts asking him, how he got the wound. Who did this? , she was about to call for help, when ashok shush her, holding her arm he told her not to tell anyone, because he doesn't want to worry his family. Devi ripped off her sari and tied it on his side. She made him lean on the stair case and ran upstairs to get cleaning tools. When she came back she tend to his wound.

That was the first time, they actually spoke, from that day ashok was greatful to her. And they became friend's, everyone was surprise to see Devi all talkative especially to ashok. They also notice how ashok would often smile to Devi.

" CHAND?" His mom says " where did you go?"

Ashok walk to her, " I was helping at the field " " here's the rent money" he says

Dharma frown " I already told you, I don't want money you took from others"

" but I didn't, I earned it working in the fields " he says

" Dharma didn't believe him, she gave it back to him, making him frown. Ashok took the money and gave it to Devi to give to her dad. Devi told him not to worry about it, but her dad cut her off and took the money. " thank you CHAND, hope your on time for next rent." He says turning to walk away, Devi surprise, followed after her dad to talk with him, but he told her he won't listen to her.

Meanwhile, Jagannath was having a small get together. He invited people over to discuss finances, and alliance's. Everything was going so well, Jagannath told them time for the main entertainment. The other government, told him, his not here to see girls dancing. Jagannath laugh " no my friend, this is better" he says taking them to the back.

He told them all to sit, and clapp his hand, commencing the battle. They saw two big guys appearing before they started fighting. It wasn't long before a third party joined in, this person wasn't buff, but instead skinny. The person was calm, not rash. She was standing with two swords in her hand, firmly grasped. She waited anticipating her enemy's move. She watch as they both, move faster then a speed of light. , but kaurvaki just prepared herself before tilting her blade.

And blocking both attack. She was able to push them back a little. But it wasn't enough because she could feel the energy of the sword through her own. Swipe, the one on the left blade half slice her scarf, now showing her lip area. , she jump backward, and tilt her sword again before charging, coming in low then swooping up high fast. The other guy Dodge by turning his waist to the other side, he raised his sword to hit her, but she blocked it. In one fluid motion, she twisted his arm that was holding the sword behind his back, forcing him to drop the sword. Then she point both her sword at his Beck before saying " your out"

Everyone cheered for her, but it wasn't over yet because the last one, ran to her, to attack again. Kaurvaki, ran to him,and they both clang their sword. Kaurvaki wrapped her foot around the guys leg, and flip his foot. Making him fall, she twisted her swords and lift it in the air, about to kill him, but stop when her father started clapping. " excellent... excellent " he says

The politicians surprise, got up and start clapping. They we're surprise to see someone with good skills, and their not buff. " you have some really good talented soldiers jagannathan, I'm scared to fight you in a battle " one of them said

Jagannath smile before laughing " what do you expect from my general" he says proudly

" general!!!?" " that person?!!"

Jagannath nod before dismissing them. Once they left kaurvaki, went to her private room. She remove her mask before saying the diya she light will continue to light until she kills ashok, that will keep reminding her of his betrayal. Bel her maid told her it was time. Kaurvaki, quickly changed and left the room determined.

" where have you been getting this food?"

The little boy scared, yet proud says " our goddess gave it to us"

The guards laugh before smashing things at the party, he was about to hit the little boy when two hands stop him. Both parties look at one another confuse.

Ashok is seen spying on Sushim men, he wonder why his father didnt kno about the taxes being past down on food.

Sushim talks to his mom about finding ashok to kill him, while Helena says no, " he will come to us, and their we will kill Him"

Kaurvaki is seen walking out of the palace, her father questions where she was going, and her mom smile " you should already know, who else live in Ujjaini", Jagannath. Thought about it before his eyes lighten up, " Chanda" he says making his wife smile.

When kaurvaki and Bel reached the village area, she searched for her mentor house. She remember it was by the river, " I think that's it kaurvi" Bel says

Kaurvaki nod, and walk to the small house. She knocked, but no one answered. She knocked the second time and she heard shuffling and an old voice " I had said this before, I don't want any soldier's. Knocking on my door. Leave what you have behind and then I shall open" , kaurvaki look around, before removing her sword, and warrier. Clothes. Bel gasp, she told her people will see, but she ignored her.

She knock one more time, before the door was opened. " kaurvi, how have you been?" She asks, touching her face. Kaurvaki soften, seeing her face " I'm well, and how is your health? Did you get the money I sent you"

Chanda took her hand back, while walking with her cane, " of course, and I make do with it. I'm actually having a party for the village."

" a party? Why didn't you tell me, I could have helped you"

" no, you have more things to do then helping an old lady"

Kaurvaki frown " your like family dad I, I would do anything to help you"

Chanda smile, remembering when she was first assigned to teach her to fight with swords. She was very fierece, and yet stubborn. She remembered how lost she was, but she soon warmed up to her and she started calling her dad I. She smile, but stop when she started couphin. Worried kaurvaki ran to her, calling her name, Chanda told her she will be fine, in a few minute. Kaurvaki frown, she told her if she was sick, she could have inform her.

" stop worrying to much, im fine now" she says, before straightening her back and took out a list. " whats this?"

" these are food i need, im to old to get them so you will do" she says

Few hours later, bel frown while holding the fish net " why are we doing this again?"

" because , i dont want her to do things by herself"

" but this is so gross" she wines

Kaurvaki stopped throwing the fish in the nest " bel, stop complaining. Your not the one getting the fish i am" she says before going back to throwing it.

Some guys walking by stop when they saw kaurvaki flip her beautiful hair, making the sun touch her pake skin. She wore a white garment, making the mens drool , " a goddess has decended on earth" they mumble

One guy decided to approach her, while she was tying the net. He told her to become his wife, and leave this labour work to him from now on. Kaurvaki just stared at him, " im perfectly fine, doing this" she says

The men says " but a female like yourself, wont be able to handle this" he says

Kaurvaki raised a brow " really??" , bel chuckles, saying his gonna get it. Kaurvaki grab the net and lift it, she swung it like it was a rope, then she throw it to the guy who was surprise. He caught it, but the wait of the fish, made his hand weak and he fell to the ground. His friends snickered, before kaurvaki, grab the fish and call for bel. They left the area and walk back to the house.

meanwhile, dharma, asks ashok to do some grocery in the market, ashok frown, but complied. While walking devi saw him and decides to tag along, she starts questioning where he was going, and then starts talking about the people. Ashok annoyed told her to be quiet for a second. Devi pouts, when they reached the market, people got scared seeing chand, but sigh with relief, when they saw devi with him.

While he was buying food, he heard people talking about sushim. " yes not everyobe can afford food now, because he put the taxes up. I thought bindu understood his people, but to let his son take over the finance was a bad idea" one said

Another says " he even taxing the water, if anyone disobeye they will be punished"

Ashok tries to hear more, but the two men left. He frown to himself, and turn around he gave the money to Devi and ran to the direction he thought they went. Devi frown calling ashok, " his always quick to leave my side" she says before paying.

Ashok ran until he found one of the men, he grab one by the shoulder forcefully demanding to know, everything about Sushim. The men surprise and afraid, calls ashok chand. He starts begging saying he didn't do anything, and to spare him. Ashok tighten his hold on the men, " I wiobt hurt you if you tell me, what you know" he says deadly

The men shivers, almost peeing on himself. " I-I ONLY K-KNOW THAT SUSHIM PUT TAXES ON ALL FOODS AND WATER" he says

Ashok shook the men " why?" He says

The men cried " I don't know, I don't know" he says, but ashok shook him some more, " I know you know more then you think. What is Sushim up too? Why is he in command?"

The men was about to respond when Devi came " ashok, what are you doing!!?, leave the men alone" she says now walking towards him

Ashok held onto the men, not budging " this is none of your business. Devi, go back home"

" I won't, until you let him go"

" you don't understand, he has something that I need"

" I don't care, threatening someone to death is not the answer"

Ashok glare at the men a little longer before dropping him, he watch as the men ran away. Ashok turn to Devi, making her scared. He glare at her and walk away, when she calmed down, she ran after him. When they reach their home, ashok refuse to speak to her, vit asks whats wrong with his brother, and devi says they had a fight.

Dharma, says ashok will forgive you, he always does. Devi smile, " your right, he will understand my reason."

suddenly a men call the whole village, everyone gathered. He told them about the party that will be held in chanda house. Everyone started mumbling amongst one another. Vit says " devi-didi this is the perfect opportunity to be alone with chand, and confess your feelings" , devi blush " i-i dont like chand, besides he hates me"

Vit laughs " no way, bhai is in love with you... his just to stubborn to show it."

" you think so?"

" yes"

" but i dobt think he wil attend"

" trust me he will"

Meanwhile, sushim spies nod at one another before headibg to inform sushim. When sushim found out he was outrage. " those people choose to ignore my words. Fine, go to tht party and destroy everything. And if they resist, kill them" he says

Charu sitting on her thrown, told him not to waist his time on stupid things. She said, they should be looking for ashok, to kill him. Sushim while doing push ups told her not to worry. He says this time ashok will die by his hands, after all his invinsible. he says because ashok lost all ties with father, he is Bindu favorite now. He made it clear to make sure no one mention the name ashok, or Dharma. " you forgetting it's all because of me" his mom says

" yes we are a perfect team"

Elsewhere, it was late, ashok, Devi dressed in something beautiful walk to ashok while he was convercing with a men. She cleared her throat getting his attention. Ashok was surprise, but he hide it. " you look nice " he mumbles

" thank you" she says, she fidge before finally saying it " ashok, will you come with me to the party", she says with hope

" I'm sorry Im busy right now, " he says before continue his conversation

Devi, feeling rejected walk to the party. She was unaware of ashok watching her with an apologetic look. Ashok says his good bye to the men, and turn to leave when he notice someone with Patna armor. Alert, he decides to follow them, he was surprise to see them at the party. What are they doing here, who sent them? Is it Sushim?.. or father? , he thought

Ashok is scene dancing with Devi.

" where did you get this food"

The guards laugh before throwing the table of food on the floor. Surprising everyone. He was about to hit the boy when to hands stop him. Both parties look at one another confuse.

Dharma had the same vision, ashok becoming ruthless. She says I have to find someone that will calm his heart, when that time comes. Suddenly she saw Devi outside with an injured ashok. She listen while he moans in pain

Sushim angry says " this person that killed my guards must be ashok" " I will come to where he is and kill him with my own hands "

" don't be stupid Sushim, ashok will come to us, and we will kill him. Just wait " she says

Kaurvaki is scene saving young kids from being taken. She caught one of the soldiers, and kick him. The men throw sand on her face and cut her on her stomach, just when ashok confess his feelings to Devi.

Everything was going well at the party, Bel asks Kaurvaki if she will change to something nice, she refuse. She told her what she have is fine. Bel protested saying she's a princess, she should dress more royalty. " I don't need to show my statues Bel, right now I am just a commoner like everyone else. Leave it that way"

Chanda laughs, she told her to lighten up a bit. She says Kaurvaki will never find a husband if she can't even have fun. Kaurvaki says she had fun with them. Chanda says that's different. " how can a men see how truly pure your heart is, if you hide it in a box"

Kaurvaki staid quiet, Chanda says if she wants to prove that she can have fun then sing in front of everyone. " What!!?"

" Mrs. Chanda, I don't think it's a good idea, I mean Kaurvaki has never sang before"

Chanda shush her, and look at kaurvaki " even the most terrible voice can become beautiful, just let it all out" she says

Kaurvaki thought about it. She wsnt trying to bring back bad memories, because it hurts her heart. Bel seeing tears coming out of her eyes, tried conseling her by telling her, she doesnt have to, but kaurvaki says she will do it.

Chanda introduce her as her grand daughter, before Kaurvaki walk in front of everyone, she nervously look at the crowd, and saw a boy that reminds her of young ashok. Suddenly words just came out her mouth " priyathama o priyathama"

Ee mounaraagalane palike hrudayam,

Ninnu choodalani edo maata,

Cheppalani

Kalavaristhondanio thelusa,

She sadly remember all the moments until they part ways. She wiped her tears and finish the song, before hiding her pain in her box. Everyone clapped for her, even her maid bel mouth was wide open. " was that really kaurvaki" she mumbles

Chanda smirk " she let her heart sang, you could hear the pain in her voice"

" she so strong" bel says smiling

Devi sniff a little, she felt sorry for the girl, she knew exactly how she felt after all chand rejected her. She sadly eats, but stop when she nottice chand. She saw him standing in the corner, she calls his name and asks what he was doing. He cursed under his breath. When he didnt respond devi smiles " i get it, you felt guilty and came to keep me company"

Ashok nod, he knew he had to keep a low profile, if he wants to catch sushim guards. Devi grab his hand and drag him to the floor , so much for that, he thought. She danced around him while he just stood their. " come ashok dance"

" I don't dance" he says

Devi doubt it. She puts her head on his chest and dance, ashok surprise, hesitate before putting his arm around her back.

Meanwhile, the men and his soldiers, walk in the party smuggly. They walk to the food and saw a little boy about to eat. The men asks him " who brought these food "

The boy smile and turn around. He suddenly became scared, but, he remember fear was weakness " our goddess sent us these food"

" really!? And where is your goddess, she thinks she can ignore prince Sushim rules" he says now raising his voice. The other guards laugh before throwing the table full of food on the ground. Everyone stop to watch, the men was about to hit the boy when two hands stop him. Both parties look at one another, before looking at the men, " why are you causing trouble at this party?"

" I have everyright, by the order of prince Sushim, this party will be cancel, and the one who brought this food shall be arrested."

" Sushim!?" Kaurvaki and ashok mumbles

Kaurvaki remove her hand, and told him they paid for the food. The men says those fishes we're also taxed. Didn't you know that. Kaurvaki says, it's a public area open to people, he has no right to taxe something that doesn't belong to him, but instead the people. The guards laugh, the men turn to his soldiers " little miss talk big for a COMMONER "

he was about to touch her fAce when ashok, squeeze his hand. Making him scream. " I forgot about you" the men says before telling his guards to kill them. Kaurvaki, saw the men running towards her side step, the same time ashok twist the men's arm. She grab her pocket knife, and upper kick one of the guards before slitting his side. Ashok, saw a rock and kick it up, aiming at the men.

Both parties unconsciously coming behind each other, back to back. Ashok search for Devi and found her hiding, he sigh with relief. Chanda seeing one guard, took her cane and smack him on the head " my party is ruin because of you, now I will charge you for the damage " she says, Bel says this is not the time to be saying that.

While ashok was distracted the men stab his side making Devi call for him. Ashok squeeze the knife out, making the men scared. He grab the men by the throat saying " if you think Sushim is the devil then you haven't met me yet, I will kill Sushim and everyone in patliputra", he angrily broke the men's arm, dislocating it . The men scream, before ashok drops him.

It wasn't long before the fight ended, and ashok staggered back. He held his side while walking away, before Kaurvaki could thank him, he was gone. Devi Coming out of hiding follow ashok, while calling for him.

Elsewhere, Dharma was praying when she had the vision again. She thought it would go away once ashok leaves patliputra, but she was wrong. She knew the time is near for ashok to go back , she just wish it wasn't so soon. She says I won't go with him to see the hatred and fear he will bring to his people. She says I will have to find someone that will calm his heart, when the time comes. She thought about Kaurvaki, but reject that idea.

She knew bindu. And Jagannath would not agree to their union. After all they are enemies, but lately kalinga has been doing well with their democracy and war. It doesn't look like Jagannath is worried about patliputra. So she's out the picture, she asks the gods to give her sigh, or help her find a match. Suddenly her window open, and she heard a voice.

She look out to see Devi holding ashok, she almost fell while calling his name. Dharma worried was about to head out, but stop when ashok told her to leave him, she denies while crying " I told you before, not to use your fist to fight, you know how much I worry for you. If anything happen to you, I-I won't forgive you" she says

Ashok soften, before patting her head " don't cry Devi, I promise to be careful next time" he says

She puts him on the floor, and grab the water she had before cleaning his wound. " really?!"

Ashok nods smiling. Dharma smile and thank the gods, " she will be by ashok side through his darkest time."

But what she didn't know is how fate has another plan, a flower can calm a beast, but it takes courage to tame it.

Ashok is scene heading to kumbh mela after founding out that Sushim is coming with his father. He was angry, his blood was running. When he arrive he saw bindu on his horse holding charu hand. Everyone surprise wonder what's going on. Ashok covers his head to hear what bindu has to say. He was shock to hear this.

Dharma in her room cries, after hearing the news. Everything she had hope for was shattered. Ashok told her, he will kill them, for making her cry that's a promise.

It was another day in ashok household. Dharma while silently eating, look between the two occupant seated at the opposite side. She look at her son to see him sneaking looks at Devi while she talks to vit. The same could be said for Devi, who tried hiding her blush every time she stares at ashok. She knew something went on that night, something definetly changed.

Dharma got up and signal vit, to follow her. At first he didn't understand, until Dharma point to his brother and Devi. He smile and got up, they left the room leaving the two alone. Devi nervously plays with her hand while ashok looks away. " ashok" she says after debating with herself

" yes?!"

" I-I want to tell you t-that i-i lo"

Suddenly their was a knock, ashok got up. He went to the door to see none other then Acharya RG, ashok surprise asks how he found them, he says he got news from his people that Dharma was living here. Acharya walks in, he look at Devi and then look at Dharma in question. Dharma told Devi to go home, Devi was about to protest but she calls ashok name and told ashok to go with her.

Ashok wanted to stay to know why he was here, but sigh. He grab Devi hand and drag her outside. While they we're walking ashok wonder what could he be doing there, he knew Acharya never come without a reason. " ashok"

" yes?"

Devi nervously says she wants to tell him something. Ashok stops to listen " I really like y-... I mean not like, but l-love. Do you like me too?" She says

Ashok surprise, smile. He was happy she likes him, he didn't expect her to love him, he wonder if what he feels is love.

Meanwhile, Kaurvaki is seen saying goodbye to her mentor. Chanda told her to come back again, she said she will. While they we're walking they saw mother's weeping. Bel says she wonder why their crying. Kaurvaki walk towards them and asks, " nirankush, is taking our children to create an army. What will I do without my child" she cries

Kaurvaki says " whose nirankush?"

" he's the king of ujjaini "

" OK, do you know where their taking them?"

the lady shook her head, she said she saw them heading straight down the road. Kaurvaki told Bel they can still reach them. She told the lady everything will be fine, and got up to leave.

Elsewhere, Sushim was talking with Helen, when one soldier walk in, he told Sushim what happen, and about ashok. Sushim angrily curses ashok, he says this person must be ashok. " I will go and kill him myself"

" don't be stupid sushim. Ashok will come to us, in due time. Right now bindu favors you, you should try proving to him that your ready to be his successor, I heard his about to announce charu good news. I wonder whose idea that was"

Charu smile, " once Dharma hears this, she will never set her foot here. She will feel betrayed." She says smirking

Suddenly a guard walk in saying bindu wants to see them. They all left heading to the Royal court. " this is observe bindu, how can you let him make the decision " one of the minister says

" half of the people are starving, because of this. This is no way a successor should think." Another says

Bindu sush them by raising his hand. He looks at his elder son. Over the years Sushim had showed him that he could be a good king. But bindu didn't know if that was all planned or not. " sushima, I gave you controll Over the finance , but from what I see here, you made a wrong decision" he says observing him

Sushim calmly says " father, I did it for you. With the rate things are going we will be bankrupt. If we don't tax people for food, our increase in profet will decrease"

Bindu raise his brow " I understand your concern for the kingdom, but remember a person can not build an empire alone.it's takes everyone to make it happen. Thats something you have yet to learn Sushim."

" I'm sorry father" " I should have talk to you about it first" he says with his fist bold

" it's not me you should apologies to it's the people of ujjaini. " he says

Charu gasp " isn't it enough he had to apologize in front of the court, why make him loose his respect in front of those people"

Bindu says " a king will put everything aside for his people and family. Those people are like family, that is why This is a good lesson to become a great king."

Bindu got up and told Sushim to raise his head, he told them they shall head to ujjaini.

Meanwhile, vit in hiding watch his brother, waiting for a response, ashok puts his hands on her shoulder, before saying he like her too. Devi was happy, even though it wasn't what he wants to hear, it was a progress. Vit, shook his head while calling ashok clueless. While he was confessing, he didn't notice the necklace crack.

While this was happening, Kaurvaki and Bela followed the trail leading to a stop. They saw the wagon park, while the guards drag more young boys in the wagon. " we have to stop them" Bela says

Kaurvaki says " if we stop them now, we won't know where the other twenty fives are. " but we can't let them take those children look how scared they are"

" stay here" she says

She silently walk around the wagon, before cutting the horse ropes. Kaurvaki pat them and told them to go silently. She look over the children, and realize how scared they we're. She was about to free them when guard surround her. She took out her twin sword, and block atacks after attacks. She enjuried. Many soldiers. One decide to play dirty and throw sand in her face. Causing her to loose focus. She tried clearing her face just when the soldier cut her on the stomach. Bel calls for her, but she ignored her and managed to kill them. The children cheered after being set free, kaurvaki asks them where are the others, they told them locked up in the palce.

She says she will get them out and send them back to their mother before she fell on the floor, causing bela to scream her name.

Kaurvaki is scene in nirankush, palace dress in men clothes , making Bel laugh, she search for the young boys in the cell. Suddenly she meets ashok, who was ready to kill nirankush. For kidnaping his brother

We later on see see ashok and Kaurvaki running away from the burning palace, injured. They reach a pond and ashok finds out Kaurvaki is a female, after seeing her curve.

Scene change to ashok getting married to Devi in the temple. Everyone cheered for them, Kaurvaki fainted while heading home. Bela Calls for help, and the place guards took her to the informary

Acharya. Says to Dharma it is time for ashok to go back to his motherland. Dharma says it's his honey moon, let him spend it with is wife.

Ashok is scene heading to kumbh mela after founding out that Sushim is coming with his father. He was angry, his blood was running. When he arrive he saw bindu on his horse holding charu hand. Everyone surprise wonder what's going on. He watch as bindu step down and asks for sushim to do the same. Bindu look at his people, imagining little ashok being in the crowed. Yes bibdu is angry, but he felt guilty as a human being for sending him away from his mother land. He hope he can make amand with charu. " my people, i am truly sorry for what my son sushim has done. he is apologetic as well, that is why he is here before you to seek your forgivness.

Ashok covering his head, angrily glares at Sushim. His blood was boiling calling for blood. He was ready to step out of the crowd when a hand stops him, surprise he calm down. And the person shook his head telling him not to do it. So ashok turns back to listen " my father is right. I should have spoken to you all first before making the decision. It won't happen again." He gritted

Dharma shook her head. She told him, she wasn't crying because of bindu, she says she knew this would happen, after all she is bindu first wife. She says "nirankush has kidnapped your brother, to lure you. please ashok bring him back in one peace!" She cries

Ashok look at his mother hand on his shoulder " why the show of love mother, you should know by now that even without you asking me, I would have brought vit back without harm."

Dharma says " you are living with so much anger and hatred that you can't even see the love in your own mothers angry words. Or is it you just don't want to see it"

" if preventing me from killing my enemy is showing how much you care, then I guess I'm not the insane one here" when he said this Dharma was shock, Acharya calls ashok name, telling him to see reasoning, but ashok was just to angry. He was pissed that Sushim got away once again, and now his brother was taken without his notice. He sigh before apoligizing. To his mom, he says " we have learnt only one thing from one another, and that is to hide our pain from each other. If you could see , then you would have understand how tiered I am, but it doesn't matter now. I will save vit, but not because you requested it, but because his my brother"

Ashok, turn to the door before angrily calls nirankush name, " I won't spare you for taking my brother and harrassing my family " he says

Meanwhile, Kaurvaki woke up, tierd, and sweaty. She stood up while thinking about the children, Bela told her to rest and heal before going to help. " I've rest long enough, while those boys are crying for help"; she stood up with the help of the tree, Bela didn't like that she's ignoring her health, she tried convincing her to do it tomorrow, but Kaurvaki stops her, telling her this is the perfect time. .. to let them ascape.she told Bela if she doesn't want to Come, she can go back to kalinga without her.

Bela shook her head while watching Kaurvaki putting her sword back on. When she start to walk, she ran after her. It wasn't long before they reach the palace. They could see guards lined up. Bela says how will they get in. She turn to look at Kaurvaki to see her stepping out and using her female charm to attract one of the guards. Once he was near the bushes, she knock him unconscious, and stole his clothes. " she never listens to me, I swear one day she will get herself killed " she says

" what was that?"

Bel jump and turn around, she was about to say it was nothing when she saw Kaurvaki outfit choice. She giggle irking Kaurvaki. She through the outfit in her face, making her stop laughing before telling her to hurry up. It wasn't long before they we're in the palace searching for the young boys. they hide seeing guards running. They wonder what's going on.

Turns out ashok had save vit, and was fighting with nirankush, after seeing the wound he infelected on his brother. Everyone could agree that nirankush was a men who talks big, because right at this moment. Ashok was killing every soldier he tells to kill him. Ashok was far lost to care. He remember telling vit to hide somewhere, because he doesn't want him to see what will happen. He had left vit on the stairs, he just hope he didn't disappear.

While Kaurvaki and Bel search for the missing boys... they heard noises somewhere, and it led them to a door leading downstairs. They look at one another before going down, their they saw a young boy, bored. " who are you?"

" I can't tell you my name, you could be an enemy?" He says

" my name is karubaki " she says, making vit pout. He says in head, now I will have to tell her my name... but maybe I don't. She could be an enemy to bhai.

" I still won't tell you my name" he says proudly

" I never asked"

" you didn't, but you we're trying to trick me" he says

Kaurvaki smile " smart boy" she says

" how would you like to help me find, some kids down here" she says

" I don't know... bhai told me not to leave this place"

" suit yourself then, Bel let's hurry" she says

They both walk away searching, while vit contemplate. It wasn't long before he decides to help them. They search until they found the boys crying for help. They saw some guards keeping guard, this made them stop. Kaurvaki told them to find the key while she distract them. They watch as she throw something grabbing the guards attention, before running away. The guards chase after her, disappearing from the area. Bel and vit nod before searching for the key. When they found it, they unlock the doors and told them to ascape.

Kaurvaki came back injured. She told Bel she is fine, and said she has put gas all over the palace, they should leave quickly before the fire catches them. Vit says he can't leave without his bhai. Kaurvaki told him she will find him, and told Bel to take him away. Vit was about to protest, but Bel ressures him.

Elsewhere, Devi was at the temple studying medicine. She couldn't concentrate because she was thinking about ashok. She hasn't scene him all day. " hello Devi?"

She turn to see ashok mother, quickly she got up and respectfully greet her. " ah... hello!?" She says flustered

Dharma smile " how is your studying?!"

" it's OK, I'm learning some new healing herbs that can help countering poisen" , Dharma smile before their was a long pause " look Devi, I notice you and my son chand have been getting close. And with your father concent I would like you and chand to get married."

" What!!!?" She scream, standing up while knocking over her book. She quickly apologize before Dharma help her pick up her book. She smile when she saw her son name on her notes " seeing this, I guess that's a yes" she says making her blush

" I would love to marry chand, I already see him as someone I would be with my whole life so yes"

" good because you will marry him tomorrow " , when she said this Devi was surprise " me and ashok forever" she mumbles

Ashok is scene fighting nirankush, both parties, at each other throats. " you are very skilled to be a commoner chand... or should I say ashok" he says

Both parties we're to busy with one another to notice the fire surrounding them. " a commoner can become something far greater then the average ruler. And it's this commoner that will end your life today." He says before dancing past nirankush swing, and land a heavy blow behind the knee with the arming sword to Pierce his skin. , nirankush scream in pain while holding his knee with one arm.

" that was just a small taste, I will send you to the ground along with Sushim" he says before swinging his sword up in the air, making it go " Whoosh" " Whoosh!!" Nirankush urse under his breath, he tried to bare the pain. He could feel his wrist vibrating, while along with his sword as he block ashok attack. He could feel his knee buckling, while trying to push back ashok sword. Suddenly his knee crack, making him scream, and get down on both knee.

He knew this was it, he could see the fire blazing, while getting higher and higher, he tried to plead with ashok, to make a bargain with him. But all ashok saw was red " today no one will stop me, as I ashok will punish you" nirankush in fear almost peed on himself, he watch as the blade slice through his side, cutting him in half. He fall down, while taking his last breath.

The fire was now getting dangerous. Ashok quickly look for an ascape, suddenly he heard a shout. He turn to see one of nirankush guard throwing water. The person calls him over quickly before the palace collapse on them. Ashok a little skeptic follow the person. He cover his mouth when he inhale the smoke, and ran through the jungle. Once they we're clear, they both couph inhaling clear air.

Ashok look at the person before raising his sword " tum kaun ho?" , the person look up frowning " is this what I get after saving your life"

Ashok laugh " I was perfectly fine, besides I could have gotten out alive"

The person stand up, " right, if I had known you we're like this, I would have left you their to die. But your lucky I have a conscious "

Ashok frown, he obviously didn't like this person. Especially the way he/ she talks to him. The feeling was mutual, kaurvaki. Was wondering how a boy like vit can have a brother like him. She observe him from the corner of her eyes before mumbling something not so pleasant. She sigh before shifting her foot to walk, ashok follows. Kaurvaki asks him why he's following her.

Ashok put his sword back before telling her it's a one way road up ahead. He walk ahead of her so she wouldn't think she's in charge, Kaurvaki seeing this, now took the lead. Ashok frown, and walk even faster, " it's better for you to follow so you won't get lost"

" and you won't?!"

Ashok half smirk " I know this jungle better then you"

Kaurvaki was now irritated, she saw a mud puddle up ahead she was about to warn him when he jump over it. She says while mumbling, " show off", she quicken her step, but cried when the pain hits her. Ashok stops and turn back " are you OK?!"

Kaurvaki nods, and told him to keep walking. Ashok was about to, but stop when he saw blood dripping. " your wounded?"

" it's nothing" she says brushing it off " are we almost there?"

Ashok told her, they could be if they run. Kaurvaki nod, before getting ready to run... ashok told her she won't be able to run, he told her to get on his back. Which she plainly refuse, " look, if you want to get out of here alive then compromise with me"

Kaurvaki clearly showed how she wasn't happy. Ashok got down on his knees, and she climb on his back. While doing so she had a flashback, when her ashok did the same thing before carrying her bridal style. She quickly erase that from her thought, and touch his shoulder. Both of them felt some type of electric shock, but neither comment on it.

When ashok lift her he was surprise at how light she was. He stood up and start running. She was shock at his speed, it wasn't long before they reach the one road. But Kaurvaki wasn't feeling to good. She told ashok to put her down when she saw a waterfall. He wasn't to gentle while putting her down, he practically drop her on the floor.

Kaurvaki glare at him " my brother could be anywhere, even in danger, while your here, wasting my time."

" then go" she says loosen energy " I don't need someone with no compation to help me"

Ashok angrily snorted " uncompationet, says the person whose ungrateful "

Now Kaurvaki was heated " I Saved Your Life, instead of a thank you. I get a cocky attitude "

" for the last time, I was capable of handling myself. I didn't ask you to save me. I shouldn't even be helping someone who hides himself in a mask" he says

" fine, G-" she never finished before fainting. Ashok turn around when he heard a "Thump!" , he quickly knelt down and shake the person shoulder " excuse me...hey you OK...wake up?!!" It was no use, Kaurvaki wouldn't wake up. Ashok touch her forehead and realise it was burning up. He quickly pick her up and took her near the waterfall. He lay her down and rip his sash and wet it. He squeeze the water and came back putting it on her forehead, he look at the sky to see it getting dark, he hope his brother was doing fine.

He stares at Kaurvaki, wondering if he should remove the mask so she could breath more easier, but refrain from doing so. He saw her shiver, making ashok search for a stick and rocks. " we said a lot of harsh words earlier, and yet I'm here helping you recover" he says

After he created fire he decides to keep watch. While thinking of his family, and Devi. Being away from her, he realize he love her too. He smile thinking about it, " this was the same feeling I had with Kaurvaki, but back then I thought it was because we became really good friends. I didn't have a name for this feeling, now I know.

" Kaurvaki.. I wonder where you are now, and what your doing... do you still hate me, or forgive me for what I did" he says looking at the stars.

The next day Kaurvaki woke up to see ashok, turning of the fire. She was feeling a bit better. Her wounds still not close. " you should wash that and tie something on it" he says

Kaurvaki asks if he staid up all night, he nods. She thank him before heading to the fall with clothes on. Ashok was bout to protest about it, but stop when he saw her in the middle of the water. She lift her hand to capture the water falling, but stop when she realize how heavy it's making her uniform. She wash the wound and was about to get out when ashok says " your a girl!! "

Kaurvaki blush, " isn't it obvious "

" no, with you wearing that outfit, you look like a men. "

Kaurvaki smirk " a small child can tell I was a girl, but a men as yourself couldn't even tell. "

Ashok blush in embarrassement. He watch as she walk by him, her curves showing through the clothes. It was perfect in every way, ashok quickly shook his head before gathering his stuff " we should leave now, since your feeling better"

Kaurvaki nod, she quickly grab the sash that ashok gave her and starts to tie it around her waist, but she cried when the pain hits her and the blood starting resurfacing. Ashok seeing her struggling walk behind her, grabbing the bandage to wrap it. Kaurvaki stop moving when she felt his body heat. Her whole body was on fire, " what are you doing? "

" isn't it obvious, I'm trying to help you so I can leave"

." I don't need your help" she mumbles

Ashok unconsiously move closer, he told her to stop being stubborn. Before tying it, when his hands would accidently touch her skin, she would blush. She could hear her heart beat, which made her frown. Once he tie it, she quickly turn around, clumsily twisting her foot, making her head hit ashok chest. She shly blush, while lecturing herself. What is wrong with you kauri, your usually never clumsy, why now. These feelings shouldn't ressurace. I had lock it up ten years ago, until I see ashok again.

" are you alright" he says feeling a jolt through his whole body. She look up at him, her face still being covered. Ashok look down at her mesmerized by her eyes. They stared at each other for a minute,.but it felt Iike eternity. ( o priyathom could be heard playing)

Kaurvaki was the first to snap out of it before she did something she would regret. She remove herself and told him, they should hurry up. Which ashok gladly comply.

When ashok arrive home he saw vit outside. He ran to ashok while crying, soon Dharma came down, follow by Devi. They bombed him with question, but ashok just ressures them that everything is fine now. " she did keep her word" vit smirk

" who... vit?"

" karubaki, I helped her save the kids nirankush held captive"

" so that's why she was there" he thought, Devi was a little jealous " we had no words of you, or how to reach you, but you we're with some girl."

" it wasn't like that Devi, she saved me, and she became injured holding us back from going home" he reasons

Devi pouts, before sighing. " don't be jealous devi-di, ashok love you a lot, besides she was in disguise, so we couldn't see her face. She's probably not as pretty as you "

Devi smile before pinching vit cheeks, Dharma told them to come inside because tomorrow they will get married. Ashok was taken back, " we just confess not to long ago, why marriage now"

Dharma says " if you love someone so much wouldn't you want to be with that person, as much as you can. You can go to war at anytime, and die. Regretting the fact that you forgot to marry the girl you love. Would you like that ashok?" " does your soul cry to be with that person??"

Ashok thought about it, he remember Kaurvaki, but he brush it aside. Then he remember when he watch the lady walk away. How his soul pang, and long to be with her. He look at Devi, and felt that pang, but it wasn't the same. " yes It does"

" good then sleep, tomorrow we will marry you to Devi"

Ashok told himself to stop thinking about kaurvaki, he says he hasn't seen her in years, she is his past and Devi is now his present. He stare at Devi while she and his mom talk about the ceremony. " yes, she will be a good companion for me"

Elsewhere, Kaurvaki is searching for her friend, when she nottice Bela asking people for her. She turn when she spotted Kaurvaki. " kaurvi!! " " your alive "

" of course, why wouldn't I be?"

" that's good" Bel says before hugging her, Kaurvaki told her she needs to change, Bel gave her the change of clothes before going somewhere private. While changing she wince, when she accidently twist her side. She stop when recalling ashok wrapping the sash around her.

Shaking her head, she quickly puts the clothes on and walk out. They walk for a while before stopping to rest. It wasn't long before they saw a little girl and boy begging for money. Some guards taunt them and hit them. The boy defends his sister, by taking the hit. Some commoner whisper, while others ignore while being afraid. Kaurvaki, got up and walk to the two, she bends down and pat the little girl. " the world can be very cruel even to children, that's why you shouldn't cry. This is a life lesson, that will make you and your brother strong "

She took out some money and hand it to them, " use it and learn from it" she says before turning to leave. Bel smile at Kaurvaki, even though she looks mean, she is very nice. Shes proud to be serving her, and walking beside her.

The next day, everyone was at the temple, the family decided to do a small ceremony because they didn't want ashok enemies to find out. Ashok and Devi listen to the priest before doing exactly what he said. Dharma smile, seeing this. Ashok and Devi got up and start doing the rounds. When they reach the last one, everyone cheered for them. Vit, ran and hug them, while Dharma walk over to them. Devi took her blessing, so did ashok. For some reason he felt lost, but he ignored the feeling.

Meanwhile, Bel and Kaurvaki finally made it. All that walking paid off. Bel turn to Kaurvaki to tell her, something . .. when she nottice how sweaty and out of breath she was. She was about to ask if she was OK, when she fainted. Bel scream causing the guards to run to her. They saw Kaurvaki and quickly took her inside, to the healing chamber.

Jaganathan asks what happen, and Bela retold everything. Kaurvaki mom cries. She told jagannathan This would happen. She says why didn't you make me raise her normally. She could have lived in peace without fighting, and get married. Jagannathan. Says " you know as well as I do that our daughter is a trouble magnet, trouble will always find her, but that will make her strong."

Kaurvaki mom frown, she says " what will we do about the prince, his waiting to meet her"

" he will just have to wait until she's healed "

Her mom sigh before watching the healer work her magic. Once done, she sat by her side and hold her hand.

Meanwhile Dharma was in her room when she had a dream, she was back at the palace, she could see charu doing black magic, and bindu lying on the bed, lifeless. She could hear Sushim taunt and charu laughter. She could see Sushim sitting on the thrown. She gasp awake " no, this can't happen" she says

She got up, and walk to get water. When suddenly someone knocked, she asks who it was, and the voice answered. She sigh with relief before opening. " what are you doing here so late?" She says

" I'm here to tell you that the time has come, for ashok to go back. To save his land and become the king" Dharma frown, she says ashok just got married, let him enjoy his honey moon, and then we will tell him." She looks at acharya " I don't want him to go back, I want him to live a life where he won't have to change. , but I know it's inevitable "

Acharya says " you can't always protect him from what is ment to happen. All you can do is give him strength to make it alive"

Dharma nod sadly, she said her goodbyes to him before closing the door. She was about to head to bed when she heard a knock. She figure it was Acharya again, but she was wrong. The person smile and grab her by the neck squeezing it until, she was unconsious, " ashok will have no choice, but to come and find me" he says

Telling his guard to drag her, he step out and told his guard to set the house on fire, before leaving. Unaware of vit, sound asleep. It wasn't long before someone walking by quickly call for help, everyone gathered calling for chand, but he was no where in sight. Acharya quickly ran inside avoiding the fire, he walk to the rooms and found vit, unconsious. He quickly ran out before the house collapse. He shook vit, but he wouldn't wake up, he check his pulse and sigh with relief.

While walking he saw a patriputra badge, " so someone from the palace is behind this, it had to be sushima" he says

Ashok is scene happily coming back with Devi, from their honeymoon. He expected to see a warm welcome, but he was surprise to see his house brunt. Shock he calls for his family

" Sushim has your mother, expecting you to come find him"

Ashok says, he will kill Sushim, because now he won't spare him. They will continue where they left off, and this time his blood will spill on this earth. Devi told him, it s a trap, and he should find another way to save dharma, ashok ignores her, and told Acharya to look after them. He went on his horse heading to his motherland.

Kaurvaki now well over heard the prince saying how he can marry someone who isn't even of royal blood. He says theirs no record of her birth, or claim. She's not even on the royal list. Kaurvaki hearing asks him to repeat

" Kaurvaki wait, please don't leave " , Bel cries. Jagannatha is seen running after her, he told all his guards to find her and bring her back. While her mom cries.

A week past and Kaurvaki was starting to recover. Everyone was happy especially the guards. They love their princess, and she showed them with so much kindness. Jaganathan. Had to keep making excuses for the prince from another kingdom. The prince was getting irratated. He walk down the hall to go to the garden, when he saw Kaurvaki practicing, he was mesmerized by her beauty. He walk to her clearing his voice, making her turn, pointing her sword near his throat " who are you?"

" your fiance of course" the men says cockily

Kaurvaki almost drop her sword "I don't remeber agreeing to marry"

" well your father had reach to me long ago. Don't worry I will shower you with many things. And once we're married, you won't need to do this anymore.a female as fragile like yourself shouldn't touch a sword. Its unlady like" he says

Bel who was watching shook her head. Kaurvaki turn her back on him and walk to grab her bow and arrow " would you like to play with me, prince", the prince nod, saying he has a little time. Kaurvaki nod, she told him to stand still, and told bell to put an apple on his head. The prince confuse laugh " this game is old, anyone can do it" he says

Kaurvaki grab the bow and errow, " your right, it is. Thats why I should make it interesting " , she puts the errow in the fire and prepare herself. The prince suddenly starts to panick , " w-what are you doing?"

" im playing a game" she says smartly

" this is not right"

" you shouldnt worry about me hurting you, since im so fragile"she says. The men prosted, but kaurvaki told him to stay still. He kept shaking out of nervousness the whole time. She finally let the errow go making it zoom pass her and hit the apple, scaring the prince. bel laugh while kaurvaki walk closer . " the difference between me and you is, even though im a girl, my determination and will is strong. And your not, your weak... your just a spoil prince whose never faught in his entire life."

She touch his hand making him blush, before saying " you re as fragile as a baby bottom. If anyone should marry me, it should be someone who i can call my equal, whose hands as rough as a rock showing how much he worked , not afraid to do something dangerous. some one that wont back down, even when entering hell. That is someone i will acknowledge as my husband. Do you think you have that, prince" she says

The prince, held his breath at her stare. He almost peed on himself, but luckily one of his butler arrive calling him. He quickly made an excuse an leave. Bel told kaurvaki she was a little harsh on him , kaurvaki pick up the errow " i was just stating a fact, if he thinks i was trying to be mean, then let him think that"

The prince after calming down. Angrily yells " that good for nothi ng girl, how dare she insult me" he says, he was thinking of going back their and showing her whose boss when he heard a voice. " sir, I did what you asked"

" perfect"

The men look at the book and scan through it. What he found was a surprise . " is this true?"

" yes sir, theirs no record"

The prince smile before marching to jagannath office.

Meanwhile, ashok was on his horse heading home. He had his arm wrapped around Devi. When he arrive everyone was calling his name. He was surprise at how dead they all look. Ashok wonder what's going on, when he reached his house he was surprise. He quickly puts Devi down and step down. He ran to where his house use to be before calling for his mom and brother. The people sadly surround him... they told ashok what happens, and he fell to the floor in shock. He told them it must be a lie, his mom and brother are alive.

One men tried counseling him, he told ashok the fire was to much... no one would be able to survive that. Ashok squeeze the men hand out of anger, saying his lying. Devi told him to let the men go, but ashok refuse. The men scream while shaking, he was afraid for his life. " ASHOKE!!... let him go" the voice said

He turn surprise to see Acharya, he was about to question him when he saw his brother in his arm sleeping. Ashok with tears let the men go. He walk over to touch his brother, but he was afraid, he look at Acharya for answer and he nod letting him know vit was alive. Ashok let the tears come out, letting it fall on vit face. after calming down, ashok asks if his mom with him, acharya looks away. Ashok asks again, a little louder and out of anger, but acharya refuse to look him in the eyes. " who is is?" He asks upset

" sushim" " he has dharma, and is expecting you to show up"

Ashok gasp, before bolding his fist.He says, he will kill Sushim, because now he won't spare him. They will continue where they left off, and this time his blood will spill on this earth.
