Right now Ranveer is easily among the top 5 due to his back to back hits of Ram Leela and Bajirao. Deepika was in both movies and most of his PR and news articles have something to do with her. Without Deepika he had movies like Gunday, Kill Dill and DDD which were disasters.

So is he relevant only because of Deepika?

It is not always about the hits and flops.Hits matter..if they bring better/bigger future projects

it is what you are capable of bringing to the table..how excited the producers/directors are in working with a star.

The potential is what makes the future..not the past hits.

His debut BBB did not have deepika. He was highly praised for it and the movie was a hit too.

gunday, kill dil and DDD were not disasters, gunday was a semi hit, kill dil was a flop, and DDD was average

and no he is not relevent only because of deepika, he also starred in ramleela and BM, not just deepika, he was the leading actor in both of those movies, so he does get credit for thier success

people act as if deepika carried ramleela and bm on her shoulders alone, that is not the case, ranveer worked hard for those films and his work was appreciated

I think after BM things have changed but before that he was mostly relevant because of DP.

NOT giving DP credit for his talent but for being the reason why he was always in the news back in the day.

😕 he has done only 8movies leave him alone deepika isnot reason in ram leela he was not awarded any thing but in bajirao he was bec he did work hard sodont give all credit her he is working hard too yes befikre is imp for him as career progress too
