What happened to Gopi's mom

I know she came back and turned evil, but I didn't watch those episodes, so what happened? Why did she come back, why did she leave in the first place, and why did she turn evil? Did she hate Gopi? What happened to Sona and Madhu's relationship? Did she die? What happened, details someone please!

Madu was banished because she tried to steal little Rashi away and Kokila stopped her. Gopi found her again with Sona and brought her home. Madhu blamed Gopi and Kokila for Radha's death, mostly Kokil and wanted revenge to the point where she conspired to have Kokila kidnapped and torture Gopi before stabbing her. It was after this that Madhu got a tinge of guilt and fell off a cliff, asking Gopi to let her go. She died.

I think I remember a scene where Kokila was being evil. Why was she being evil or was it her lookalike (seems ridiculous if it was her look alike with same exact face and bodyshape)

Gaura and Madhu found a vegetable vendor who had the same build as Kokila. They put a mask on her and she tortured Gopi because Gopi found out.

The CV's have not given them the screen space or any role for them to play..

cuz gopi killed radha so madhu Angry on gopi is justified and gopi always ignore her mother so definatly madhu anger on gopi is justified for me I strongly belive when son has responsibility towards his parent's then daughter's should also have same responsibility towards her parent's please don't say daughter is parayi dhan if so then killing girl child is not wrong so gopi did mistake by ignoring her own mother and killing her own sister so for me madhu angry is justified
