Well,I too believe something has happened with him,something so grave which turned him into what he is today. I believe,there are many layers to Shivaay as well. and I can see them already.
There has to be a back story for the guy. I refuse to believe that he was born this way! He is a layered character and he needs to be explored.
Like,yesterday's scene Omkara being an alcoholic and actually Shivaay being his savior that time. Woah..Shivaay loves his brothers we all know,he had sent Om to rehab and helped him overcome drugs but what has he done to himself in return?he HIMSELF needs drugs to keep his body working? Isn't is quite amusing? He says he cannot afford to fall sick cause his every moment lays money,but is it so? or it's just he is really a afraid soul?
That is what rings the red bell. If Shivaay can pull his brothers out of the pit why can't he do the same for himself? And if he is unable to do the same then there has to be an almost 'prachand' reason behind it. He has a fearful soul and there is a more concrete reason behind his rough exterior...how can one overlook this. CV's buckle up because I want to see more of Shivaay and his past demons.
He is a really really scared kid from inside. That is what it seems to me. But yes,being always burdened with responsibility,be it Oberoi's heir race or being the elder brother,he never allowed himself to open up to others,even to his brothers. If he did,I believe he would not have needed medicines.
I concur and then some more. He is a scarred man who by passed his childhood completely in overcoming this dysfunctional family of his and shielding his baby brothers and sister. He is a man who never was given a closure and that has to be one of the reasons behind him being so callous. He suppresses his emotions hoping it will allow him to function properly.
Yes,I would definitely like more insight scenes like - in the middle of the night he wakes up and takes medicines cause he is fearful,something is haunting him always. I agree here,CVs can really do alot work on Shivaay and give him lil such moments,but I'm afraid they are planning to do it.
Hey I would love a scene such as that. He is a human after all. He cannot brave these situations all by himself. There must be moments where he would completely break down not knowing where to go and who to rely on. But alas the CV's are hell bent on kicking off his love story than his back story. Oh why??
As,you said he has already turned into a cold stone,as nobody cared anyways,now he needs needed heat,warmth to melt own the outer shield and let the kid inside him,who is so fearful,live.
He is a cold stone and before one can thaw him, one has to know the crux of his problems.
And about AnShi Romance,well I'm their fan😆 but I think being a show they will have to show something entertaining and I guess what they r doing is not totally useless. By introducing Anika,they are trying to introduce Shivaay only. And maybe we'll get scenes of his solitude only when she enters in his life. That is the CVs,can't really do anything here.
I am not against Ansi or Shivika romance. All I want is a delicate handling of the same. Why force it down our throats? Can't they let us savor it slowly? And maybe you are right but they've gotta work more on that as it comes across as too forced!
I would also like to say,Omkara has turned into a brave soul now,so much positive and enthusiastic, but Shivaay is still stuck there only where he was since a kid.Just like a kid is so stubborn that now he is actually hurting the people around him,without giving it a second thought. In the process of getting hurt or suffering,he has started up to hurt back others!🤔
Omkara has his brother to pull him out of the abyss that was slowly closing on him. Shivaay has no one. He is the eldest one so how can he fail? But he has and though his brothers have tried their level best to help him, they haven't succeeded. Shivaay is the kid who was denied love by the world and he is extending the same courtesy to them.
