prachi and future of ks...

the moment of truth is on us...now i am really really interested to see what the forum thinks future of ks should be? how nmany of us are jb fans and how many are ram prachi fans...i never thought that it would ever come to this stage..but

life happens..all said and done..prachi has as much right to move on as anybody else..personally i love ram and prachi as jai and bani and feel that their chemistry is fantabulous...but i also love jai and bani ..infact jai nad bani are more than characters for me..i am emotionally attached to them so i definately do not want a jai and meera story line...i feel they should bring in somebody to play bani for the 2 months that prachi is away hoping that the new person has good chemistry with Ram and after 2 months if prachi comes fine or else hopefully the people would warm up to the new person..

see, movies are tricky business..if prachi has got 1 film does not mean she will be like shahrukh who is the only TvACTOR to make it to superstardom..it also does not mean that she cannot do it and by all means she should try but what i feel is that she should give herself a time frame and work real hard to find movies if she gets them great otherwise keep the option open..

as far as KS goes..i am just not ready yet to let go off my JB..i will really really miss and maybe will not be able to warm up to the new bani..coz i never did warm up to jaya as jigs and the new aditya is also ...but i just cannot tolerate bani's jai being with anybody else..with meera..i am not going to be able to handle meera as mrs jai walia in true sense...

please guys i want your opinions on the subject who knows people might be reading these comments and our wishes might be heard...

If Prachi is leaving, they should just end KS. KS is totally the Jai Bani story and everything else is just topping. We already don't accept Jai with Meera now - can we accept him with someone else ever?

I'm sure Balaji or other production houses can give RK enough work so KS can be shut down. Most of the support cast are already part of other shows anyway. The main blow is that we may not get to see RK on screen till some other show picks him up.

BT should just wind up KS, give us a happy end and leave a good taste in our mouths instead of the garbage we are getting now.

I am a Jai and Bani fan because of BOTH Ram and Prachi. They have made Jai and Bani what they are for me and that is the only reason why I'm attached to the jodi and to KS. I cannot see anyone else playing either character and for me someone else stepping into either shoes would diminish my attachment. And I definetly cannot see anyone else playing Bani nor will I accept anyone else playing Bani.

Secondly, this so called article about quitting KS doesn't make sense for the simple reason that two days back there was an article where "On her neglecting 'Kasamh Se'
That's a baseless story. Viewers will never find me missing from the show. It's not about giving less time to 'Kasamh Se' but working more to accommodate both the shows. It is physically draining but I'm fine with that. I can never neglect 'Kasamh Se' because it's very dear to me." Source: DNA INDIA

And the film is only 3 months, why would she need to quit? There's more than meets the eye here.

Lastly, storywise, KS is already giving most of its audience stomach ulcers, I think it would be wise for Balaji and Zee to end the serial on a happy note and if they wish, start another one with the remaining cast members.

but jonaki...they do not have the time to give this story a happy ending that we wanted..can they give us the reunion of jb..jai ganga bonding and meera story wrapup in 20 days? ..maybe they can but i do not want a hurried end to my KS...also if prachi doesn't get any more movies after rock on and wants to do tv again then what? ..ks is looking up the story minus meera is rocking...jai ganga track is promising..probably they can concentrate on jai and ganga and maybe other issues like rano-rashi-ranveer-vidya issue, or jigs karuna being taught a lesson by ganga or even sahil's murderer..or the twins murderer or the twins could be alive and saved by somebody...anything ..its only 2 months..and i'm sure i will be able to accept another person as bani as long as jai is only close to bani..think about it i guess i would have accepted pallavi as bani..hopefully for 2-3 months, than as haddi between jb...

but zero these talks must be going on for a long time na..remember ram said when he came on jhalak ..prachi shd be in films..i don't think i will have her in tv for long...so i guess they all knew she is quitting..maybe she wants to try her luck full time in movies now..who knows?

i agree i absolutely abhorr the jai meera track but we can have less of bani scenes na? and with a new face..no plastic surgery..just everybody calls her bani..and when prachi wants to come back say in 3 mounths she can...personally i'll really really miss my JB.

The billion dollar question is what happens after Rock On? Supposing PD gets another role, then what? We went through the body doubles scenario already with the AD storyline and I don't think we're ready for that. Its true there are tons of storylines the creatives can go forward with, and definitely RK can carry the show on his shoulders without any problems. The issue is if Bani is not coming back, do we want KS on the air? Meera is already a haddi for the last month and we not accepted her. Can we stomach another 3-4 months of her in the same scene as Jai?

If it were a story line simply of Jai/Ganga, Jai finding out the truth and punishing Jigs, resolving Sahil and the R3 story, sure, KS can stay on providing Prachi returns. Otherwise, just jam-pack the next 30 or 40 episodes (till Jan end) and take KS off the air.

^^^ Per the article, she's not leaving only Kasam Se but Balaji so IF she does leave, I don't see her coming back to Balaji. Now that doesn't mean she won't come back to television but would Balaji want her back is a question that would also need to be answered.

And I do agree Jonaki, just end KS on a good note as opposed to showing nonsense of bigamy, polgamy, husband-wife swapping, child(ren) killing, cloning etc. I would much rather they end KS leaving a good taste in our mouths and starting a new serial with the remaining cast members. For me atleast, KS is nothing with Ram as Jai and Prachi as Bani.

Prachi must have been in talks with Ekta even while she was considering the movie... she is supposed to be Ekta's blue eyed girl so im sure she must have consulted her before signing the film. I hope Ekta does something for Prachi to accomodate her into KS and I hope Prachi doesnt leave KS with bollywood dreams coz she is putting her career at stake. She is taking a huge risk... Roshni hasnt quit KS she is on a break and that is a smart move coz she can return to it if nothing works for her in films. Prachi quitting in my opinion isnt the smartest thing to do. People love her in her simple Bani avtaar who is to say whether people will love her in her hip bollywood avtaar ... plus bollywood is a pretty big bad world... with no guidance .. so far ekta has despite everything helped prachi and guided her ... I think Prachi is smart but still has her innocence intact and I would never want her to loose that to the film world.
Prachi please dont leave KS. Take a break no problem but dont leave it. The cast loves u and so does the audience. I dont know if bollywood will be so welcoming but we all are soo please do stick it out and dont quit KS.

oh no..no..no...jonaki jai and meera is definately NOT happening..i definately do NOT want that...but i am ok with jai ganga bonding..ganga thawing him not only towards her but also shows him the true picture of jigs etc...then jai resolving all issues while bani is ostensibly working as maid for 12hrs and trying to avoid jai..with some jb scenes thrown in..but meera needs to be out..jai is only and only bani's...
actually i like your last scenario and i'm sure also that RAM can carry the show...
as far as if prachi gets another film..to woh to 2 months ke baad hone wala hai na? tab tak interesting scenarios to dekh sakte hain...minus neera...
they can think about what to do after mar 08...they did that for smriti irani who was tulsi for 7 yrs prachi ke lye to kar hee sakte hain...
