Most trade sources were reporting 40 plus at first, but it seems pre-Eid effect did come into play throughout the day/night and impacted collections. Here's another new tweet:

My prediction is accurate, but as I've said, I did include Tamil and Telegu versions (which I predicted would collect approx. 2 crores of the 36.25 crores I predicted ) which I think the film did not end up releasing in. Some websites were earlier reporting about the film releasing in those versions, here's an example: http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/news/18296274/Rajinikanths-Kabali-shies-away-from-Tamil-Telugu-speaking-Salman-Khan-in-Sultan.

Also, as I predicted, the figure is higher than Dhoom 3 by some lakhs, which YRF must have conveniently said to place it above Dhoom 3 😆

IM busy from 13th through rest of summer

So If I dont see in next few days who knows if I will get the chance 😆😆

@Hydro123: Thank you 😃 Actually, it is against my own rules to edit my prediction after the collections of a film are revealed! Having said that, I do provide updates at times about what the film's box office trend seems like and where the lifetime collection may end, but I don't edit my original prediction after collections are revealed!

Sultan is definitely carrying positive WOM, that's true 😊 I think the WOM will settle at the 70% range, lower than Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Too early to see what the lifetime collections will be as there are currently partial holidays in India to boost collections, the trend over the next days will give a more clear picture!
