What are you doing to us Ridz? So many facts, yet so little of what they are revealing to us. Are we looking at these revelations in a wrong way? Maybe we don't discover, because our minds have been set on searching for something else?
What if Dr. Gupta is not Jalebi Girl at all? There are other girls in this world who are studying to be a doctor and love jalebies. Perhaps she gasped "Oh" when she first saw his medical file because she had heard of the Mumbai blasts and she remembered it. Maybe her injuries are not related to that event. Could it be that she doesn't like the fire for a myriad of other reasons? As a doctor, she needs to be strict with her advice about his diabetes...
Just as I find myself thinking of one theory, you blow it away by giving us other facts. A and K both seem to be reticent, although she has confided in Lavanya about every detail. (I love that part, it shows what friends do, especially girls, talk to each other about everything.) It's clear that there are two many things that unite them, but Choco is the most important at this phase now, by bringing them closer.
It's also clear that like last chapter with Jalebi, we see how alone A really is. How, even surrounded by his friends, solitude is his best buddy.
How quickly did NK abandon me?! I am upset and hurt, this heart can only take so much...
I guessed the teaser again, yet no mention from you...again (I think I was the only who said that Dr. Gupta might utter those words).
Ranjit is here to stay and cause trouble, keep NK away from him please (I don't want that lovely visage to be scarred).
A is right she has trusted him with more than her name. She has given him her friendship and trust. She has believed that he is different and that's why she is making him a friend.
It's so hard to look at the facts in the chapter clearly, my feeling make me rush into conclusions. Well done for keeping things a mystery, you have captivated me with this story.
