7. She Knows.

She knows. She knows how much I love her.
It has been five years since we have been married, it was an arranged one.
Yet she now knows my favourite color, my McDonalds order, my eye power, at what age my grandparents died, how many pets I had and what ticks me off and what drives me.
She knows I do not like the feeling of wet socks or that I have lost eight phones till now. For an oxford graduate, I am very forgetful.
She knows my birthday, my star sign, my favourite book, movie, candy, pair of shoes, my dreams, my wishes, my worries.
She knows when I am sad or when my mood is off, she is always there with her bear tight hugs and homemade ice-creams. She knows when I am annoyed with her or angry at her, she dons on her charming "puss in boots" face that makes me want to grab her and kiss her because she looks so damn adorable.
She knows when I want quite and peace; she knows when I crave for ladoos.
She has become so attuned to me and I have too I guess. It has become a habit for us to kiss before we walk out of the door- any door. Our family is annoyed, but again, it has been five years, they are used to it.
She gets annoyed at me leaving wet towels on the bed and leaving the toothpaste open or not putting down the toilet seat, but she just sighs and accepts it now. She knows how I got the scar below my eye or that my front tooth had chipped playing football, or that I had once ran away from home when I was fifteen, devastated at the loss of my mother. No one knows that, Pushkar had found me at the bus stop and brought me back home. No one has spoken of that incident since.
She knows at what age I had picked up that razor and what made me stop. She knows about my first crush, first kiss, first everything. She knows my bad habits, my facial expressions, my mannerisms.
The point is she knows me inside out. She knows everything, every single thing that is there to know about me, and yet she still loves me with the same vigor and verve with which she loved me at the beginning of our relationship.
And I am eternally grateful for that.
Bet you she knows that too.
