Chapter 1 Pg 1, Chapter 2 Pg 3,
I was inspired to right this story after I watched my favourite fiml on TV the other day. The film is based on a book that I thought was beautiful. I wont tell you, until I finsh the FF in case you have read or watched the film, than I don't want you to loose hope with the FF. You are all most welcome to guess, but my lips are sealedđł. I hope that you all enjoy the FF. I will also continue on with Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye as well, but at the moment i'm having a writers block, where that is concerned (any hints and tips are welcome to give me inspirationđ). I hope that you like the story and please leave your comments I love to read them.
Jab We Met
Chapter 1
Raucous laughter and shouting broke the silence in the hills of Mt Abu. A group of boys ran across the restricted area of the small factory towards the pier. Jai and Ranveer were leading the boys along with Pia and the newest arrival at Mt. Abu College, Pushkar. It was Pushkar's initiation into the coolest group of kids at the college. Jai and Pushkar climbed up the pier, whilst the rest of them waited at the bottom. It was tradition to rag every boy who wanted to be part of the gang - if they succeeded than they were in.
"Come on Pushkar, we have to be out of here before the security guards come back," Jai said.
"Jai, I'm not, I mean I'm not so sure about thisâŚ."
"If you want to be part of us, than you have to do it now. Don't be a chicken-shit about this."
They reached the top and started to strip down to their boxers and t-shirts. Pushkar walked to the edge of the pier an looked down at the blackness of the lake. Jai came up behind him and patted his shoulder.
"Come on buddy, first you jump than I'll jump," Jai told Pushkar reassuringly.
"OK, you'll be right behind me, right?" Pushkar asked. Jai just nodded.
Pushkar took a deep breath, he could hear the cat calls of all the guys down below, telling him to jump. He took one last breath and dived into the blackness of the lake. Everyone started laughing as he let out a girly scream of fear and than there was silence, as they all heard the impact of flesh hitting metal. Pia let out a scream and Jai dived in after Pushkar to pull him out. He hit the freezing water and seemed to stop breathing as the coldness crept into his bones. He surfaced and took a deep breath and went down again to look for Pushkar. He caught a hold of Pushkar and pulled him up and swam to the bank with him. Ranveer and Adi pulled him out.
Lights turned on in the whole area as security started driving towards them.
"All of you get out of here, come on go," Jai shouted at them. He made sure that Pushkar was breathing and took off at a run towards his car. He jumped in and started it and drove off. The security guys were right behind him. Blaring their horns at him. He lost control of the car and crashed into a tree.
Two Weeks LaterâŚ
Jai sat in the principles office he had already gotten grief from his mother about the "incident" he didn't want to listen to the rubbish lecture that the Principal was about to spout out.
"Jai Walia, you are very lucky. I managed to convince the police to let me handle the for of your punishment, since this is your first violation of the law. You have no idea just how much danger you put Pushkar Shukla's life in by pulling that stupid stunt. I know that you are having a tough time, but it does not mean that you act irresponsibly, especially by putting some one else's life in danger. Your punishment is that you will help to the janitorial work after school, for the rest of the year. You will take part in the school's Buddy scheme. You will also participate in the school drama club. If you don't do any of those that I will expel you. Is that clear?" Mr. Dixit demanded.
"How am I supposed do to the janitorial work when I have a fractured knee?" Jai asked.
"I'm sure you will find a way Jai. Consider this community service."
Jai walked out with a limp, leaning heavily on the cane that the hospital had provided. Ranveer and the gang were waiting for him outside. He relayed quickly, adding a few insults towards Mr. Dixit about his punishment. Adi let out a whistle and laughed.
"Jai, your about to become a janitor and tutor all with out pay. Man, does that suck," Adi said, laughing all over again.
"Well, look at what we have here guys; if it isn't little Miss. Goody Two Shoes. Hasn't she had that sweater since we were kids?" Pia said.
"Hi Bani, I like that sweater of yours," Pia said sarcastically.
Bani looked up at Pia and smiled. Bani had dark brown hair down to her waist, she had a caramel complexion and the most expressive brown eyes.
"Thank you Pia, your dress looks nice as well." Saying that Bani walked away.
The gang all laughed except for Jai, who watched her with hooded eyes.
