So here goes my take
For whatever it's worth!😊
Dosti was where it all started
The Shravan Sumo friendship was sacrosanct
It was central to everything they shared...
The fights
The care
The memories
Somewhere in between they had lost themselves...
But there was still something...something, that had not changed
In those "Gyarah saal, Gyarah mahine aur ..."
Something inexplicable
Something special
A bond that had survived
All possible corrosions!
The time had come
For a reaffirmation of that BOND
So why could that bond have
Automatically not moved to the next level??
Especially when Shravan
Has only felt LOVE for Sumo all these years...
Despite the intensity of such a deep-rooted reality
Why did Shravan then address
Love
As
Friendship
What a Surreal Dichotomy that
When every pore of Shravan's existence
Was reeking of what he felt for Sumo
Has always felt for Sumo
Shravan had LOVE written all over him!!!
And yet, he labeled it as FRIENDSHIP!!
What a man, this Shravan Malhotra
What an amazing display of Heart AND Head, you are...
What exemplary mind matters you posses
By simply CEMENTING where it all started
The Shravan Sumo
Bond of FRIENDSHIP!!
Shravan knows that Sumo and he are probably at one of the most critical juncture of their lives...their demons are behind them now...all the misgivings...the heartburn...are all a thing of the past...
They have gradually rebuilt their equation
Cube by Cube
Block by Block
Brick by Brick
These Bricks need to be CEMENTED first
Shravan's LOVE means Sumo's FRIENDSHIP
And
Sumo's FRIENDSHIP is regaining Shravan's FRIENDSHIP
For Keeps!
Shravan completely understood that
And relabelled
His LOVE for Sumo
As the Shravan- Sumo FRIENDSHIP!!
With that one gesture, not only did Shravan shield his Love for Sumo Forever,
He also opened a small window for Suman to sense the blurring lines...
Between Friendship and Love!
What a MASTERSTROKE this, CVs...
You can take a bow!
Shravan Malhotra is truly stuff for the "history books"!!!

The last 5 minutes of this segment were absolutely BRILLIANT
As Shravan in the most symbolic manner says "Mujhse dosti karogi"
How seamlessly Shravan simplified everything for Sumo
That "theek hai, rehne do" was said for a reason
And then, that OUTSTANDING interplay of the "then" and "now"
Their expressions said it all
As Sumo had finally "regained" her Friend
And Shravan had made peace with the same!
What a beautiful connotation to the esoteric elements
As the stage was set with "Main tumhara intezaar kar raha hoon...aur chand bhi"
The sense of calm that finally prevailed
As Shravan and Sumo perched themselves comfortably
With only the moonlight in between...
DOSTI had never seemed so ROMANTIC before!

On the aside, am reminded of one of my all time favourite songs from an all time favourite film "Lootera"
"Dil me jaagi...ishq wali...manmarziyan...zid ki maari...bholi bhali...manmarziyan"😳
This song has such a beautiful connotation to this new chapter in the ShraMan dynamic
