Romit Orkuts to keep in touch with fans
Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of Betiyaan has recently opened a profile on the social networking site Orkut so that he is able to keep in touch with his fans from all over the world.
On his decision, the actor who already has his own website, says, "I love to interact with my fans and keep in touch with them. Also, I love to chat so whenever I get time from shooting I'm on Orkut!"
How has the response been so far? "There are varying comments, sometimes it's very critical. At the same time, some fans praise me a lot too. The best thing is I get a fair idea of my acting abilities and the areas I need to improve. The audience is the best critic according to me," says Romit.
The actor adds that he also enjoys chatting with his fans via his website but feels Orkut is more widespread.
Asked to share some interesting experiences with fans, he reveals, "I remember a fan on Orkut explained to me the meaning of my name. It's great to know people love me so much but at the same time I feel nervous as to whether I will live up into their expectations."
And what do fans refer to you as - Yuvraj from Betiyaan or Jeet of Maayka? "It's a mix but they like me more as Yuvraj I guess. It's fine when someone calls me Jeet because it means I have done justice to my both roles," he tells us.
