Gopu sees the fire while Maya is enjoying the Diwali Crackers. Gopu runs towards saying Maya Beta. He reaches Maya and everyone is shocked. He uses his hand to remove fire. So inprocess he burns his hand. Gopu says how many times should he tell her to be careful of candles. Maya argues but why the hell did he hurt himself? Gopu ansers in yell type he can do anything for her daughter. Long Pause of staring. Both come to conscience. Maya says that he needs to put mediceines ion his hand. Gopu takes his hand away and says he is used to it. Everyone gets away. TB comes forward to console Maya. Mahesh blows out all candles.
In respective room,
Maya and Gopu are recollecting the diwali incident and their words. Mya get into flashback:
Maya is doing something near Mataraani and her chunri burns all of sudden and exactly same dialogues and same incident repeat. But at the the need MB says that u 2 are less of Father daughter but more o friends. Maya says its their best relation.
Back to present. Sunan and MB come to gopu with medicines. Gopu takes his hand away but MB scolds hima and asks sunan to continue.
In morning, Gopu expresses his worry of not fulfilling the niyam of his dadaji (mb's hubby) of providing things and charity to poor. But he is very uncomfortable so he asks if he can take his some policy. MB scolds its for his fufutre, and etc. Gopu is upset as he can't fulfill his niyam. Maya hears all this.
At lunch time,
Maya is on phone and everyone else on dinning table. Maya's chamcha comes and wishes happy diwali and he brings in things. Gopu asks wat is all that. Maya answers its to fulfill Dadaji's wishes she has oredered books, clothes, crackers, etc for poor. And she is doing all this for humanity. TM gets angry and curse Maya. Gopu is stunned.
At night,
TM enters storeroom. They have a evil look. Poor Bhavna is completely confused. But TM 's indiotic talks and they set fire to the things ordered for charity and say now tommorw she will be insulted. And they leave.
In morning,
TM and their hubbies touches Gopu's feet and wishes him Happy New Year. Maya is sitting in front. Gopu blesses them to have good New Year. Koki says if starting is unfortunate. Kanti tries to tell her to shut up. Koki says that there was fire in storeroom. Gopu is shocked and asks about losses. Manhar replies nothing much just one cupboar and all those things to be given for charity. Koki says maybe this year was not shubh for charity. Maya is completely shocked.
TM alkso realize that they are suppose to topuch the feet of their hubbis and they bend down. Three bros are making signs. Koki asks them wat are they doing and to give them blesing. Kani is like why so son, once ina while we get chance to see this moment so why not enjoy it. Koki is irritated. kanti is like keep on bending. Koki looks at kanti and kanti bit scared ok baba take this blessing.
Maya gets up and confronts, Gopu and wishes him Happy New Year, but Gopu leaves. Maya says atleast he should have have wished her. TM comes in front and wishes Maya Happy New Year. Maya does same. And both wish each other best of luck as they will need it.
Maya goes to storerooom and goes through all burned items and is upset. Then she sees something, She moves towards it and bends down to pick up Payal of some lady, she is shocked and looks at it.
