I must say you make me ponder over the lyrics through your vms.
The first thing that struck me was- this song is such an irony, coming from Shravan's side.😆 Because his love is not unconditional- not any more...the young Shravan was that, but he has buried the innocence of his love that had never demanded (beyond the occ fav dish, of course😉)
Perhaps this is the journey from that Shravan to this Shravan...

Kaise tujhko yeh baat mein

May be this Shravan doesn't know how to express himself...and he has given up trying...
In that case, I suppose he would keep loving her- no matter the distance...or the misunderstandings...he simply doesn't know how to make this right and make her happy.
...Which is what I find Shravan doing in the show too...it is just that he is not trying at all, but he would be in the seventh heaven if Sumo made the effort...and he probably wants to hear it from her that he is what she wants...
The last shot of the vm- returning the jewellery...scary if I think of it as Hisaab barabar...
...romantic if he is returning her happiness.😉
