This story as per the promo revolves around this concept of Love Vs Self-respect which is a very important topic. I think most real couple fights are based on this concept.
As a girl, I feel I can live without love but its impossible to live together if my partner doesn't respect me, in any case I've to protect my self-respect... on losing which means losing my own identity
I don't think I'm alone with this thought, in fact every girl's/woman's thoughts in this perspective are the same irrespective of the generation, some may term it as being egoistic but having self-respect is totally different... like being egoistic is even when we know we're wrong we not being ashamed but having self-respect is not bowing down when we know that we're right... they look so similar but are too different... like two sides of the same coin
They slightly have a margin which is often negligible... I love this story as its so realistic, both the leads consider their self-respect the most, by protecting which they are ready to loose their most valuable things, even when they know that they are going to be hurt by losing that particular thing
Shravan left Sumo to protect his last inch of self-respect before 10 years (maybe even on knowing that he can never forget her) and Sumo today gave up her most treasured posession to protect her last inch of self-respect...
The most important thing to know while living is that sometimes losing equals gaining and sometimes it can be even more... losing infront of the most important persons in our life can be an advantage as the bond gets stronger when the other person realises what you're giving up for them... Love is infact losing ourselves while gaining our most dearest ones
This is actually a very sensitive topic and I'm glad that finally a show is entirely based on it and I'm looking forward to the day when our Shraman wil start looking beyond themselves
