hi barbie. thanks for this post.. to me such awards are all about channels competing against each other and promoting their shows.. who gets awards are also based on the personal clout held by production houses within a channel..
With regards to bestactor/actress/jodi awards are concerned.. they only reflect the current popular votes in a certain period ,ie current trends. To make history, an actor has to stand the test of time. Mishal Raheja for me has stood the test of time.His Iconic role of Dutta was one that many channels , many popular male leads tried to emulate in serials , but came nowhere near him. Awards do not make him a star.. Mishal has always been a star, in the industry, there only to act and provide us entertainment, without the need to promote himself. As, viplav too , its early days, he is very likely to leave a strong impact , needs time, god bless his versality !He continues to be a fine ,dedicated and sincere actor who remains a credit to the job he does ,and by jove he does it well! I supported him always ,with or without trend based awards, and continue to do so..

hey hammie thanks for commenting here😊...yes Dutta is an iconic character and i can not even think of anyone else potraying Dutta except Mishal...u know very well hammie that Dutta is my most favourite TV character..even after 6 years MR as dutta is in the hearts of his crazy fans like us. and here lies the versatility of Mishal.and LTL had an epic love story..thanks hammie for this wonderful comment..i am feeling better reading ur reply..yes MR has been always a star..no-one can even come close to him I am sure..i just hope what u said becomes true..as viplav he will again create history like he had earlier...lets give them some more time...thank u so much..muuuaaahhh..dont worry this kiss is not for MR but for u who is a crazy dutta lover like me..😳 hammie, i know there is no fault of the actors but i just hate Shabbir..never watched a single episode of Kumkum bhagya ever only becoz he replaced MR😆😆

Yes truly he is a great actor...after leaving a show .at its peak...he returned back as a villain in one show...how many have the guts to do so...he simply loves to experiment himself...I heard he rejected many offers because they were not quite satisfying for him...was loyal fan of him...will continue to be one...his the best actor for me😊
